Christmas day. And Tiffany just felt even more depressed. She loved celebrating the holidays even if it was always just her and her mom. Oh how she wished Jessica and Yuri were with her. Tiffany spent her morning and afternoon in bed, not wanting to get up at all, trying to force herself to go to sleep again and wishing that once she opens her eyes again, the holidays would be over.   But, of course, that would not happen. Late in the afternoon, she finally dragged herself off of her bed. She took a relaxing shower, then looked through her kitchen to see if she can have anything decent to cook for dinner. And she has decided to make herself a creamy chicken pesto pasta.    While preparing what she needed to start cooking, her phone rang.   "Tiff, Merry Christmas!" Jessica greeted her.   "Jessi! Merry Christmas to you too. And Yuri! Say hi to Aunt and Uncle too." She replied, trying to be as cheerful as she could.   "Oh Tiff. I miss you. Do you have any plans tonight?"   "I miss you too. I am good and I will just be here at the dorm. There's no where I wanted to go to anyways."   "Well, you should treat yourself for a good dinner or something."   "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine." Tiffany reassures Jessica.   "If you say so. I really wanted to send you something. Why won't you tell me your address or something?"   "Jessi, it's fine. And you know why right? You don't have to send or give me something. Just call me anytime and it's more than enough."   Jessica sighed. "Okay. As long as you are safe and okay then I am good too. By the way, I have to go Tiff. I'll call you again later, okay?"   "Sure, Jessi. Merry Christmas. Love you."   "Love you too Tiff. Take care!"   And the call ended. Tiffany sighed, feeling more lonely than earlier. She looked at the clock. 0630pm. She wasted half of her day already and she is now feeling hungry after skipping breakfast and lunch.   ———————————————   Taeyeon woke up early that day. Wanting to get a vacation from work, she spent most of her morning at her office, going through files and projects and finish all reports needed in the next couple weeks. And, she's enjoying the quietness of the deserted building. She prefers this than coming in with everyone in there, judging her, whispering and gossiping about her. Yes, she knows that she is the favorite gossip topic at the office. And she dislikes every bit of it.    Taeyeon drove back to her apartment in a hurry after finishing up all her work. On her way to her apartment, she decided to call her parent's house.   "Ahjumma, it's me Taeyeon. Are my parents there?"    "Miss Kim. I am sorry but your parents left last night. And, they didn't leave any instructions. Do you need anything?"   "Ah. No, I am fine." Taeyeon's short reply.   "Miss Kim, are you going to be here tonight for dinner?"   "No, ahjumma. Don't worry about me. But, please do prepare something for everyone there. My order so no buts and all."   "Yes, miss Kim. Merry Christmas, miss Kim."   "Merry Christmas. I'll get going, ahjumma. Bye."   Taeyeon ended the call, and she was caught in deep thoughts. "Well, what else is new, Kim Taeyeon?" She mumbled.   As soon as she got to her apartment, she went straight to the kitchen. She suddenly felt excited. She's going to make baked salmon with mango tomato salsa with pan fried asparagus on the side. Yes. She's making something different than her usual Korean meal every year. For a change? Maybe. She also prepared ingredients for a simple salad.   After preparing the ingredients for the salmon and such, she put it in the oven while she started preparing herself. She's ready. The food is ready. She carefully packed it and the salad and the asparagus too.
