The small kitchen on board the ship was crammed with people as Lay, Taura, and Xiu Min worked to get dinner ready for the twelve people on board. The three worked together in sync with each other like a well oiled machine. Lay gathered the ingredients, Xiu Min cooked, while Taura placed everything in bowls and distributed them to the waiting line of hungry young boys.

            “Thanks Taura!”

            “Thanks princess.”

            “Thank you!”

            It was Kai’s turn to get his meal. A wide smile adorned his face while he took his food from his soon to be wife. Taura handed him his bowl just as Kai leaned in to kiss her cheek, “Thanks sweetheart.”

            The two boys with her ooh’d at the display of affection causing the girl to blush as she faced the last person to get their share. Sehun shook his head and took his food before flicking Taura’s forehead wiping the smile off her face. Taura blinked a few times staring after Sehun as he walked up to the top deck to join the other members. He glanced over his shoulder to look at the girl one more time sending her a smirk that had her heart stopping for a second. It restarted though the moment Lay placed a hand on her shoulder, “Let’s go eat too.”

            Xiu min took her other side and the three joined the rest of the group. They all sat in a large circle with a few open spots, Kai looked back at them as they came up and tapped the space next to him for Taura, which fortunately for Taura was also next to Sehun. She eyed the two men as she sat down feeling one stare at her intensely.

            “The food is good, princess. Did you help make it?” Kai spoke softly with Taura. The two sat rather close to each other, Sehun noticed.

            “No, Xiu Min and Lay did. They always make good food,” Taura stirred her vegetables thinking back, not as good as Kyungsoo’s though. She smiled down at her food, hearing Kai praise the two older sailormen for their cooking skills. Taura was glad the prince was getting along with the others. It made it easier for her to not act as the middleman for all of them.

            Taura glanced over at Sehun to see he had finished eating and was sitting stiff with his eyes closed and arms crossed. Sehun wasn’t asleep, he just didn’t want to see anything unpleasant. When he felt a hand on his, he opened one eye to see Taura looking at him, “You okay?”

            Sehun nodded, relaxing his shoulders a bit. Taura was going to continue with her questioning when a hand s around her waist and pulled her attention towards Kai. “The guys were asking where I’d be sleeping. I’m asking you if it’s okay to sleep with you in Kris’s quarters or do you want the room to yourself?”

           The siren could hear everything regardless of Kai’s attempt at a soft whisper. He rolled his eyes and butted in, “She’d want a room to herself of course.”

            His voice louder than needed the others sitting around them stopped conversing and eating to see the tension between Sehun and Kai while Taura sat in the middle. Kai scoffed with a smirk, “I think that’s for my fiancée to decide.”

            “It’s not like you love her.” Sehun muttered between his teeth when Taura placed a hand on his as well as Kai’s to stop the discussion from progressing.
