Epilogue
EXO academyShadows. Movement and a familiar smell. Leaves and a stream. People and faces I’ve missed so dearly. The wolf behind me jumped past me and started one of the humans. I stood and reverted back to human form. They all swelled around me with hugs and kind words.
“We’ve missed you Kris.”
I shot out a bed and fell to the floor. It had been over a year since I’ve had dreams from him. Usually they were from his wolf form, but never were they that clear. I could smell the dirt around him, feel the dampness under his paws. He had to be close.
I grabbed a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt before running out the door. I was still pulling on my shoes when I hit the dirt. I didn’t know where I was running, I just was.
I took to a trail that I run on with the pack, but cut off a few a few moments. I hardly made a sound as I ran through the darkness of the forest, but I seemed to know exactly where I was going.
There was a small clearing ahead and it was illuminated. People were milling around and didn’t see me. I got as close as I could, but I didn’t worry. It was the professors. They were talking. But why were they in the middle of the woods?
Chanyeol shifted and reviled the other side of the clearing. My breath caught and I froze to my spot. He had a new haircut, I liked it. More than a lot. He looked like he lost weight, but still looked good. All I wanted to do was to run to him and see that he was real, but I couldn’t move.
