No one's POV: 

True to his word, when the headmaster's wife found out the school was having a ball again this year, she wasted no time in getting Yixing out there trying on suits. Yixing gathered that she was more excited than other mother's, even though Yixing was not her son! It was purely because when her daughter's were at school, they hadn't had anything like this and now that there were events like this and Yixing was staying with them, she could treat him how she wanted to treat her daughters. Unfortunately for Yixing that meant getting up early in the morning on a Saturday and trying on who knows how many suits until the perfect one was found!

"Oh Miyoung" a shop assisstant began when Yixing and the headmasters wife entered the shop 
"You never told me you had a son! A handsome one at that" she added, making Yixing blush whilst the headmaster's wife laughed 
"He's not my son. He's staying with me and my husband for the year. He's actually from China" she explained 
"Oh really?" the assisstant asked, turning to Yixing. 

"What's your name?" she asked 
"Yixing" Yixing replied, bowing a little, making the assistant smile 
"So what can I do for the two of you today?" she asked 
"Well Yixing here has a ball coming up towards Christmas time. I want to get him a decent suit now so we're not rushing around last minute" the headmaster's wife explained and the assisstant nodded.

"Well then, if you two follow me, we'll get a few suits picked out for Yixing to try on and if we can find the right one today, we can get it altered so that it fits him perfectly" she said and whilst the headmaster's wife was very excited about this... Yixing was not exactly on the same level of excitement as she was. 

....

"You ready Yixing?" came a voice outside of the changing room, making Yixing sigh 
"Almost" he called back and picked up the jacket that went with the suit. This had to be the seventh suit he had tried on now and they had been in the shop for near enough over an hour now! The first suit he tried on was miles to big for him. The second suit? The opposite of that; miles to small for him! And so it went on like that with the assisstant coming back with new suits to try on each time and Yixing having to stand there whilst she and the headmaster's wife decided on whether the suit was suitable or not. 

Six out of the seven times, the suits just weren't for him. Yixing wondered in the first place why they made him try on the suits in the first place. At this moment in time he was just hoping that they would approve of this suit and not make him try on another! Walking out of the changing room and walking towards them, the two women were engaged in a conversation as to what tie Yixing should wear, if he was going to at all, failing to realise the young boy standing in front of them. 

"What do you think?" he asked, making the two of them turn to face him before their eyes widened... was that a good sign? 
"You look amazing!" the headmasters wife exclaimed, walking over to examine more closely 
"Really?" Yixing asked as the assisstant joined the two of them 
"Really. The suit fits you really nicely, we may not even have to make that many adjustments" she replied, turning Yixing so that he could face himself in the mirror. 

Looking at himself, Yixing had to admit, he looked nice! The suit actually looked nice on him and looked as if it was made just for him originally 
"Do you like it?" the headmasters wife asked and Yixing nodded as she smiled 
"Good, now turn around so I can take a picture you can send to your parents later on" she said and Yixing sighed, handing her his phone and smiling for a picture.

Walking out of the changing room, Yixing could hear laughing and wondered what the heck was going on before he saw Jongin walk in 
"Not you too" was the first thing Jongin said when he saw Yixing there holding his suit 
"Afraid so, only just found mine!" Yixing replied 
"How long were you in there for?" Jongin asked 
"Over an hour" Yixing replied and laughed when Jongin groaned and his mum walked in, pushing him into a cubicle.

With the suit paid for and sent of to make the alterations that were needed, Yixing thought that the two of them were able to go home now and Yixing could try to get online and speak to his friend back in China... but nope! The headmasters wife had decided to get the rest of her shopping done and drag Yixing along with her to help her out. 
'Brilliant' Yixing thought and inwardly groaned when he was dragged into the mall... why couldn't he be left alone to be lazy?

....

"What do you want for dinner tonight?" the headmaster's wife asked and Yixing was about to shrug his shoulders before an idea popped into his head 
"I could cook you something from China" he said 
"Really?"
"Yeah! Whatever ingrediants aren't sold here from China we can substitute" Yixing replied excitedly and the headmasters wife smiled before she allowed herself to be dragged into the shop. 

"Right, if you go find the vegetables I told you about on the way here, I'll go get the other stuff and we'll meet at the check-out" Yixing said and the headmaster's wife nodded before they went their separate ways. Walking through the shop... Yixing had no idea where we was going! He had never been there before and was now like a lost child half his age
"Excellent" he muttered to himself, turning around to go to the check out when...

"Yixing?" Joonmyeon asked, making Yixing jump 
"Hello" he said out of reflex, making Joonmyeon frown 
"What are you doing here?" he asked 
"W-well I was in here with Miyoung, the headmasters wife, finding ingrediants for as Chinese dish I'm making tonight but I'm kind of... lost" Yixing explained, blushing a little. 

"Lost?" Joonmyeon asked 
"Yes, lost, I haven't been here before so I have no idea where anything is" Yixing replied 
"What ingrediants are you looking for?" Joonmyeon asked and Yixing relayed the list he made when he first came into the shop 
"Follow me" he said and began leading Yixing around the shop.

"So what are you doing here?" Yixing asked, following Joonmyeon around the shop 
"Well I was visiting Soojung and just dropped her outside the mall to be picked up" Joonmyeon replied 
"Soojung?" Yixing asked and for some reason, felt a hint of something inside of him but didn't know what it was 
"My cousin" Joonmyeon replied, handing Yixing over a pack of noodles, their fingers grazing each other. 

This time, Yixing also felt something in the pit of his stomach, but he didn't know what it was, shaking his head to keep his thoughts away and thanked Joonmyeon 
"So what were you doing today that bought you here?" Joonmyeon asked 
"Trying on suits for the ball" Yixing replied. 

"I thought that wasn't until December?" Joonmyeon asked 
"Oh I know that" Yixing replied, making Joonmyeon laugh 
"Found a suit then?" he asked 
"In the end. Just as I was leaving, Jongin was entering" Yixing replied and Joonmyeon smiled. 

"I've never been to a ball before" he said 
"Really?" Yixing asked and Joonmyeon nodded his head 
"I was one of those geeks who decided to stay home and read from books instead" he replied 
"Well then, this year you can enjoy yourself" Yixing said and Joonmyeon shook his head, handing Yixing another ingrediant.

"More like dress up nicely and yet come along to make sure students don't get up to any... funny business" he replied, making a face that made Yixing laugh, at least they were properly speaking to each other again. Walking around the shop, Joonmyeon was able to find everything that Yixing needed and led him to the check out where the headmaster's wife was waiting 
"See you on Monday" was the last thing Joonmyeon said, watching Yixing before he left himself...

Throughout this whole chapter Justin Timberlake's song was in my head and I've been listening to it non stop!! D: 

It also didn't help that earlier when watching Spongebob there was a character called Shiny, son of Bubblr buddy (I kid you not) and I kept making refrences nobody understood!

Finally!! The chapter for the ball is planned out and I am so freaking excited to write it :D :D But it's not going to happen just yet!
