"I'm back."   All three heads turned to the voice's direction...   ——————————————— Two pairs of eyes met and locked in a gaze. Jaws dropped and their eyes widened, breath caught in their throats. To say that they were surprised and shocked is an understatement.    Couple minutes have passed and Tiffany was still standing, frozen in place, looking at Taeyeon. Jessica noticed that she wasn't moving and seems like Tiffany was spacing out. "Tiff! Tiffany!" Jessica called out, waking Tiffany up from zoning out.   Jessica nudged Yuri who was busy playing with Jessica's hand and giggling. "Ouch!"   "Yah, seobang! Introduce the two. They look....too awkward?"    "Oh yeah. Aish. I forgot." Yuri said, standing up from her seat and approached Tiffany, wrapping an arm on the latter's shoulder.   "Tiff, this is Taengoo. My best friend. Taengoo, this is Tiffany. Our baby sister." Yuri introduced, still didn't notice the shocked expressions on Tiffany's and Taeyeon's faces because she was too busy smiling and looking at Jessica instead of the two.   Yuri smacked Taeyeon's head when she didn't hear any reactions from her. "Yah! I said this is Tiffany. Say hi you midget!" Taeyeon coughed and glared at Yuri before turning her gaze back at Tiffany.   Taeyeon stood up clumsily, almost tripping but thanks to the chair that she grabbed to help her steady herself. Tiffany giggled inwardly and thought, "Even when shocked and nervous, you are still so cute my Taeyeon ah."    "H-hello. I'm Tae-Taeyeon." Taeyeon offered her hand awkwardly, her face started to blush.   "Tiffa-Tiffany... I'm Tiffany. Nice to meet you."    Tiffany took the hand Taeyeon offered for a shake. And electric jolts traveled through their bodies as soon as their hands met. Their locked gaze is full of questions, but the warmth they felt from their hands took them away from reality.    Yuri fake coughed to get Taeyeon's and Tiffany's attention. "Shorty, you better behave." Yuri said, glaring at Taeyeon and pats her back before returning to her seat.   "Tiff, are you okay?" Jessica asked, worried.   "Oh. Uhm. Yeah. I'm okay Jessi." Tiffany answered as she took her hand back.    "Tiff, sit next to Taeyeon. We ordered for you, okay?" Jessica said, watching Tiffany closely. Tiffany nodded in response.   Tiffany sat next Taeyeon, fidgeting. "What is going on in here? Taeyeon and Yuri knows each other? Best friend? So.... So it means she's that, that person Yuri always talks about?" Tiffany thought, still trying to process what is going on right now.   "Oh gosh. I think I am going to faint anytime soon. Just what in the world did just happen?? My angel, my Totoro... My Tiffany is sitting next to me right now? Oh gosh. What is going on?" Taeyeon thought, her face starting to turn pale from anxiousness and nervousness.   "Tiff? Tiff? Tiff! Are you okay? Are you feeling sick?" Jessica asked, as she stood up going to Tiffany's side and placed a palm on the latter's forehead. "You don't have fever. Are you in pain or something?"   "Ah. Ah... N-no. I'm okay Jessi. So-sorry. Just hungry I guess" Tiffany finally answered Jessica, giving a nervous laugh.   "Seobang! Stop staring at me and look at those two. They're too awkward you know? They're probably feeling uncomfortable. You might wanna help them first?" Jessica said as she sat back down and flicked Yuri's forehead.   "Ouchhhh! Sica!! That hurts!" Yuri pouted.   Tiffany saw the whole thing and started to giggle. "Good job, Jessi!"    Jessica giggled along with Tiffany as Yuri continued to pout. "Yaaaahhh! Ouch!!!" Yuri suddenly exclaimed, earning a few eyes from the other customers.    Yuri hissed in pain as she reached for her shin. "Yah you midget! Why did you kick me?!"    "Because you look disturbing. That's why!" Taeyeon stuck her tongue out.   "Aishhh. Just accept the fact that I am cuter than you, you shorty!"   "Pffttt. You? Cute? More like weird."    Before Yuri could answer back, their food came. Taeyeon snickered but suddenly stopped and froze when she remembered that Tiffany was sitting next to her. She lowered her head as she slowly turned to her side and look at the girl next to her. She noticed that Tiffany was still fidgeting.    Yuri cleared . "So? Let's eat. Tiff, eat well okay? Taeng, eat too. I owe you this."   Both Tiffany and Taeyeon nodded at the same time. Jessica giggled at the sight of the two which only made the two blush harder.   "You two are so cute. Loosen up will you? It's not like we're gonna bite or eat you or anything." Jessica said, still giggling.   Taeyeon and Tiffany just gave Jessica and Yuri a small smile. They ate in silence until Yuri spoke again.   "Hey. You two. Stop being awkward, please? Tiff, I know you're not used to meeting new people and all but I assure you, Taeyeon here is harmless. She won't hurt you and if she ever does, she'll get it from me." Yuri giving Tiffany her charming smile and playfully glared at Taeyeon. "Don't worry, Tiff. Taeng is trustworthy. Whatever it is that she'll learn and know from you, us, whenever she's with us would be safe. Okay?"    Tiffany nodded at Yuri, her lips curving a little. "I know, Yuri. I know."   "And Taeng. Likewise, Tiff is a good friend. You don't have to be too uptight and too guarded around her. Loosen up. She's not like everyone else. She isn't." Yuri reached for Taeyeon's hand and patted it a few times.   Little did Yuri--and Jessica-- know that it isn't the problem or reason why they're acting as such. And nobody knows except the two what the real deal is.    And, whatever is happening under the table, no one knows except Taeyeon and Tiffany, too. While Yuri was talking nonstop, babbling trying to bring the mood up, Taeyeon bravely reached amd searched for Tiffany's hand. When she felt it, she felt tingling sensations all over her body and as she looked at Tiffany, she knows the latter felt it too. Soon, their pinky fingers connected. And it stayed like that until they went back to finish their dinner.   "So, Tiff. How was school? I mean it is way different from being home-schooled right?" Jessica asked, breaking the silence as the four of them sat amd drink the wine Ms. Yoo gave them earlier.   "Home-schooled?" Taeyeon blurted out which was supposed to be her thought.   "Oh yup, Taeyeon. Our Tiffany here was home-schooled since she was in second grade, I think? Right, Tiff?"    "Yes, Jessi.
