Taeyeon continued to follow the group but making sure that she wouldn’t be seen. She knows that it was really the same guy but she wanted to make sure still. The more she looks at him, the more that the pent-up anger in her rises. The glass of water in her hand was long abandoned on an empty table she passed by and her hands were now clenched in fists.

She continued following them – who kept going in circles, walking back and forth – until they went towards the back door.

She kept herself hidden from their sight as she listened to their conversations, trying to see if she can get anything out of them. She doesn’t even know why she asked one of the employees if she could borrow his phone as she passed by him while following them. She was just glad it was someone she knew from back then.

She had the audio recorder on and sneakily placed the phone on top of stacked boxes to the right of the cracked open door.

“Seriously, hyung, what are we doing here? This place is kind of boring tonight,” the tallest guy said.

The person that was addressed to as hyung just laughed.

“Let’s just go drink somewhere else. This seems like a private party.”

“We are staying until I’m satisfied. Just a little bit more.” He took out a cigarette stick and lit it. “This place…this place had been one of the most memorable one to me.” He snickered. “The night when I finally won over that bastard.”

He was now frowning, eyes burning with anger. He’s always been known to be very competitive but his downfall had always been his own self too. He couldn’t compete academically and that he has long admitted, but in other things that he couldn’t accept – especially when that one girl he had always had his eyes on kept on rejecting him and chose his “enemy” over.

He got caught so many times doing illegal things in school and outside and once or twice he knew who reported him. Always the uptight, righteous one as he refers to.

He flicked the cigarette that he just finished and stepped on it rather a bit too aggressively. He grinned before asking them, "You really don't have any idea what happened here a few years ago?"

They just shook their heads, clueless as to what he was talking about.

"Well, maybe you should go and try doing a research." He lighted another cigarette before speaking again. "You're just going to admire me even more." He laughed.

Taeyeon was clenching her fists but continued to remain quiet in her place. She just moved and hid when he saw them finally moving towards the door. She followed them with her eyes before picking up the cellphone and stopped the recording. She then continued to trail behind them.

When she saw that they stopped walking and seemed like they're about to get a drink from the bar, she stood still and tried to look as if she's busy with the phone. She looked up when someone bumped into her. It was him. He snickered at her. She clenched her jaw and moved away but never too far.

The group had a few drinks and they finally walked towards the entrance. Taeyeon saw this as her chance so she followed them and as soon as his foot stepped outside, she briskly walked towards him and tapped him on his shoulder.

He looked back and recognized her as the girl he bumped into earlier. "Oh, what do we have here? Missy, you need anything?"

She didn't say anything. She just looked at him through her mask, both hands clenched in to fists.

"Look, if you're waiting for me to apologize about me bumping into you, you're just wasting your time." He laughed, and the guys around him followed suit. "Or maybe you want something else." He smirked.

That was it. Taeyeon charged at him and punched him straight into his face with her free hand. His nose started bleeding. The other guys were about to hold Taeyeon but they were stopped by him. He chuckled. "Don't. Let her be." He looked at Taeyeon as he wiped his nose. "Aren't you a feisty, little one?" He was about to touch Taeyeon's face but her reflex was faster than him. She took hold of his wrist and gave him another punch.

This time, the guys who were cheering and laughing earlier were now shouting a bit too loud that it caught the attention of the people inside the club.

He laughed but it was empty and chilling. He pushed Taeyeon and he heard her mutter, "That was for me."

"What did you just say?"

"And this one's for him," she muttered.

She was about to hit him again but this time he caught her arm. Then a hand landed on Taeyeon's face. Loud gasps were heard from the crowd, cellphones were out capturing the scene.

-----

"What are you doing?" Hyoyeon yelled through the crowd. "Where's the security at?"

The guys started running away from the scene, leaving him behind. The security was suddenly all over him.

Hyoyeon was mumbling angrily at her security and how they could let this happen. It's not just the publicity that she's worried about, it's Taeyeon. She looked behind her and saw Sunny and Sooyoung trying to shield Tiffany but as soon as they saw Taeyeon got backhanded, Tiffany took the chance to squirm away and follow Hyoyeon towards Taeyeon.

But, she suddenly stopped on her tracks when she saw who it was. Her jaw dropped and tears instantly fell from her eyes. Her whole body started to shake and her feet started to move her backwards until her back hit the wall.

Taeyeon was going to charge back. "I'm not done with you!"

"Taeng, stop!"

He grinned. "Let me go! See, it's that feisty little one who started all of this. I just gave her what she wanted and what she deserved."

"What are you still doing? Go take him away." Hyoyeon hissed angrily.

Sunny and Sooyoung were now holding Taeyeon, making sure she won't run after the guy. They are still shocked about what happened and why Taeyeon just ticked off like that.

"Sunkyu, bring them home. I'll just fix it here and follow you guys." Hyoyeon whispered to Sunny. "Don't let her get out of your sight."

Hyoyeon started doing damage control and noticed that Tiffany was standing at a corner, cowering in fear. "Oh my god. Tiffany, what are you doing there? Are you okay?"

Taeyeon heard Tiffany's name and she was brought back from her dazed and angry state to reality. She took Sunny's arms away from her and ran towards Tiffany. "Oh gosh. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. You shouldn't have seen that."

Taeyeon hugged Tiffany tightly and started walking. "I need the car. Now!"

"It's right here, Taeng."

"Can you please leave us alone for a while? Can you get a ride home
