It’s said that in the afterlife there is a place where men who die at sea go. It’s a place between heaven and earth where sailors go who still have yet to move on because they just can’t seem to bring themselves to leave what was left behind.
The ruler of this place is a handsome young man by the name of Habaek.
A water god who fell in love with a mortal woman who died of an illness is trapped in his own kingdom. Every anniversary, the loss of his loved one is felt on earth in yearly droughts and the only way to appease his heartbreak is for the humans to send him a bride.
