Tiffany huffed when she felt something hard hit her chin, waking her up. She groaned and tried to look down to see what caused her to wake up when she realized she couldn’t because she was tightly wrapped in a pair of arms and a head snuggled closely under her chin. All the drowsiness from her body left her at the cuteness that Taeyeon is.

Tiffany tried to move, carefully taking Taeyeon’s arms off of her and she held a giggle when she saw Taeyeon frowning and pouting in her sleep. Taeyeon moved and lay on her back, mouth open. After stretching her body a bit, Tiffany propped herself up, moved closer to Taeyeon and watched the latter sleep. She watched as the frown from Taeyeon’s face left and the latter’s expression turned calm.

“Taeyeon-ah, is this really happening?” Tiffany muttered as she raised her left hand and looked at the ring. She smiled at the thought of finally becoming Taeyeon’s other half but frowned when she realized that they wouldn’t be able to really get a wedding in Korea. But, she then shrugged that thought away as she focused on the sleeping girl next to her.

“My Taeyeon.” Tiffany mumbled as she let her finger trace Taeyeon’s face – from pushing Taeyeon’s bangs to the side to tracing the latter’s forehead down to her eyes, nose, cheeks and then her lips. “I can’t believe that you are mine. Like always, I still find it too surreal that I have someone like you in my life when I know that I don’t deserve anything so close to perfection that is you.” She gulped at the thought.

Tiffany looked down to Taeyeon’s hand that was also wearing a ring that is matching hers. She took it and intertwined it with hers before bringing it up, admiring it. Taeyeon moved a bit but didn’t wake up. She smiled. She brought their hands close to her lips and said, “Taeyeon-ah, I can’t wait to be yours though from the start I already am yours and yours alone.” She kissed the back of Taeyeon’s hand and also the ring that was on the latter’s finger.

After watching Taeyeon sleep a little longer, Tiffany rested her head on Taeyeon’s chest, just above where her heart is at. She closed her eyes and listened to the steady beating of Taeyeon’s heart and to her surprise; Taeyeon suddenly put an arm around her moving her closer to her. She looked up only to see Taeyeon still sleeping and she returned to her previous position.

Taeyeon stirred from her slumber. She huffed and groaned as she tried to stretch her body but she couldn’t at all. She saw Tiffany sleeping with her head rested on her chest. She smiled as she tucked the latter’s hair behind her ear and kissed the top of her head.

Taeyeon checked the time and saw that they need to get up soon if they don’t want to be late for their flight. She waited for a little while before waking Tiffany up.

“Wake up sleepy head.” Taeyeon chuckled at the sight of Tiffany’s bed hair and rubbing of eyes like a kid will do. “Very entertaining to watch you like this every morning, Miss Hwang.” Taeyeon teased.

Tiffany huffed before trying to fully open her eyes, squinting at Taeyeon. She cleared before speaking. “Look who’s to talk when she’s the one who slept on me last night.” She stuck her tongue out to Taeyeon.

Taeyeon laughed at the childish retaliation. “Well, that was a very attractive thing for you to do.” She had to laugh even harder when she saw Tiffany pouting and sulking. “Okay. Stop sulking now, please? We actually have to get going if we wanted to catch our flight and not be late.”

“We have to leave now?” Tiffany asked.

Taeyeon checked her watch again for the time before answering Tiffany’s question. “Well, we have about two hours before our plane leaves to Seoul then to our next destination.”

“And where are we going?”

“It’s still a secret. So don’t pout at me anymore because it’s not going to work.” She chortled when she saw Tiffany pouting still. She leaned forward and gave her a kiss. “Mmm. I love morning kisses.” She mumbled against Tiffany’s lips who is now smiling through the kiss.

They both pulled back, smiling. “I love it too but not your morning breath.” She laughed, clapping her hands as she ran away from Taeyeon who was now running after her, mumbling some random things about morning breath and kisses and Tiffany.

After getting ready, Taeyeon and Tiffany were now having a quiet breakfast at the balcony of their room.

Taeyeon was watching Tiffany, thinking about what just happened last night. She chuckled and blushed at the memory of her proposal. Tiffany looked at Taeyeon when she heard the latter laughing.

“What’s so funny?” Tiffany asked.

Taeyeon looked at Tiffany, blushing. “It’s nothing really. I was just thinking about last night.”

Tiffany blushed and she looked down at her hand, remembering the events of last night as well.

Taeyeon giggled. “I can’t believe I just proposed to you while I was wearing sweatpants and a hoodie. Not exactly romantic and attractive so to speak.” She chortled. “I should have at least made us both wear something better than sweatpants.”

Tiffany laughed at Taeyeon’s silliness. “I don’t mind though. It’s not about your clothes anyway. It’s about you. Just you. And your heart.” She smiled warmly at Taeyeon who was stopped from laughing by Tiffany’s words.

“You know that you have my heart. All of it is yours and only yours, Fany.”

“I know. And, I am very lucky because there are other people who deserve you better than I do but you chose me.” Tiffany’s insecurities could be seen in her eyes and Taeyeon can’t help but feel her heart break for Tiffany.

Taeyeon reached for Tiffany’s hand and gave it a light kiss. “That’s not true. I don’t think I could ever love anyone the way that I love you. No. Erase that. I know and I am sure that I could never ever love anyone like this at all. You’re the one who taught me to love, Fany-ah. Please don’t think that way, that I deserve better or what.” She cupped Tiffany’s face as she saw the glistening eyes. “Please don’t cry. We should celebrate our engagement. Be happy, right?”

Tiffany held those hands that were cupping her face and nodded. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to ruin the mood. It’s just that, I guess I still just couldn’t believe it that I found the person I wanna be with for the rest of my life. I love you, Taeyeon-ah. More than life itself, more than my own life.”

Yuri and Jessica were back in LA for couple days now but they haven’t met their parents yet. As curious as they were as what the real deal is for asking them to come home immediately after their vacation, they were just too tired.

Yuri’s phone was ringing while she was in the bathroom so Jessica answered it for her without even looking at who was calling.

“Hello?”

“Hello? Yuri?” The person from the other line answered.

“Uhm, no. This is Jessica.”

“Ah. Jessica, honey, is Yuri there?” It was Yuri’s mom.

“Oh. Umma, sorry. I didn’t recognize your voice.” Jessica face palmed herself. “She is here but she’s taking a shower right now. Is there anything you need umma? I can tell her when she’s done.”

“Well, actually we need to see the both of you. I know you guys might be adjusting yourselves again but this is kind of an important matter that we all need to act upon as soon as possible. Can you guys make it to dinner or lunch tomorrow?”

Jessica frowned. “Yes, umma. We’ll be there. Is there something wrong?”

“We’ll talk about it tomorrow okay? Your parents will be joining us as well. See you tomorrow.”

The call ended and Jessica was staring at the phone with furrowed eyebrows, thinking about what could be so important that they needed to talk to the both of them.

Yuri joined her on the couch, placing an arm around Jessica and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Yuri looked at the girl beside her when she didn’t receive any reaction at all. “Sica, what’s wrong?”

Jessica was taken out of her thoughts by Yuri’s voice. “Huh? Oh nothing. Umma called and she said they wanted us to meet them for lunch or dinner tomorrow and that there is something they need to talk about something important with us but she wouldn’t tell me what it is.” She looked at Yuri with a puzzled look.

Yuri sighed. “I’ve been thinking about it, too. But I really don’t have any idea too. We should probably go meet them tomorrow then so we can clear this one out. Okay?”

Jessica nodded and she let Yuri pull her in her arms as they continued their night with a movie.

Taeyeon and Tiffany were walking hand in hand at the airport as they look for the right gate to their next plane.

After an hour flight from Jeju, Taeyeon guided Tiffany around the airport, not answering any of the latter’s questions.

“Aha! There it is. Finally!” Taeyeon exclaimed as soon as she saw where they would be boarding soon enough. “We’re right on time.” Taeyeon dragged Tiffany as they boarded the plane.

Taeyeon got their selves first class tickets. As soon as they got seated, Taeyeon mentally praised herself. She put the arm rest between her seat and Tiffany’s up and pulled the quiet latter close to her. “You might want to rest for a while. It’ll be a while until we get to New York.” She whispered as she nuzzled against Tiffany’s hair.

“New York?” Tiffany looked at Taeyeon with somehow fear in her eyes.

Taeyeon looked and met Tiffany’s eyes and saw the fear on it. She knew why. “Don’t worry. We’ll be far from him, them. And we really won’t be staying there for too long. We would just have to do something really important before fly out again.”

Taeyeon felt Tiffany hugging her tighter. “It’s okay. You don’t have to worry and you don’t have to be scared. I won’t let anything happen to you.” Taeyeon kissed Tiffany’s hair and she felt the latter relax in her arms.

“Thank you. I love you.” Tiffany mumbled.
