No one's POV:

As soon as Yixing saw Joonmyeon, he just stopped in his steps. He froze. Why was Joonmyeon here? He had left the school so why was he here now?
"What are you doing here?" Yixing asked and Joonmyeon dropped his gaze to the floor before sighing 
"We... we were caught Yixing" he said and said guy knew exactly what he meant. How could they have been caught? They were being really careful, especially when they spent their weekends together... right? 

"H-how?" he asked 
"I guess we weren't careful enough" Joonmyeon replied, looking up to look Yixing in the eyes 
"Which is why I'm here now" he added and Yixing frowned 
"What do you mean?" he asked and Joonmyeon sighed 
"I'm here to say goodbye".

Goodbye? When a person says goodbye, doesn't that usually mean that they're going away for a while? That they're leaving?
"Goodbye? You're leaving me?" Yixing asked and Joonmyeon nodded 
"You can't!" Yixing exclaimed 
"But I have to" Joonmyeon replied as Yixing gave him the most pitiful look he thinks he's ever seen on anyone. 

"Why?"
"When the headmaster spoke to me, about us, in his office... basically if it was any other student he would have had to get the police involved because relationships between students and teachers are forbidden. But he cares about you a lot and didn't want any hassle from the police so gave me an ultimatum; leave and he'll transfer me to a new school with no police getting involved and nobody else finds out, or stay... and risk having your life ruined as well as mine" Joonmyeon explained. 

"But I don't want you to leave" Yixing muttered and burried his face in Joonmyeon's chest whilst Joonmyeon wrapped his arms around Yixing, the two of them staying like this for just over a minute before Yixing began crying. 

"Hey... don't start this" Joonmyeon said, pulling Yixing off of him so he could wipe the boys tears away. Even as he was doing this, Joonmyeon could feel the tears welling in his eyes 
"But I don't wan't you to go" Yixing replied 
"I know... but I have to" and this was not what Yixing wanted to hear. 

"But remember what I told you" Joonmyeon began and managed a smile 
"Things will get better eventually. Everything will work out for you. You're a smart boy and trust me, your parents will come to accept you eventually" he finished, kissing Yixing's hand as he turned to leave but Yixing grabbed his hand to stop him. 

"Yixing please" he said, turning back to the boy who was crying once again 
"I l-love you" he said and threw himself into a hug whilst Joonmyeon bit his lip to stop himself from crying 
"I... I know" he replied, the sentence ending differently to how it was in his mind as he pulled Yixing off of him, kissed his forehead and finally left, not looking back. 

When the door closed, the headmaster and his wife walked out of the kitchen and saw Yixing standing in the hallway with his gaze to the floor. The headmaster opened his mouth to say something, but Yixing had beat him to it 
"I'm going to my room... don't... just leave me alone for a while" and with that walked up to his room, shutting the door before pausing as everything that happened finally hit him and he slid to the floor crying.

"J-Joonmyeon?" 
"Hey Chanyeol" Joonmyeon said with a smile whilst his friend frowned 
"How come you never told me you were coming to visit?" he asked 
"Because I'm not staying here for long, I'm on the move again soon... I just came here to ask of something" Joonmyeon replied as Chanyeol let him into the house.

"What do you need?" he asked 
"The last time you came to Seoul... I think you took the key to the gate back with you" Joonmyeon replied and Chanyeol frowned before he nodded and walked away to the living room before returning with the key in his hand 
"Yeah sorry about that" he said, handing the key over to Joonmyeon who placed the key in an envelope before sealing it. 

"Who's the letter for?" Chanyeol asked 
"It's for someone very special I left behind in Seoul" Joonmyeon replied, making his friend frown but he didn't ask him to elaborate. If Joonmyeon left his explanation at that, then Chanyeol wouldn't ask for more, he knew Joonmyeon well enough to realise that. 

"Is someone here?" came a voice from the kitchen 
"Yeah, Joonmyeon" Chanyeol replied and a few seconds later, his partner poked their head around the corner and smiled when they saw Joonmyeon 
"Hello! Do you want to stay for food? It's curry night!" they asked and Joonmyeon shook his head 
"No thank you, I was just about to leave" he replied and Chanyeol's partner nodded before returning to the kitchen. 

"Where are heading of to?" Chanyeol asked 
"Jeju Island... although I think I'll be off travelling soon to clear my head" Joonmyeon replied 
"Where will you go?"
"Wherever I decide to go... I'll keep you posted as to where" Joonmyeon replied and Chanyeol nodded, the two of them hugging each other with a goodbye before Joonmyeon left.

"Come in" Yixing muttered as the headmaster walked into the room to find Yixing staring at the ceiling. For the past hour since he finished crying, Yixing just laid in his bed, thinking and blaming himself. If he had just left Joonmyeon alone that time he pushed him away after Yixing had kissed him, they would have gotten into this mess. He felt like such an idiot... 

"Your parents are on the phone" the headmaster said and Yixing was about to tell him that he didn't want to speak to then. But then he remembered what Joonmyeon had told him; things were bound to get better between Yixing and his parents, in order for that to happen, he had to speak to them. 

"Coming" he muttered and climbed out of bed 
"Yixing... I'm sorry... for earlier" the headmaster said and Yixing shook his head 
"You had to do what you had to do" he replied and the headmaster nodded his head before speaking again. 

"Later on... my wife and I were thinking of going out for the evening to try out this new restaurant in town, you're welcome to join us" he said, Yixing pausing before nodding 
"Sure" he replied and went to go speak to his parents. To start over without Joonmyeon by his side. 

*everyone reading this chapter* OH MY GOD HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO US?!?!? D: 

You guys knew this was coming!! And I apologise for it... but it had to happen!

Plus, two more chapters and this is ending I'm afraid :(
