Up somewhere in the clouds between the heavens and earth, a young man walked through the empty streets of the dream like city. The buildings that rose to either side of him were pure white, untouched by anything impure. The roads were a cobblestone and looked almost like tile with alternating patterns of white, gray, blue, and beige rocks. They even seemed to shine from a distance.

           With his hands shoved into his pockets, the man strolled casually on the sidewalk watching as the others like him walked around aimlessly with no real sense of a purpose. Their faces indifferent to it all, the young man wondered what they were thinking and even if they were thinking about anything at all. Kyungsoo would nod in acknowledgement to the few he passed only to get nothing in return. It scared him how robotic the actions of the others were. He had no intentions of being like them.

            Kyungsoo whistled quietly to himself on his way to the cliffs that overlooked the raging waterfalls that fell into the crystal ocean that surrounded the entire island. It was his secret hideout.Unlike the others, this young man seemed to find many things to do in the new life he obtained. He came to appreciate the beauty of it and explored every nook and cranny of the island whenever he could. It wasn’t like Sera at all and he missed his grandfather’s home but Kyungsoo saw no reason to complain…he could have ended up in worse conditions after all.
