Yoona faked cough to get the attention of the newlyweds. “Excuse me unnies, but we’re still here you know?” She said, pointing her fingers to herself, Juhyun and the photographer-slash-videographer. Yup. Yoona did hire a photographer/videographer to help her document such special day. She smiled cheekily when she saw Taeyeon narrowing her eyes on her upon seeing the other person present in the room.

Understanding what Taeyeon might be thinking, Yoona reassured Taeyeon that it won’t be a problem at all. “Don’t worry unnie. He’s a friend of ours.”

The guy raised his camera and told them to gather so he could take pictures. He took pictures of the couple with Yoona and Juhyun and a couple with the city clerk as well and a few more of just Taeyeon and Tiffany.

Yoona approached the photographer before they left the office. “Would you be able to give us a copy of some of the pictures in about two hours? Just like a gift for them before they leave tonight?” She whispered.

“Sure. No problem. Where would you like me to bring it?”

“I’ll text you the place. Thanks for coming today even in short notice.” Yoona taps his shoulder and shook his hand.

“This is nothing compared to what you and Juhyun have done to help me. I’ll bring to you the ones I’d get done later. See ya.” He bid Yoona and Juhyun goodbye and congratulated the newlyweds.

Taeyeon couldn’t help but keep on looking at Tiffany who has been smiling that eye smile she loves the most. Tiffany sensed the eyes on her and looked to her side, only to see Taeyeon smiling dreamily and dorkily at her. “Tae? Are you okay?” She asked, giggling.

“Yeah. Yeppeuni.” Taeyeon giggled at her own thoughts and words. Tiffany just shook her head and tugged at Taeyeon’s hand when she heard Yoona’s playful groaning.

“Oh come on, Taeyeon unnie. Oh my god. I can’t believe I am seeing this side of you.”

Juhyun laughed at the remark. “She looks like a dreaming zombie that is drooling.”

Yoona looked to her side with wide eyes. “Oh dear god. Are you really Juhyun? You’re not sick, are you?”

Juhyun pouted when Yoona placed a hand on her forehead. “Unnie…” She whined.

“Okay kids, enough. How about we all go out for a nice dinner?” Tiffany suggested, laughing at the three people she’s with. She suddenly missed Jessica, the only person whom she was able to lean and depend on all these years. She felt bad and guilty for not having her on her wedding day more so not even telling her about her and Taeyeon.

Taeyeon saw the change in expression on Tiffany’s face and it alarmed her. “Hey, are you okay? What’s wrong?” She reached for the furrowed eyebrows and smoothen it with her fingers.

“Oh. Yes. Sorry. I just… I just suddenly remembered Jessi.”

Taeyeon understood. She too is feeling sad and guilty for not having her best buddy, Yuri, by her side at this very important day in her life. But, right now she has no choice because she feels like she is running out of time – time is not on her side, that’s what she thinks. She was planning on renewing their vows though and that time she would make sure that all the important people in their lives would be present.

“It’s okay. I’m sorry we had to do all these without them. I promise you though, when we have our proper ceremony, they will be present. Jessica and Yuri will be there no matter what.” Taeyeon reassured Tiffany.

Tiffany nodded and squeezed the hand she was holding.

“Unnie, are you guys ready? We actually already made reservations beforehand. I hope you don’t mind?” Juhyun told them.

“Yup. Let’s go then.”

Taeyeon and Tiffany walked behind the two younger girls who were bickering. Taeyeon could hear Juhyun whining at Yoona’s teasing. And she can’t help but smile at the sight, and what more she could see Tiffany happily watching the two as well.

The dinner went perfectly well. Juhyun, who made all the reservations for tonight did really well as expected of her. From the privacy of the table she was able to acquire to the menu and even the wine, everything was absolutely perfect.

“Thank you for all these, Juhyun ah.” Taeyeon said affectionately to their maknae.

“This is nothing, unnie. I’m really happy for you.”

Then, they heard someone clearing her voice next to them and saw Yoona grinning at them. “I would like to propose a toast for our Taeyeon unnie and now also part of our family, Tiffany unnie.” She raised her glass before she continued speaking. “Taeyeon unnie, thank you for everything that you have done for me and Juhyun. I hope you know that and how grateful we are of you. We wouldn’t be where we are right now if it weren’t for you and Sunny unnie and even Yuri unnie. And we are just so happy that you finally found the one.”

Yoona’s eyes and Juhyun’s were b with tears already and before Taeyeon could speak she spoke again. “And Tiffany unnie, thank you for loving our unnie. Thank you for being there for her and for standing by her no matter how stubborn and prideful she could get at times. You can smack her in the head by all means if she ever gets in your nerves and take away all the ice cream and jellies if she gets too stubborn.” Yoona was now grinning and Juhyun was giggling together with Tiffany while Taeyeon was sulking. “And please, Taeyeon unnie, stop sulking and pouting like a five year old. It doesn’t really fit you at all.” She raised her glass once more, followed by the others. “Cheers to the beautiful life ahead of you, unnies.”

Taeyeon was beyond touched by her dongsaeng’s words. Truly, aside from her brother she had no one else but these people who took her in and treated her as their own family – something she never felt in the house she lived in most of her life.

Tiffany could see the change in Taeyeon’s eyes. There was gentleness, affection and sadness all at the same time. She took hold of one of Taeyeon’s hands and gave it a squeeze. Right now, all she wanted to do, as Taeyeon’s wife and partner for the rest of their lives is to take away that sadness and replace it with nothing but love and happiness. That would be her lifelong goal from now on – make Taeyeon happy in every way she could do so, no matter what.

Taeyeon kept checking her watch to check the time, not wanting to miss their flight, and it didn’t go unnoticed by Tiffany.

“Tae, are you okay? Do you have something important to attend to?” Tiffany asked.

Taeyeon looked at Tiffany confusedly. “Huh? What’s more important than us celebrating our wedding?” She really looked clueless and Tiffany couldn’t help but shake her head while laughing.

“But, you’ve been looking at your watch for more than ten times now within the past half hour. Are you sure you don’t have anything you needed to do or what? It’s okay with me.”

Taeyeon shook her head furiously. “No. I really don’t have anything to do aside from wanting to enjoy my first night with my wife. Sorry. I was just…it’s just my gift for you that’s why.”

“What gift?”

“Later. You will know later on.”

Their conversation was cut off when Yoona reappeared after meeting with her friend photographer outside the restaurant and Juhyun followed behind.

“Unnie, look at the pictures!” Juhyun excitedly went to them and handed the photographs to the couple. Then, Yoona sat next to Juhyun holding a framed photograph.

Taeyeon and Tiffany were going through the photos with wide smiles painted on their faces.

“Unnies…” Juhyun spoke again, getting the attention of the two. “We have a little present for you two.” She nudged Yoona and the latter grinned as she handed the framed photo.

It was a picture of Taeyeon and Tiffany sharing their first kiss as a newlywed couple. The two blushed just by looking at it earning giggles from the younger girls.

“Thank you, Yoona and Juhyun.” Tiffany muttered rather shyly.

The four continued with their conversations as they still have time to spare before leaving New York. Their talk was interrupted by Yoona’s phone ringing.

“Hello? Sunny unnie?” Yoona answered.

“Yoong! How’s everything?” Sunny answered from the other line.

Taeyeon and Tiffany watched as Yoona took the call, trying to grasp some bits of information from the conversation.

“Unnie, you should have been here! Oh my gosh. You didn’t even warn me and Juhyun about how cheesy Taeng unnie could be. I swear I thought my fingers were gonna fall off from being curled up too much.” Yoona exclaimed, earning a glare and playful punch from Taeyeon.

“Taeyeon and Tiffany are still with you?” Sunny asked, with uneasiness in her voice.

“Yes. Why? Do you need to talk to them? Hold on.” But before she can hand the phone over she heard Sunny calling her name.

“Yoong!” Yoona hummed in response. “Before you give the phone, will you please find a way to call me back as soon as we hang up after this call? Go somewhere private away from the two?”

“Unnie?” Yoona questioned, confused by Sunny’s request, and was noticed by Taeyeon.

“Is there something wrong, Yoong? Sunny?” Taeyeon asked.

“No. Tell her there’s nothing wrong. Just follow please, Yoona.” Sunny pleaded.

Yoona shook her head and grinned. “No, Taeng unnie. Sunny unnie is just playing a prank again on me but I didn’t get it.” She snickered.

“Ahhh.” Taeyeon released a sigh of relief.

Yoona finally handed the phone to Taeyeon and Sunny congratulated both Taeyeon and Tiffan
