No one's POV: 

As much as Yixing hated it, he had broken his nose, earning him the rest of the week away from school. To begin with, Yixing thought that a few days away from school would be great for him; he could sleep in longer and lounge about all day... boy was he wrong... he was bored out of his mind and his nose was causing him so much pain! When the headmasters wife took him to the hospital, Yixing was told by the doctors he was lucky his nose took the hit from ball and not his face. They checked him over for anything to signal a concussion and then assessed his nose. 

A whining and bruised Yixing later, the doctors were able to tell him that he wasn't going to die from his injuries. His nose was broken, but it wouldn't require surgery, just like breaking your bones, his nose would heal itself overtime. Before then, Yixing was given this... mask thing to wear but no way was he wearing that to school! The other students at the school would rip him for it!

"Do I have to wear this?" Yixing asked on the Monday of his return, pointing to the mask currently on his face as he and the headmaster walked towards the car 
"Wait until we're out of her view and then you can take it of" the headmaster replied, reffering to his wife who was standing at the doorway, watching the two of them leave. 

"Just remind me to put it back on before we get back" Yixing said, getting into the passengers side of the car and waving goodbye to the headmasters wife and waited until they were around the corner when he finally took it of. It was official, sports had overtaken maths as being the subject he hated the most!

Upon his arrival to school, Jongin and Kyungsoo were stood in the car park waiting for him. The two hadn't seen Yixing in over a week and they missed him! When they saw the headmasters car roll in, they ran over and when they saw Yixing wanted to hug him but stopped themselves when they saw the bruise he had. 
"I feel like the world's lamest superhero" was the first thing Yixing said, holding up his mask and making the other two laugh before they made their way inside.

"Well you didn't miss much" Kyungsoo began when Yixing had asked him and Jongin to fill him in on everything that heppened last week 
"Inguk did get three days worth of detentions for being reckless and throwing the ball at you when you weren't looking" he continued and Yixing nodded, serves him right! 

"Also science was really boring because Mr Kim was away for Thursday and Friday" he finished 
"Aren't you ever going to call him Joonmyeon?" Jongin asked 
"Nope. He's a teacher... it feels weird calling a teacher by their first name anyway" Kyungsoo replied 
"But Yixing does" Jongin said.

"Don't drag me into this" Yixing replied, walking down the hall and laughing at the other two bickering behind him 
"I get what you're talking about Jongin but Yixing doesn't call headmaster Park by his first name" Kyungsoo said
"That is very true" Yixing added and Jongin sighed 
"Whatever" he muttered and walked down the hall with a pout on his lips. 

Walking through the hall, Yixing could see and feel people staring at him. Well wouldn't you stare at him if you saw him just casually walking through the hall with a massive bruise on his nose and a mask in his hand? Yixing ignored them, what was the point in commenting towards the people staring at him? It wasn't worth it. This was the complete opposite of Jongin. 

On a scale of Yixing to Jongin, if people were staring at you as you walked down the hall, picked on you for being homoual or pissed you of because people we're constantly picking on your friend are you; 

A) Yixing who ignores them and says nothing to them because he knows he's better than them

B) Kyungsoo who, even if he says the bullies and the stares don't bother him, they really do and have been ever since the taunts began or 

C) Jongin who- 

"Hey!" Jongin shouted when someone walked by and knocked Kyungsoo's books out of his arms, laughing as they walked away 
"Ignore them" Kyungsoo muttered as Yixing and Jongin helped him gather his stuff 
"But they're always doing this to you! Doesn't this bother you at all?" Jongin asked angrily 
"You learn to live with it" Kyungsoo replied 'But it hurts me everytime'.

With Kyungsoo's book of the floor and back with their rightful owner, the three began their journey once again to their home room, upon doing so they saw Joonmyeon walking in the opposite direction. He was back! But something seemed... of about him... When Joonmyeon looked up from his papers and saw Yixing he smiled and little and walked over to him 
"How's your nose?" he asked. 

"Sore, bruised and broken but I'll survive" Yixing replied and Joonmyeon nodded
"If it's not too much to ask, can you see me after school so I can speak to you on what you missed?" he asked and Yixing nodded. Usually Joonmyeon would have smiled and said to Yixing that he'll see him then. But not this morning. Instead, he just nodded back and continued on his way down the hall. 

"Is it just me or does he seem different today?" Kyungsoo asked 
"I thought exactly the same" Yixing replied 
"It's weird" Jongin finished and the three of them watched Joonmyeon as he turned the corner before they started their walk once again, eventually getting into an argument about who was the best football team around.

Firstly, like the poster and background?

Secondly, I had so much fun naming this chapter!

Lastly, for my sakes, last chapter when Yixing took a baseball to the face, it was just on his nose. If I had the ball hit him on the head, I would have had him with a gash and being rushed to hospital to check for any damage. Now broken nose usually means surgery and stuff like that but Inguk, who threw the ball, is not going to be a professional so his throw is not going to be as strong or as fast as professional baseball players I assume. It was just enough to break Yixing's nose.

Branching of from that, there are cases where broken noses doesn't mean you have to have surgery. I even looked it up here to back it up. Take it from a girl who is very accidental and may have broken her nose when she was around twelve years old... *blushes* And the mask thing I was on about, voila;
