Ryeowook looked at his watch. 1.00am. Hyungsik hyung, where are you? Ryeowook yawned and stretched wondering if he should just go to sleep. No, that would be rude… Right? As a responsible spouse, he had to take care and look out for Hyungsik even if it was just an arranged marriage. Plus, Hyungsik was his friend and he couldn’t help but worry about him. Hyungsik had called earlier and informed Ryeowook that he was going out with some of his friends but he said he would be back by midnight but an hour passed and he was still not home. Ryeowook tried calling his husband but there was no answer. Ryeowook stared into empty space as he hugged his legs to his chest, his eyes getting heavier and heavier.

Around two in the morning, Ryeowook was awoken by the sounds of a door banging. Ryeowook abruptly stood up and ran to the door to see what was going on. Hyungsik was leaning against the door, smiling lopsidedly. Ryeowook sighed. Not this again. Hyungsik winked at Ryeowook and started whistling.

“My beautiful hubby. Why aren’t you asleep yet?” Hyungsik asked in slurred voices.

“Hyung, this is the second time you came home drunk.” Ryeowook tapped his foot. “You should know better than to drink on a weekday.”

“I can’t help it, Wookie!” Hyungsik answered excitedly. “Business .”

Ryeowook smiled and helped Hyungsik up since he was already slowly falling to the ground. He hung his hands around Hyungsik’s waist and supported him into their shared bedroom. Ryeowook helped Hyungsik on the bed and took off his socks and shirt. He pulled the blanket up to Hyungsik’s chest and he watched the older male smile dreamily. Ryeowook had to admit that Hyungsik was sweet even when he was drunk. Hyungsik couldn’t stand alcohol much but because of business dealings, he had to meet clients for drinks and wine and Hyungsik would just end up drunk in a few bottles. It was cute, to say the truth. At least when Hyungsik got drunk he was a sweet and happy (and extra super romantic) drunk than an abusive, scary and mean drunk. Hyungsik groaned and closed his eyes but just before he completely fell asleep, he opened his eyes and winked at Ryeowook making the younger man blush with his goddamn drunkass sweet compliment.
