They Don't Know About Us

Yuri has her head resting on Jessica's lap while she plays with the latter's hand, kissing it a few times. Jessica was looking down at Yuri lovingly, her hair.

"Sica, where do you want to go tomorrow?" asked Yuri.

"Hmmm. Do you have anywhere you want to go to first tomorrow, seobang?"

"Not really. But, I was hoping I could choose where we'll have dinner tomorrow though." Yuri answered.

"Sure. I don't have anything in particular in mind. I just really wanted to be with you, no work to worry about and other distractions. Just the two of us. We could even just laze around here in our room and I'll still be fine with it."

Yuri looked up to look Jessica in the eyes. She reached up and cupped Jessica's face. "You and your simplicity."

Jessica gave Yuri her toothless smile. "What are you talking about now?"

"Nothing. Hmmm, maybe we should go for a river cruise on Thames, have dinner there and then we could ride the London Eye afterwards."

"If that's what you want, seobang. I want this trip to be all about you this time. I owe you a lot. You've done so much for me that I feel like I haven't done enough to give back to you."

"Hey. It's not like that. I'm not waiting for anything in return, okay? I do what I do because I want to. I chose to. And I am not complaining too. We are not counting who did the most for who and this and that. Just having you by my side is enough."

"You and your sweet tongue." Jessica then leaned down and gave Yuri a chaste kiss.

Yuri and Jessica continued to chat in that position before they both turned in to night.

Taeyeon and Tiffany sat in class like nothing happened few days ago. They acted like they do not know each other; that it was just like a random outburst and act of kindness from Taeyeon.

Though, it didn't go unnoticed from both their eyes how people always swarm the other that it is making them feel something they think they've never felt before.

"Hi, Taeyeon. Lunch on me today." A girl from their class said as she sat on Taeyeon's desk.

Tiffany was watching from the corner of her eyes, as she made herself look as if she's busy reading her book while guys are trying to get her attention as well. Tiffany clenched her jaws as she kept mumbling randomly in her head, sending deadly daggers through her gaze to the girl.

Taeyeon, on the other hand, has her fists clenched tightly as she watched and stole glances over Tiffany's direction. She heaved a sigh of relief when she saw Tiffany not paying attention but that still didn't stop her from feeling furious.

"Leave me alone. And no, I won't go to lunch with you." Taeyeon said coldly. She never really wanted such attention in the first place.

"You will agree. One day." The girl said before leaving Taeyeon alone only to be replaced by a guy who placed a bouquet of roses and a box of chocolates onher desk.

"What's this?" asked Taeyeon.

"Flowers and chocolates." The guy said.

"I know that, idiot. Will you please take it off of my desk? I don't want it."

"Oh come on, Taeyeon. Stop playing hard to get now, will you?"

Taeyeon glared at him and shoved the flowers off of her desk and took the box of chocolates and gave it to the nearest girl standing close by her.

Tiffany was still quietly and angrily watching. She doesn't know why but she's not liking it one bit, seeing people getting that close to her Taeyeon. Yes. Her Taeyeon.

As for Taeyeon, you could say the same thing. She doesn't like it when people are getting too close to her liking to her Tiffany. Her Tiffany.

It has been like that for days and each day that passes by, what they both feel seemed to only have gotten worse each time.

As their class finally started, both Tiffany and Taeyeon spent the entire time and day in a bad mood. The usual stolen glances were barely there and the supposed comfortable silence they always shared was filled with tension that has been lingering for days.

They went their separate ways without even looking at each other after their shared class.

To: Yeppeuni

I'll drive you home after your classes.

You don't have to if you are busy. I can manage.

To: Yeppeuni

I'm taking you home and that is it, ok? I'll wait for you at the usual spot.

Tiffany replied curtly, making it just even worse for them both.

True to her words, Taeyeon was already waiting for Tiffany in her car. Tiffany silently approached and got in without a word. She just glanced briefly over Taeyeon's side and buckled herself up before turning her gaze outside the window.

Taeyeon sighed inwardly, not liking the atmosphere one bit. Though, she couldn't also erase the images of the past few days from her head. She knows it wasn't Tiffany's fault but she was also afraid that she might lash it all onto her. And that was the last thing she would want to do.

The drive was quiet. No one dared to talk at all. And the time seemed to have dragged longer than usual. Upon arrival at their sweet, little home, Tiffany silently and reluctantly unbuckled her seatbelt and muttered a goodbye, almost inaudible, before getting off of the car and inside their home.

Taeyeon frustratedly hit the steering wheel before trying to compose herself. She followed Tiffany inside.

"What's wrong?" Taeyeon asked as Tiffany went straight to the kitchen to get herself a drink.

"Nothing." Tiffany replied which came out rather coldly.

"It is not nothing. If it is nothing then you wouldn't be like that." Taeyeon answered back.

"Be like what? What, Taeyeon?"

"Like that." Taeyeon pointed at Tiffany.

"Just go Taeyeon. You said you have an important appointment tonight, just go." Tiffany walked past by Taeyeon, finding her way to the stairs.

"No. I am not leaving until we are done talking." That made Tiffany stop from her tracks.

"We've got nothing to talk about."

"I beg to differ."

"Then, what do you want to talk about, Taeyeon?"

"Why are you acting like this? You've been acting strange these past few days."

"I should be the one asking you that."

"What?"

"You are the one acting different. So, don't put this all on me."

"Seriously?! Well, you are the one who seems to be avoiding me. Why? Is there a problem? Did I do something to you? Or are you hiding something from me?"

"What are you trying to say?"

Slowly, they have been raising their voices as their talk became an argument that they didn't even know why they have in the first place.

"I can't do this right now. I'm late already. Don't wait up for me." With that, Taeyeon looked at Tiffany, searching her eyes, before sighing and turning her back and left.

Tiffany sighed in defeat as she slid down and sat on the step of the stairs, struggling from trying to stop her tears from falling. As for Taeyeon, she was in the same situation as Tiffany, only in her car.

The past few weeks have been rough for them and it seems like the stress, pressure and the will of them both in trying to solve everything on their own-- not wanting
