No one's POV: 

For the past few days of school, Jongin was pissed off. Why? It was simple really; Kyungsoo. For the whole week, people had been taunting him, calling him names, pushing him over... and yet he wasn't doing anything about it! Yixing and Jongin kept telling him to do something or to go tell the headmaster about it, but he wouldn't! And that's what pissed Jongin off. He hated the fact that his best friend was being bullied just because he was homoual and wouldn't do anything about it or let anyone else do anything for him. 

Kyungsoo had made Jongin promise him that he wouldn't do anything. He had enough attention drawn to him as it is and didn't want anything else happening to make him stick out even more. At first, Jongin was doing pretty well in keeping his emotions under control. He was able to bite his tongue and stop anything from slipping out... well... that was until Friday arrived anyway.

"You two have your suits picked out already?" Kyungsoo asked when the subject of the ball was bought up once again and Jongin and Yixing began nagging how they were dragged out over the weekend to get their suits ready 
"You're lucky your mum hasn't dragged you out this early" Yixing said, making Kyungsoo sigh 
"Because she's had my suit ready ever since my brother finished with it" he replied and both Yixing and Jongin frowned. 

"You actually fit into the suit?" Jongin asked and Kyungsoo nodded 
"It's too long though so she's taking it somewhere nearer the time to make it the right length for me" he replied 
"Why are you going to the ball? Nobody is going to want to be within a five mile radius of you" a girl asked and walked away cackling with her friend whilst Kyungsoo sighed.

"Ignore them" he said, more to Jongin than to Yixing 
"Why do you let them trest you like that?" Jongin asked angrily 
"It's not bothering me so it shouldn't bother you either" Kyungsoo replied 
"It doesn't bother you just a little bit? Kyungsoo they keep ripping the out of you everytime and yet you sit there like a little wimp not doing anything!" Jongin said, near enough shouting. 

"Jongin" Yixing said, surprised by his outburst 
"So you think I'm just being a wimp?" Kyungsoo asked 
"I never said that"
"Yes you did, you said I was sitting here like a wimp and not doing anything" Kyungsoo replied, now glaring at Jongin who sighed and Yixing shuffled his seat back a bit. He was not about to get involved in this. 

"I didn't mean it like that" 
"You obviously did otherwise you wouldn't have said it! You may think that I don't care because I never react but you have no idea. You have no idea what I feel inside everytime someone throws an insult at me. I'm not being a wimp, I'm just hiding my emotions so I don't break down like someone who is scared stiff of entering school everyday because they'll be prosecuted of who they are... you're just obviously an idiot to realise that" and with that, he gathered his stuff up before walking out and leaving Jongin and Yixing there in their seats.

By lunchtime, Yixing couldn't take it anymore! So far today, Jongin and Kyungsoo hadn't uttered a word to each other and it was driving him crazy! He hated being the third wheel and he didn't want this going on any longer.

"So" he began trying to think of a conversation starter 
"Either of you two have a film recommendation?" he asked, only met with silence before sighing 
"Look I know you're both moody at each other, but I don't like being the third wheel in this so can we please try to make a conversation" he whined and Jongin and Kyungsoo looked at each other, Jongin opening his mouth to say something when

"Oopsie" some guy said, spilling the remainder of his lunch and drink on Kyungsoo who froze in his seat 
"What is your problem?" Jongin asked angrily, jumping out of his seat whilst Yixing jumped up to help Kyungsoo get the pieces of food off him before wrapping his blazer around the boy 
"What's your problem?" the guy asked and pushed Jongin who pushed him back. 

"Jongin please" Kyungsoo begged, getting up to stop Jongin doing something stupid 
"Why are sticking up for that ? He's nothing" the guy asked before Jongin punched him straight in the face 
"He happens to be my best friend that's why" Jongin replied and the guy looked at him wide eyes, tasting blood on his tongue 
"You son of a " he muttered before punching Jongin back and soon the two were fighting, Yixing and Kyungsoo trying to break u[ the fight but the crowd kept jeering them on. 

"What is going on here?" came a voice and crowd dispersed as Mr Cho and Joonmyeon came running in 
"Well?" Mr Cho asked and Jongin pointed to the other guy 
"He started it" he shouted as Mr Cho pointed to the two them 
"You two, headmasters office, now" and with that Joonmyeon led them out whilst Mr Cho turned to Kyungsoo and sighed. 

"Yixing, take Kyungsoo here and go get him cleaned up then go to headmaster Park's office as well" he said and Kyungsoo and Yixing were quick to avoid orders. As if this day couldn't get any worse!

So this is going to carry on into the next chapter. Then there will probably be... two more chapters of what I like to call Sulay development. After that, it's the ball and then the camping trip!! :D 

Also, loads of you are commenting on how you like how slowly I'm taking the whole relationship thing... honestly I thought you were going to hate it because I was taking too long... but I didn't want to rush it because it takes away believable factor... if you get what I mean? Anyway...
