“Well, well, well. Finally, you decided to show up this time, Kim. You know we don’t like to be left hanging and waiting, right?”

The man that was standing, frozen by the door, swallowed rather nervously. “Y-yeah. Sorry about that. I think that you are aware of what’s going on with my company.”

The man who greeted him spoke up again. “Of course we know. We know everything, you know that too, right? Besides, that’s why we are here. To help you out.”

From standing by the door, he walked towards the chair across the other man and took a seat. “Help me out?” he scoffed.

The other man smirked, but his eyes were piercing. “I’ll let that go for now, Kim. But, I think you should know better than that. You started all these and there’s no way you’ll be getting out of these to save your own a**.”

There was a complete silence before another man spoke up from behind.

“Are you calm now, Park? We have work to do, so you two better get your brains working instead of those mouths. There will be shipments scheduled in the next few days and these are bigger than all others we’ve had in the past. We can’t screw this up or we would all fall and will be digging our own graves, for all I know.”

The man addressed to as Park chuckled. “I know we’ve had close calls before, but we’ve always managed to get away. This will be no different with those situations so you can relax.”

“We have so much at stake here, Park. Don’t be so sure. Must I remind you that your own damn company is on the line here? Oh wait, it isn’t yours. It’s your little princess’ company.”

Park stood up and growled, glaring at the other man. “Watch your words.”

---------------

Taeyeon and Tiffany had been busy for the past few days. They went in and out of Sunny’s and Sooyoung’s offices as well as with the company. Taeyeon was already introduced to the other members of her team who have been working closely with Sunny and Yoona — who always stood to represent her every time. The same thing was done for Tiffany, but on her side it was Juhyun whom Taeyeon, Sunny and Yoona entrusted the team to while they were on a search for Tiffany.

Right now, both sides were still located at different company buildings with employees still not aware of the soon move to the newly built company building that will be finished rather earlier than expected.

Setting the company aside for a couple of days, which Taeyeon asked for, the couple is now in a mission to find their own home.

The two were having breakfast, with Taeyeon still half-awake – well, more like sleeping still – while being fed by Tiffany.

“You are such a big baby.” Tiffany said as she giggles after feeding Taeyeon with spoonful of cereal. Taeyeon just nodded before leaning her head on Tiffany’s shoulder, chewing her food lazily.

“Let’s go back to bed.” Taeyeon mumbled as she lifted both her legs and feet only to put it to rest on top of Tiffany’s lap as she turns her body a little so she could wrap her arms around the latter. Tiffany had to wrap her other arm around her to support her back.

Tiffany chuckled. “Why are you being like this today?”

Taeyeon shook her head. “Bed. Sleep. Us.”

Tiffany put the spoon down and fixed Taeyeon’s bangs before giving her a light kiss on the tip of her nose. “Alright. Stay here. Let me just clean this up and we’ll go back to bed.”

Tiffany stood up after taking down Taeyeon’s legs off of her and unwrapped the latter’s arms that were around her. Taeyeon whined and sulked, with eyes closed still.

Tiffany went on to put away the breakfast she prepared that has gone cold and pulled Taeyeon who was clinging to her like a baby.

As soon as they reached their bedroom, Tiffany kicked the door close as Taeyeon found a way to wrap her legs around Tiffany’s waist and arms around her neck, head resting at the crook of the latter’s neck.

“Oh my gosh, Kim Taeyeon. What are you? A baby?” Tiffany exclaimed as she tried to balance herself while Taeyeon was clinging on to her. “What has gotten into you?”

Taeyeon mumbled something incoherent making Tiffany to just shake her head and chuckle.

“Okay, big baby. You can let go now.”

“No!” Taeyeon tightened her hold on Tiffany.

“Y-yah! Stop it. You’re choking me. Aish.” She tried to loosen up the arms around her neck while trying to keep her balance but wasn’t successful enough to do so and she fell backwards on the bed. “Ugh. Yah, Kim Taeyeon! At least let me adjust and lay down properly.”

Taeyeon finally released Tiffany, opening her eyes slightly only to look for the latter’s hand and pulled her with her as she crawled on their bed to get under the covers.

“Are you really that tired?”

Taeyeon just hummed in reply.

Tiffany stood up, ignoring Taeyeon’s protests and whining, and walked towards the windows and closed the blinds to block the light from the sun to come in. As soon as she went back to bed, Taeyeon was all over her again. About half of the latter’s body was resting on top of hers. It’s not like she minds at all.

Honestly, she likes it. She likes how Taeyeon loves to be in her arms. She likes it whenever she can feel her own heart beating against Taeyeon’s. She likes it when Taeyeon would always nuzzle against her neck even when asleep. She loves it whenever Taeyeon would sleep talk and she would hear her say her name with a small smile in her face. She loves it when they’re skin to skin. She just loves her. Everything about her.

Tiffany wrapped an arm around Taeyeon as her free hand was her hair.

“I love you, my angel.”

Tiffany heard Taeyeon’s mumbled words and couldn’t help but smile widely. “I love you too. Very much,” she whispered back.

She continued to her hair, sometimes twirling a few strands around her finger until she felt that her breathing has become even and relaxed.

“You must have been really tired. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to wait up for you. I told you, you should have just let me go with you so you didn’t have to do all the work. I’m sorry, Taetae.”

Tiffany went on and on in telling Taeyeon about her day even though she knows that she was already asleep. Somehow, even in her sleep, it seems like Taeyeon was still listening to her and responding even – she would feel a light squeeze as if reassuring her or telling her that she’s listening, that she’s there with her.

It took a while before Tiffany joined Taeyeon in her sleep.

In the silence that surrounded the room, two bodies were tangled, holding on to each other with tranquil expression drawn in their faces.

---------------

Sunny was enjoying her day off as well, just lounging in her apartment, bumming around with her – in her own words – favorite person in the world.

They’re currently all cuddled up on her couch, covered in a blanket, watching reruns of random TV shows when her phone disturbed their peaceful day. She groaned and huffed as she hesitantly reached for the phone that was on the coffee table.

Without looking at the name of the caller, she answered it.

“Hello?”

“Yah! Sunkyu!”

“Who is this?” She muttered.

“What the? It’s Yuri!”

“Oh, hey there Yul,” she greeted lazily.

“Wow. Way to be excited talking to me.”

“Sure, kkabYul. What’s up? This better be good because you’re actually disturbing me from my peaceful day.”

She heard Yuri huffing from the other side of the line. “Fine. Geez. And here I thought you miss me too. Anyway, have you heard from Taeng?”

“You’re calling me because you wanted to ask about Taeyeon?! Why didn’t you just call her?!”

“Well… Kinda.” Yuri chuckled. “But, I did try calling her but she’s not answering and I’m worried that’s why I called you.”

Sunny sighed as she played with the fingers of her company with her free hand. “I bet she’s okay. She’s probably too occupied or sleeping in. I talked to her a few days ago and she’s okay.”

“At least you got to talk to her. If she ever contacts you, please tell her that I’m hunting her down and we need to talk. By the way, I think you might know Tiffany. Do you?”

Sunny bit her lower lip; she’s nervous suddenly. “Uhm yeah. Taeng mentioned her to me a few times. And I’ve seen her already. Once.” She turned her head and saw the person who was leaning on to her, questioning her. She put a finger on her own lips, telling her company to not make any sound.

“Ah. That’s good then. Would you please also ask Taeng if she’s watching over Tiffany like she promised? And also, I might need your help in the future.”
