No one's POV: 

True to his word, later that day, the students were out hiking... with much nagging and whinning can I add, especially from the boys! (wimps). As for poor Yixing? He was struggling to keep up with everyone. To begin with he was perfectly fine, however as the group began climbing up the hill that never seemed to end he ended up falling back, wheezing and having to constantly use his pump. 

"Seriously guys, I'm fine" he said when Kyungsoo and Jongin tried to get him to stop so he could catch his breath
"Yixing you're wheezing too much" Kyungsoo replied 
"I'm fine" Yixing replied, taking in a deep breath before coughing 
"Come on you three" Mr Choi called out and Jongin shook his head, pointing to Yixing making Mr Choi sigh as Joonmyeon began walking over. 

"You two go ahead with everyone else, we'll catch you up" he said and Jongin and Kyungsoo took one more worried look at Yixing before they hurried back to the others and carried on their hike up the hill, Joonmyeon watching them as they walked away before turning back to Yixing.

"You alright there?" he asked
"Yeah, just give me a minute" Yixing replied, taking another puff of his pump before coughing 
"You sure? We could go back to the camp so you can rest" Joonmyeon said but Yixing shook his head
"No... I want to do this" he replied, his breathing getting better before he stood up straight and took one more deep breath. 

"Alright then, we'll just have to take it slower than everyone else" Joonmyeon said and with that the two began climbing up the hill once again, at a much slower pace than what everyone else  was going at. During their walk, the two of them started chatting to each other, mainly Joonmyeon asking Yixing if he was alright and telling him about Jeju as a whole... then it turned into one of those awkward silences... again... 

"So how was your winter holiday?" Joonmyeon asked 
"Yeah it was alright... we went out for meals and my grandparents spoilt me rotten" Yixing replied, grinning 
"How was your holiday?" he asked and Joonmyeon shrugged his shoulders 
"It was alright... could have gone better though" he replied and Yixing frowned, what did he mean by that?

And so the two continued on their little journey, the hill getting increasingly steep and Yixing having to stop again 
"I give up" he said, wheezing as Joonmyeon pulled his pump out of  Yixing's bag and handed it to the boy, patting his back 
"Shall we go back down?" he asked 
"Please" Yixing replied, the two of them pausing for a moment so Yixing could catch his breath before they started downhill.

"What would I have seen, if I went to the top?" Yixing asked 
"Well seeing as it's almost evening, you would have been able to see so far ahead of you and see the city lights" Joonmyeon began and Yixing sighed 
"Plus we would be roasting marshmallows but their loss really, I've got the marshmallows" he added and Yixing managed a smile before coughing. 

"Has your asthma always been this bad?" Joonmyeon asked and Yixing nodded
"It was worse when I was younger. I was constantly in hospital because of attacks but... you learn to live with it eventually" he replied and slowed down for a second, taking a deep breath and continuing with his walk 
"Besides, it's not that hard living with asthma. You just go to remember to bring this little bugger" he added, holding up his pump and earnt a laugh from Joonmyeon.

By the time the others had returned to camp, they were first whining when they saw Yixing and Joonmyeon stuffing their faces with the marshamllows they were suppose to eat, but this was quickly replaced with people telling the two of them the sights they saw and Jongin and Kyungsoo showing Yixing the pictures they took and telling Yixing that one day they were going to drag him up that hill if it killed the three of them, earning a laugh from the latter as they went back to their dorm. 

"Man I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight" Jongin said, climbing up to his bunk as the three of them got ready for bed 
"But we're going to be aching in the morning" Kyungsoo added before turning to Yixing 
"You alright there?" he asked him when he saw Yixing sat on his bed frowning 
"Yeah I'll be fine" he replied getting under his covers and Kyungsoo bit his lip before shaking his head and going to sleep himself. 

.....

It was around three in the morning that Kyungsoo was woken up by something in the room. Frowning, he sat up for a moment and allowed himself to properly wake up 
'What is that?' he thought to himself. Was that... wheezing? Where was that coming from? Then he heard the sound of Yixing's pump but the wheezing was still there as Kyungsoo climbed out of his bed. 

"Yixing?" he whispered but go no response apart from two more puffs and the wheezing again. Turning on the light, Kyungsoo turned to see Yixing sat up in his bed, eyes wide and the pump in his hand, trying to catch his breath but it was not happening. Sensing something was wrong, Kyungsoo tried not to panic as he went to wake Jongin up. 

"Jongin wake up" he said and nudged the guy who whined 
"Five more minutes mum" he muttered but jolted awake when Kyungsoo hit him 
"What was that for?" he asked 
"Something's wrong with Yixing" Kyungsoo replied, Jongin looking over to see the state Yixing was in as he climbed out of his bed and they both ran over to their friend. 

"What's wrong with him?" Jongin asked 
"Asthma attack?" Kyungsoo asked more than answered, wanting to calm Yixing down but didn't know how to 
"W-well what do we do?" Jongin asked 
"Got get a teacher!" Kyungsoo exclaimed and with that Jongin chucked on a pair of his trainers before running out the door. 

"Y-you're alright Yixing" Kyungsoo said, patting Yixing's back 
"Deep breaths" he added and started making some himself so Yixing copied him. 

About a minute later and Mr Choi and Joonmyeon came running in with Jongin, looking over to see Kyungsoo on the bed with Yixing, trying to calm him down as he took another puff of his pump 
"How long has it been now?" Joonmyeon asked, walking over 
"I-I don't know... a few minutes now" Kyungsoo replied as Mr Choi turned to Jongin. 

"Ring an ambulance tell them to get here A.S.A.P, I'm going to wake Miss Jung so she can keep other students away from here" he said and with that ran out of dorm, Jongin scrambling around for his phone before he was onto the emergency services.

If there was one thing Yixing didn't want, it was for him to have an asthma attack and land himself in hospital... he hated hospitals... he also didn't want Joonmyeon insisting on coming with him to the hospital. He didn't want Joonmyeon to see him freak out everytime a doctor or nurse came to check him over... he wanted to go home now... 

"How are you feeling?" Joonmyeon asked 
"Bit better" Yixing replied, his eyes closing on him 
"Tired?" to which Yixing nodded and Joonmyeon smiled 
"Go to sleep, I'll wake you up if something happens" he said and slowly Yixing fell asleep, Joonmyeon watching him before ruffling his hair and going to ring Mr Choi to give him an update of what was going on...
