Move on - Part 2

 

 

 

At the restaurant with SooSeo

 

“Welcome!”, the waiter greeted Sooyoung and Seohyun soon after both of them entered the restaurant.

 

“Thank you”, Seohyun said to the waiter. The waiter then led them to their table. They immediately sat on their respective chairs. The waiter then laid the menu on the table.

 

“I used to come here often to meet clients, so, then knew me well here”, Seohyun said.

 

“I see”, Sooyoung replied.

 

“So, just order whatever you want to eat, okay? It’s on me”, Seohyun said with a smile.

 

“Jinja? You really don’t mind? I’m a shikshin, you know!”, Sooyoung .

 

“I don't mind, as long as you don't make me bankrupt”, Seohyun innocently said, makes Sooyoung burst out into laughter. She then giggled.

 

“You’re funny, you know”, Sooyoung said.

 

“Yeah, that’s my charm”, she said. Again, her remarks makes Sooyoung laughed.

 

She’s really something..

 

“So, tell me Sooyoung, what do you do?”, she asked while looking at the latter.

 

“Ermm.. well, I’m working as an Assistant Director in Star Agency”, he replied.

 

“Omo.. we’re working in the same industry! Great!”, she suddenly exclaimed. Sooyoung just smiled.

 

“Yeah”, he replied in short. Seohyun then called the waiter to take their orders. After done taking orders, the waiter then immediately left their table.

 

“I heard that your agency was in the middle of completing drama filming, right? If I’m not mistaken, the title of the drama is ‘Love is Everything”, am I right?, she asked again.

 

“How did you know?”, he replied as he was in curious.

 

“One of the cast of the drama is from my agency. She played the role as a heroine’s assistant. Who’s the heroine’s name? I kinda forgot”, Seohyun said.

 

“Hmm.. Jessica Jung”, Sooyoung replied nonchalant.

 

“Aha.. yeah, Jessica Jung. I kinda admire her acting. I should ask my agency to make a drama with her as a heroin someday”, she said smilingly.

 

“Yeah”, Sooyoung lazily replied. Soon after, the waiter came with the food and drinks that they had ordered earlier, and immediately placed them on their table.

“Thank you!”, both of them thanked the waiter in unison. The waiter bowed and left the table.

 

“Alright, let’s eat”, she said. Both of them started to eat their food while chatting and exchanging stories with each other.

 

 

Meanwhile, with YulKrys at the fitness centre

 

“Oppa, let’s have a lunch together!”, Krystal said after both of them entered inside the office. They just finished with their training schedule with their respective trainees.

 

“Yeah, let’s. I’m kinda hungry”, Yuri replied while wiping his sweat with a towel. Krystal then walked closer and took the towel from Yuri’s hand. Yuri was dumbfounded.

 

“Let me help you”, Krystal said while helping Yuri to wipe his sweat on his face. Yuri just stood still, frozen. Krystal continued wiping his sweat while staring at Yuri’s eyes. Both of them looked like having a staring contest.

 

“Hey guys! Opss..”, suddenly a voice interrupted. Both of them were startled and quickly distance themselves from each other.

 

“Sorry for interrupting! Hehehe.. annyeonnggg..!”, Jaejoong a.k.a. their boss said as he chuckled awkwardly while walking backwards. He then dashed out of the office.

 

“W-wait, wait! Boss! It’s not like what you’re thinking!”, Yuri said as he quickly chased his boss. Krystal somehow felt embarrassed with what was happened just now.

 

“Haishh..”, Yuri grunted after he failed to chase his boss while scratching his head. He then headed back to the office.

 

“I-I’m sorry, oppa. I just want to help you. I didn’t mean anything”, Krystal said soon after she saw Yuri entered inside.

 

“It’s okay, Krys. I knew him well. He just playing around, don’t worry”, Yuri replied as he assured her with a smile.

 

“Yeah, he used to tease me a lot while we were at university”, Krystal said as she giggled.

 

“Alright, let’s grab our lunch”, Yuri said while grabbing Krystal’s hand and walked out of the office.

 

“Huh?”, Krystal was surprised while looking at their hands.

 

 

Back to SooSeo

 

“Thanks so much for the lunch treat, Seo”, Sooyoung said soon after both of them went out of the restaurant.

 

“Hey, don’t mention! You deserve to be treated well. I owe you, remember?”, Seohyun said. Sooyoung just smiled in return. “Alright, I need to go back to my office right now. Can you please send me there?”, she asked.

 

“Of course, though! I can’t let you go back by yourself”, Sooyoung replied.

 

“Aww... that’s very nice of you Sooyoungie! Kajaa!”, Seohyun excitedly said while linking her arm through his. Sooyoung was startled at first, but then he just followed Seohyun to his car.

 

You’re really something!

 

After 30 minutes of driving, they then arrived in front of Seohyun’s office building. Being a gentleman, Sooyoung immediately dashed out of his car to open the door for Seohyun.

 

“Thank you, Soo”, she said as she went out of the car.

 

“So, I’ll see you later, okay? Thanks again for the lunch”, Sooyoung said with a smile.

 

“You’re welcome. You wanna see me again?”, Seohyun replied while looking at Sooyoung.

 

“Y-yeah. Can I?”, Sooyoung asked. He then felt a sudden heat on his face.

 

Are you serious, Choi Sooyoung?

 

“Sure. I’d love to”, she replied as she blushed.

 

“Okay, I’ll call you later. Take care. Bye!”, Sooyoung bid her goodbye before he went back into the car.

 

“Bye!”, Seohyun said while waving her hand at Sooyoung. The latter just smiled in return. She just watched Sooyoung’s car moving away from her until it disappeared.

 

Hmm.. we just met, but I don’t know why I feel like I’ve known you for a long time..

 

 

Back to YulKrys

 

“Thanks for the treat, oppa”, Krystal said after both of them went out of the cafe. They just had their lunch at the cafe just next to the fitness centre.

 

“You’re welcome”, Yuri replied. Both of them were walking from the cafe, and heading back to their workplace.

 

“Ermm.. oppa, can I ask you something?”, Krystal suddenly asked.

 

“Sure, Krys. What is it?”, Yuri replied.

 

“Hmm.. do you often going out for date with your girlfriend? I mean like, having lunch or dinner together?”, Krystal asked.

 

“Oh lord.. what should I answer?”, he thought.

 

“Of.. of course, though! That’s the usual things that a couple would do, right?”, he answered hesitantly. Krystal looked a bit frustrated.

 

“Yeah, I bet she must be pretty, right?”, Krystal said.

 

She’s the prettiest girl that I’ve ever met.. and fell in love with..

 

“Hmm.. y-yeah”, Yuri replied.

 

“She’s so lucky to have you as a boyfriend”, Krystal said. Yuri just let out a small smile.

 

“Yeah, I wish I was her boyfriend, but that would never happen”, Yuri thought.

 

“Alright, let’s walk faster. I heard from our boss that a new trainee will come to register this afternoon”, Yuri said.

 

“Jinja? A male or female trainee?”, Krystal asked.

 

“If I’m not mistaken, a male”, he replied.

 

“If he’s a handsome one, I want to become his trainer!”, Krystal said excitedly. Yuri laughed on her words and shook his head.

 

“Hey, you two! Having fun with your lunch date so far?”, Jaejoong teasingly said soon after Yuri and Krystal entered the office.

 

“Yah! It’s not like what you think!”, Yuri exclaimed angrily. Jaejoong laughed his head off. Krystal just giggled.

 

“Chillax, bro! Anyway, I want to inform you guys about the new trainee that will come to register here in any minute. So, Yul, you’ll in charge for this as usual”, Jaejoong said.

 

“Arasso”, Yuri replied. “But, who’s going to be his trainer?”, Yuri asked.

 

“Well, since Krystal just handled one trainee at the moment, so, I want her to be his trainer”, Jaejoong replied.

 

“Yeayy!”, Krystal clapped her hands excitedly. Both Yuri and Jaejoong looked at her weirdly.

 

“Huh? Why are you so excited? Normally trainers here will try to avoid receiving a new trainee”, Yuri said.

 

“I don’t know. But, who knows, maybe he’s an idol, or an actor, or a handsome model?”, she replied smilingly. Yuri and Jaejoong just shook their heads.

 

“KNOCK! KNOCK!”, suddenly, a knock on the door being heard. Jaejoong walked towards the door to open it.

 

“Annyeong!”, the person greeted.

 

“Annyeong! Please come in”, Jaejoong said as he opened the door widely to let the person entered inside. As soon as the person entered the office, he suddenly stopped when he saw Krystal.

 

“Krys?”, he said. Krystal’s eyes widened as soon as she saw him.

 

“Sul.. Sulli?”

 

 

At the Kim’s residence

 

Taeyeon decided to return to her family's residence a bit earlier. He parked his taxi in front of the gate. He went out of his taxi, and walked towards the gate to press the doorbell.

 

“DING! DONG!”

 

A few minutes later, his mother, Mrs. Kim went out of the house, and walked towards the gate to open it.

 

“Annyeong, mom!”, Taeyeon greeted his mother and immediately hugged her.

 

“Taetae? What are you doing here?”, Mrs. Kim asked while returning the hug.

 

“I just want to visit you, mom. I miss you”, Taeyeon replied as she let out a small smile.

 

“Jinja? I miss you too, son. It’s been awhile since you’re not coming back here”, Mrs. Kim said as she patted gently on his back.

 

“I’m so sorry, mom. I was busy with my work lately”, Taeyeon reasoned.

 

“I know. Let’s get inside”, Mrs. Kim said as she pulled Taeyeon’s hand to get inside the house.

 

“Is dad here?”, Taeyeon asked as soon as they entered inside the house.

 

“Your dad went out for a while. He said he wanted to meet his friends. He will be back before dinner”, Mrs. Kim said. “Have you had your lunch, dear?”, her mother asked.

 

“Yeah, already had it”, Taeyeon replied.

 

“Stay here until dinner, okay? I’ll cook your favorite dish”, Mrs. Kim said.

 

“Sure, mom. Thanks”, he replied with a smile.

 

“You’re welcome, son. Go to your room and get a rest. I’ll call you once the dinner is ready”, his mother said.

 

“Arasso”, Taeyeon replied, and he immediately went upstairs, headed to his old room. He pulled the door knob, and entered inside his room.

 

“Hmm.. just the same like before I left”, he said while his eyes wandering around the room. He took out his belongings, the car keys, handphone and wallet, and put them all on the side table. He then flopped himself on the bed. “Ahhh... that’s better!”, he said as he slowly closed his eyes, trying to take a nap before dinner. As he was about to close his eyes, suddenly his phone beeped.

 

“Huh?”, he was startled with the text message sound. He immediately grabbed his phone, and looked at the screen.

 

From: IU

 

Hi there! Sorry to disturb you. Just wanna ask you on what time you’ll pick me up for lunch?

 

Taeyeon smiled after reading the text message. He then immediately replied the text.

 

To: IU

 

Hey, it’s okay. I think around 12:00 p.m. I’ll call you as soon as I arrived at your office building, okay?

 

After a few minutes later, he received another text reply from the latter.

 

From: IU

 

Okay, I’ll see you on tomorrow. Have a good rest, and get well soon!

 

“Thank you”, Taeyeon mumbled. He decided not to reply on her last text. He put his phone back on the side table. Suddenly he remembered about the phone conversation with IU earlier.

 

 

** Flashback**

 

“Mwoh?”, IU was surprised. She was silent for awhile.

 

“Hmm.. it’s.. it’s okay if you don’t want to..”, Taeyeon was about to continue his words when suddenly IU cut it off.

 

“Yesss! Hmm.. No!.. I-I’mean.. yes, I’d love to”, she replied nervously. Taeyeon chuckled over the line.

 

“Okay, okay. I got it, IU ssi! So, I’ll see you on tomorrow, okay?”, he said.

 

“O.. okay”, she replied.

 

“Bye, IU ssi!”, Taeyeon ended the conversation.

 

“Bye!”, IU ended the call.
