LA, Here We Come! - Part 2

 

“Omo!”

 

“D-daddy..!”

 

The TaeNy couple startled and frozen with their current position right after they saw Mr. Hwang.

 

“Ermm.. kids! Please do that at your room. Not in front of my eyes here”, Mr. Hwang said with a chuckle.

 

“Y-yah! Get your hands off me!”, Tiffany exclaimed and without realized she accidentally pushed Taeyeon to the wall so hard. Her cheeks were so red due to the embarrassment.

 

“Urghh.. b-babee..!”, Taeyeon groaned in pain as he rubbed his back.

 

“Sweetie, why did you do that to your fiancé?”, Mr. Hwang said with a frown.

 

“Omo! I-I’m sorry, baby. Gwenchana?”, she asked worriedly while grabbing Taeyeon’s arm.

 

“My.. my back.. the bone almost b-broken..”, Taeyeon said as his face cringed in pain. Mr. Hwang couldn’t help but to chuckle on Taeyeon’s words.

 

“Aishh.. I’m asking you for real though!”, she said while slapping on his arm.

 

“Oww.. babeee.. are you going to kill me or what? I’m in pain, you know!”, he exclaimed with a groan.

 

“Alright, alright! Cut it out you two! Both of you still bickering like small kids although you two are going to be parents soon. Tsk.. tsk.. such a bad example”, Mr. Hwang said while shook his head.

 

“I’m sorry daddy”, Tiffany apologized, lowering her head down.

 

“I’m sorry too, Uncle Hwang. We are just teasing each other. We promise we won’t do that again”, Taeyeon said as he let out a small smile. Mr. Hwang smiled as he leaned forward and gave a brief hug to the young man.

 

“How are you, my son? How’s your flight?”, Mr. Hwang patted his back before he pulled off the hug. Taeyeon was about to answer when suddenly his words being cut off by his beloved one.

 

“How about me, daddy? You don’t want to hug your baby daughter?”, Tiffany said while pouting childishly, spreading her arms wanting his father to hug her.

 

“Tch, jeongmal?”, Taeyeon mumbled while rolling his eyes, earning a glare from his fiancee. Mr. Hwang chuckled and walked towards his baby daughter to hug her.

 

“Aigoo my baby! How are you doing, sweetie?”, Mr. Hwang asked as he hugged his daughter and kissed her cheek.

 

“I’m doing good, daddy. I miss you”, she replied and her voice almost crack. Tears suddenly rolled down her cheeks, and she buried her face on his father’s chest.

 

“Aishh.. such a crybaby! I’m here right now. Make sure you will spend your time with me for these two weeks break, okay?”, Mr. Hwang said as he patted on his daughter’s back gently. Tiffany couldn’t help herself from crying more.

 

“Aigoo.. there, there. Stop crying”, he said, trying to soothe his daughter. Taeyeon on the other hand just stood aside, letting out a small smile while watching a father and daughter heartbreaking yet loving bonding moment.

 

“I’m sorry I couldn't come back often, daddy”, she said while sobbing. Mr. Hwang pulled off the hug and lifted his daughter’s chin. He cupped her face and kissed on her forehead.

 

“It’s okay, sweetie. I know you have your own life there that has to go on. Besides, I’m fine here. Your sister, your brother and our relatives are always here, taking care of me. So, don’t be sorry okay? We always welcome you back whenever you have your free time”, Mr. Hwang said softly, causing his daughter to smile.

 

“There, your sweet smile is all I want to see right now. So, don’t cry anymore, okay?”, he said.

 

“Okay”, she replied while nodding her head.

 

“Pardon us, Taeyeon. This little girl of mine always become like this whenever she parted from me for a long time. She’s not strong enough to live alone because she always missed her family here. I’m glad that she met you. Thank you so much for bringing her back here, and taking a good care of her”, Mr. Hwang said while ruffling his daughter’s hair.

 

“Daddyy… you’re ruining my hair!”, Tiffany whined and immediately fixing her hair. Both men laughed at her, causing her to pout.

 

“Don’t mention it, Uncle Hwang. I promise I will bring her back here often to meet you and the rest of your family”, Taeyeon replied while smiled reassuringly.

 

“Aigoo.. that’s very kind of you, Taeyeon ah. And please, don’t call me uncle anymore. You should call me daddy from now on”, Mr. Hwang said, patting his soon-to-be son-in-law’s shoulder.

 

“D-dae, daddy”, Taeyeon replied as he smiled sheepishly.

 

“Aww.. you two are so sweet”, Tiffany said in awe, earning a laughter from the two men.

 

“We are always like this when it comes to please our spouse, right Taeyeon?”, Mr. Hwang  replied, giving a wink at the latter. Taeyeon just chuckled in response.

 

“So full of yourself, huh?”, she snickered, and slowly leaned closer to her beloved fiance, hugging him by the waist.

 

“Aishh… honey ah! I miss you!”, Mr. Hwang said dramatically while looking at the ceiling.

 

“Aigoo! Come here, daddy. Let’s do a group hug”, Tiffany said as she waving her hand at her father, gesturing him to come closer. Mr. Hwang complied to his baby daughter’s request and walked closer, spreading his arm to hug both of them.

 

“Don’t be sad, okay? We are all here for you”, she said while patting on her father’s back.

 

“Thank you, both of you. Let’s visit your mother’s grave some other time, okay? We should introduce her to our new family members”, Mr. Hwang replied, pulling off the hug.

 

“Okay, daddy”, Tiffany said while nodding her head.

 

“Alright, you two should go inside your room and get some rest. I will call you once the lunch is ready, okay?”, Mr. Hwang said.

 

“Okay, daddy”, the TaeNy couple replied in unison. Mr. Hwang then headed to downstairs, leaving the couple alone.

 

“Kaja, let’s get inside my room”, Tiffany said as she pulled Taeyeon’s arm, dragging him inside the room.

 

“Aishh..”, Taeyeon shielded his eyes using his free hand upon entering the room.

 

“Don’t act like you had never seen anything in pink before”, she said in annoyed tone while glaring at the latter. Taeyeon chuckled, and proceed to walk towards the bed with baby pink bedsheet color. He sat on it and patted the bed, gesturing his fiancee to sit next to him. Tiffany  complied and walked towards her fiance with a pouting face. She immediately sat on the bed while crossing her arms. Taeyeon smiled as he looked at his grumpy fiancee. He scooted closer and slowly wrapped his arms around her waist.

 

“Why are you so sensitive today, huh?”, he asked, but not to forget to give a peck on her temple. Tiffany let out a sigh and slowly uncrossed her arms.

 

“I.. I’m sorry”, she apologized while caressing his arm. She realized that ever since she got pregnant, she suddenly changed into a very sensitive person. Taeyeon smiled and tighten the hug, but not too tight as he didn’t want to suffocate the mother of their baby.

 

“It’s okay, babe. I’m sorry too if you feel annoyed with my act earlier. I’m just teasing you, that’s all. You know I love you, right?”, Taeyeon said softly, earning a smile from the latter.

 

“I love you too, Taetae”, she replied and leaning her head on his shoulder. She felt so glad that Taeyeon always being so understanding and considerate towards her despite her having mood swings. Taeyeon unwrapped his arms and caressed on her back head gently.

 

“Alright, let’s get some rest first, okay? I know you’re tired because you didn’t get enough sleep earlier”, he said.

 

“Okay”, she replied in short and lifted her head from his shoulder. Taeyeon then immediately stacking two pillows for her and helped her to lie down on the bed before he settled himself next to her.

 

“Is it comfortable enough?”, he asked in concern. Tiffany nodded her head with a small smile. She pulled Taeyeon’s arm and put it around her waist. She snuggled closer to his chest before slowly closed her tired eyes.

 

“Rest well, babe”, Taeyeon whispered and kissed on her forehead before he slowly dozed off.

 

Later on that afternoon

 

“KNOCK! KNOCK!”

 

“Sweetie, Taeyeon! Lunch is ready!”, Mr. Hwang called from outside while knocking the door.  After knocking for several times, finally the door slowly opened, revealing Taeyeon who has already woke up from his nap.

 

“H-hey, daddy. Ermm.. Fany is still sleeping. Should I wake her up?”, Taeyeon said. Mr. Hwang glanced inside the room and saw Tiffany was still in a deep sleep. He then slowly closed the door.

 

“No, it’s okay, Taeyeon. She must be so tired. Let her sleep some more, okay? Come, let’s have lunch first. I will bring the food for her later”, Mr. Hwang replied as he patted on the young man’s shoulder and lead him to downstairs.

 

“Have a seat, Taeyeon”, Mr. Hwang said after they entered the dining room. He gestured the latter to sit next to him.

 

“T-thank you, daddy”, Taeyeon thanked him while smiled shyly and pulled the chair to sit on it. Although the Hwangs welcomed him into their family with a warm hospitality, he still felt awkward towards them as he had just about to know his other half family members, except Mr. Hwang himself.

 

“Aww.. you’re so sweet, dad. I feel like he’s already married to our little pink princess when he called you daddy”, Leo said while smiling teasingly. Taeyeon's cheeks blushed upon hearing on Leo’s words.

 

“It’s the same, Leo. I did that to my son and daughter-in-law too before you two got married, right?”, Mr. Hwang replied while chuckling.

 

“But, you didn’t do that when she was with Siwo… ouchhhh!”, Leo suddenly exclaimed with his face cringed in pain. He glared at his older sister who caused him in pain as the latter pinched his arm hard. Michelle glared at him back while mouthing “watch your mouth” at him. Leo rolled his eyes annoyingly and took a glass of plain water to drink.

 

“Alright, let say a prayer first, shall we?”, Mr. Hwang said as he just ignored the small drama created by his children just now. He doesn’t want Taeyeon to feel uncomfortable by reminding him of Tiffany’s ex-boyfriend. Both of them had just started a new chapter in their life, and he was so sure that everything has already come clean between the three of them. All of them began to clasp their hands while Mr. Hwang began to say a prayer. After they had done with it, they started to eat their lunch.

 

“How was the food, Taeyeon?”, Mark suddenly asked as he started the conversation.

 

“Awesome!”, Taeyeon replied with a grin, giving him his two thumbs up. The Hwangs chuckled on his reaction as they found it funny and cute.

 

“Glad that you like it”, he said. The Hwangs and Taeyeon continued eating their food while chatting on random things. While they were just about to finish their lunch..

 

“Yah! How come you guys having your lunch without me, huh?”, a whining voice suddenly being heard, causing all of them turned their heads towards the sound of the voice. Taeyeon gasped, and quickly got up from his seat, rushed towards the owner of the voice.

 

“Sorry, babe. We thought you’re still sleeping”, Taeyeon said as he put his hand on her shoulder, and slowly led her to sit next to him. The sulking girl just took her seat while pouting.

 

“Aigoo.. don’t be mad at us, sweetie. We just want you to have a good rest before you take your lunch”, Mr. Hwang who sat next to the sulking pink princess patted her head gently. He took an empty plate and handed it to Taeyeon.

 

“What do you want to eat, babe?”, Taeyeon asked softly. Still pouting, Tiffany cutely pointed to mashed potatoes bowl, caesar salad and chicken wings. Taeyeon just complied and took each food which his fiancee wants to eat and placed it on the empty plate.

 

“Here you go. Eat slowly, okay?”, Taeyeon said as he placed the plate with foods in front of his beloved one.

 

“Thanks, Taetae”, she thanked him while smiling shyly. Taeyeon let out a soft chuckle and continue to eat his lunch.

 

“How long both of you are planning to stay here?”, Mr. Hwang asked while munching his food.

 

“Ermm.. we are planning to stay around two weeks, but it depends on Tiffany. If she wants to stay more longer than that then I don’t mind, daddy”, Taeyeon replied. Mr. Hwang nodded his head understandingly.

 

“Yes, daddy. I think I want to stay a bit longer. I want to introduce Taetae to all our family members and relatives, especially to Chloe and Debbie. They are so eager to meet him, daddy”, Tiffany said while glancing at her fiance. Taeyeon raised his brows in surprise while pointing to himself. Tiffany nodded her head smilingly.

 

“Aigoo.. those naughty girls? You have to be careful, Taeyeon. Those girls might kidnapping you and doing their interrogation on you like a nosy detective”, Leo said teasingly, earning laughter from the rest.

 

“Yahh.. oppa! Can you please not to tease my Taetae?”, Tiffany exclaimed while glaring at her brother. Leo stuck his tongue out at his little sister.

 

“Alright, kids! Enough with the play. Let’s continue eating our lunch, okay?”, Mr. Hwang said as he continued eating his food.

 

“Don't mind both of them, Taeyeon. They are always like that every time they meet with each other”, Michelle said.

“Unnieee! I’m not like that, though!”, the younger Hwang cried. Mr. Hwang just shook his head while munching his food. The lunch was getting merrier with their chatting and teasing with each other.

Annyeong chinggu! It's been a while, right? I would like to apologize for being hiatus in such a long time. The truth is that I was so busy with my life right now. But, my passion in writing never dies, so here I am, still want to update you guys with the new chapter of this fic. Although it's a bit short, I hope you guys will enjoy reading it.
