{CHAPTER 33}

Hyun Ae was making her way to the pantry when she heard Jaejoong’s and Eun Kyung’s voices from inside her office.

I know, just give me one more chance.

“Jaejoong?” She whispered and went closer towards the door, pressing her ear on the only obstruction between the people inside the office and her.

One more chance? Haven’t I not given you enough chances? Do you have any idea how much it hurts when someone you love decides to lie to you, and to cheat on you?

There was a pause and Hyun Ae pressed her ear even closer to the door.

I loved you. I trusted you. This is precisely the reason why it hurts so freaking much.

“That .” Hyun Ae said.

Babe, I still love you.

M-mwoh?

“What?”

I said, I still love you.

“Oh hell no, I have enough of this bull.” Hyun Ae muttered to herself and pushed open the door without knocking.

“Hey babe, I was looking for you. Are you still up for the lunch later?” Hyun Ae said.

Eun Kyung and Jaejoong whipped their heads towards the door at the same time and Eun Kyung scoffed when she saw Hyun Ae. “Huh,” Eun Kyung said. “You said you still love me,” Eun Kyung said and shook her head. She pointed at Hyun Ae and said, “And you are asking her out for lunch?”

“Wow Jae. Just wow.” Eun Kyung said. “Leave.” She pointed at the door and eyed the both of them. “Leave my office. Now.” She said but Jaejoong and Hyun Ae stayed put. Eun Kyung sighed and packed her things. “If you guys won’t leave, I will.” She said and headed towards the door.

She stood in front of Hyun Ae and the lady gladly moved away, so that Eun Kyung could pass. Before she left, Eun Kyung shot a glare to the smug looking Hyun Ae. “I want a divorce, Jaejoong. I’ll bring you the divorce papers.” Eun Kyung said before leaving the office.

“Divorce? Wait! Eun-ah!” Jaejoong yelled, ignoring the fact that they were still in the office building. “She’s gone, Jae.” Hyun Ae purred, sitting on Eun Kyung’s desk and blowing on her freshly manicured fingernails. Her 5-inched red heels hitting against the side of the desk as she swung her legs.

“Since when did I ask you out for lunch?” Jaejoong asked, standing in front of her, her legs between his. “Do you still love her?” Hyun Ae asked and Jaejoong looked at her in shock. “How did-” “I overheard. Did you really mean what you had told her?” Hyun Ae ask
