It's already past 8 and Taeyeon is feeling uneasy. Tiffany hasn't been replying to her which is odd. Then, her phone rang. Taeyeon's face lit up as she saw 'Totoro' flashing on the screen.   "Hello? Tiffany!! Are you done?" Taeyeon excitedly answered.   But, Taeyeon heard no response from the other line. "Tiffany? Tiffany!" Still no response. Taeyeon kept on calling the latter's name as she runs toward the university building, to the department where Tiffany told her she would have their group meeting at. Taeyeon just held on to the phone close to her ear when she heard the voice she was hoping to hear. And as she did, she became frozen in place as she hears the latter's voice crying, shaking in fear.   "Tiffany!!! Tiffany!"   "P-please let me go... P-please... Nooooooo...."    Taeyeon was running around the building area when she found a purse and couple books laying on the ground close to a dark alleyway that is hidden and is not easily seen. Taeyeon ran as fast as she could, muttering Tiffany's name over and over, praying and wishing that nothing bad happened to the other girl.   Through the long, narrow alley that only has the moonlight as its source of light, Taeyeon made her way wishing that she'll find Tiffany soon. And, what she saw was enough for heart to break into million pieces.   "H-help me... Some... Somebody p-p-please help me..." Tiffany quietly calls out as she has no more energy and strength to struggle and fight.   "Go on. Yell. Call out. No one is gonna come anyway and find you here." The man said who was hovering over her.   "Stop!! Who are you?!" Taeyeon suddenly bursts out when she got closer. Where she found the courage to speak up and ran over to the two guys abusing Tiffany, she herself doesn't know. Thanking the self-defense lessons and mixed martial arts she knows, Taeyeon continued to run as fast as she could to catch the two guys. One of the guys ran away and the other one just snickered.   "Brave enough huh, little girl?" The guy said as he pulled hisself up away from Tiffany's body. Taeyeon's eyes widened when she saw Tiffany's state.    Tiffany was on the floor, now curled up like a ball. Her shirt was ripped, hands tied at the back, exposed chest, jeans pulled down to her ankles. Tiffany's cheek bruised with visible handprints, stomach bruised as well.   Anger flickered in Taeyeon's eyes as she charged over to the guy mocking over her. The guy stumbled backwards after Taeyeon hit him had. They both hissed in pain. Taeyeon then realized the guy was drunk. Taeyeon took advantage and tried her best to hit the guy as much as she could. She hit him over and over as he dropped down to the floor.    "How. Dare. You." Taeyeon said, punching the guy on the face before taking the ski mask he was wearing.    Scared for his identity to be revealed, the guy dodged and gathered the last of his strength and pushed Taeyeon off of him and ran away, limping and holding the ski mask.   Taeyeon was about to run after him when she heard Tiffany's whimpering and mutterings. In the now deserted, dark alley, Taeyeon  was glued to where she was standing. Her heart fell and just keeps on breaking into pieces over and over, if that is even possible.   "Tiffany..." Taeyeon softly called out.    Taeyeon dragged her feet towards Tiffany, trying her best to hold the tears in her eyes. "Be strong, Taeyeon." She thought to herself.   Taeyeon kneeled before Tiffany and reached for her face. Tiffany flinched from the contact and started to kick her legs and kept on pleading to stop touching her, to stop hitting her. Taeyeon cannot stop her tears anymore.    "Tiffany... It's me, Taeyeon. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. You're safe now I promise. I won't hurt you." Taeyeon gently said as she tried to reach for Tiffany again. Tiffany flinched and struggled out of her touch, but this time Taeyeon held Tiffany stronger, yet careful not to inflict more pain.   Taeyeon pulled Tiffany so the latter would be in a sitting position. Taeyeon reached from behind to untie Tiffany's hands while trying to wipe her own tears. Taeyeon kept on saying sorry as she helped Tiffany; Taeyeon then pulled Tiffany's jeans up and fixed it and took her jacket off and put it on Tiffany to cover her exposed upper body. When Taeyeon felt that Tiffany stopped struggling away from her, she pulled back a bit and wiped Tiffany's tears, touched the bruised cheeks before pulling Tiffany in her arms.   Rain started pouring over them but Taeyeon didn't move an inch.    "I'm so sorry I came late.
