I cracked my eyes open to lights so bright it felt like the sun was inches from my face. My skin itched everywhere and my muscles screamed in pain. Every movement seemed to hurt me; the wind, the grass, my own panting. Someone was trying to talk, but the ringing in my ears drownd him out. I closed my eyes and waited for it to end. 

"...doing so good. We all know what your going through and it is totally alright. Don't freak out." The voice was soothing and familiar. My ears perked towards the source. He was right in front of me, only a few feet. He smelled clean, like the outdoors and being healthy. He kept talking, but too quickly I lost interest. 

I also could hear others around me. Three more; one behind the speaker and two on eather sides of him. The one to his left smelled homely and welcoming, how I would expect a persons house to smell around chirstmas baking. The one to his right smelled like food. Steamed buns and sweet cakes. It almost made my mouth water. 

The third one was harder to pick out. I almost couldnt and had to really concintrate to find him. Once I realised his scent was clean I found him no problem. Everything else had some kind of smell. The grass, the trees and the wind, but he didnt have a smell. It was like there was a person sized hole in the sents. 

"Open your eyes." The smell of home got strong and stronger until it overwhelmed my senses. I popped my eyes open and sat up
