Moving on - Part 7

 

 

 

A few days later

 

“Hmm.. I hope he will like it”, Yoona mumbled smilingly while looking at the cute kangaroo soft toy inside the paper bag. She has kept her promise to buy it for Yuri. She just arrived at Incheon Airport with her manager oppa. They were waiting for the company's car to pick them up. Suddenly her manager’s phone is ringing.

 

“Alright, the car is already here. Let’s go”, Junsu said soon after he ended the call. He quickly pushing the trolley, heading to the main entrance followed by Yoona from behind. Yoona's fans were already crowding near the main entrance to take photos and getting her signature. Some fans also took chances to hand over gifts to her. Yoona tried to serve them as best as possible.

 

“Sorry guys, we need to go now”, Junsu said to the fans. He immediately grabbed Yoona’s hand, and slowly pulled her to get inside the car. Yoona then waved at her fans with a smile before she went inside the car.

 

“Oppa, can you please make a stop at the fitness center?”, Yoona asked her manager.

 

“Wae?”, Junsu asked curiously.

 

“Ermm.. I need to send this souvenir to Yuri. I’m afraid I will forgot to bring it when I’ll go there”, she replied. She actually wanted to meet Yuri because she missed that tanned guy since she didn't see him for a week. She just wanted to surprise him.

 

“Oh, okay”, Junsu said as he directs the driver to take them to the fitness center. After almost one hour of their journey, finally they arrived in front of the fitness center building.

 

“Oppa, can you please wait here for a while?”, Yoona asked soon after Junsu opened the car’s door for her.

 

“Yeah, sure. Don’t be too long, okay? You need to go home and rest. Your schedule will start at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow”, Junsu replied.

 

“Arasso”, Yoona said as she immediately went out of the car, and ran lightly to the fitness center’s main entrance and entered inside.

 

“Annyeong, Yoona ssi!”, the receptionist greeted her.

 

“Annyeong. Is Yuri ssi here?”, she asked. It was already a lunch time.

 

“Oh, he went out for lunch an hour ago. I supposed that he will be back from lunch any minute from now”, the receptionist said while looking at the wall clock. Not long after, Yuri entered the door with Krystal. “There he is”, the receptionist said soon after she saw Yuri and Krystal entered.

 

“Yuri oppa!”, the receptionist called him. He still didn’t notice on Yoona because she was back facing them. Yoona gestured the receptionist not to reveal about her yet.

 

“Hey, what’s up?”, Yuri asked while walking towards the reception counter.

 

“There’s someone wants to meet you”, she said with a smile.

 

“Jinja?”, Yuri said. The receptionist then pointed at the girl who was standing in front of the counter while back facing him. Krystal followed him from behind.

 

“Excuse me, Miss? You want to see me?”, Yuri asked her. Yoona giggled and turned at his back.

 

“Yoooonnnn!”, Yuri exclaimed excitedly and immediately hugged her. Yoona startled. Krystal was surprised to see the person while looking at them in curious.

 

Im Yoona ssi? What’s she doing here? Don’t tell me that she’s Yuri oppa’s girlfriend..

 

“Hi, Yul! How are you?”, she greeted as she returned the hug.

 

“I’m good, I’m good. When are you coming back? Why didn’t you tell me?”, he asked.

 

“Sorry, I just want to surprise you”, she replied as she released the hug.

 

“Yeah, I’m surprised right now”, Yuri said which earns a giggle from the latter. She then glanced at Krystal.

 

“Who’s that?”, Yoona whispered.

 

“Oh, she’s my new colleague. She’s a trainer too”, Yuri said. “Krys, come here”, Yuri called her. “I’m sure you know who she is, right?”, he said. Krystal walked closer to them.

 

“Yes, I know, oppa. Annyeong Yoona ssi! Nice to meet you”, Krystal said as she bowed to her.

 

“Yoon, this is Krystal Jung, my new colleague”, Yuri introduced Krystal to her.

 

“Annyeong, Krystal ssi! Nice to meet you too”, Yoona said as she bowed.

 

“Krys, you can go back to the office first. I need to see her for a while, okay?”, Yuri said to Krystal.

 

“Okay, oppa”, Krystal replied and waved at Yoona before she headed to the office.

 

“Yul, sorry, I can’t be here for long. Junsu oppa is waiting at outside. I just want to pass this souvenir to you”, she said as she handed a paper bag to Yuri. Yuri took the paper bag, and peeked inside.

 

“Wow, you really bought me a kangaroo!”, Yuri said excitedly. Yoona just giggled on his words.

 

“Yeah, I kept my promise, right?”, she replied with a smile.

 

“Yup. Thanks, Yoon!”, he thanked her while still admiring the gifts.

 

“You’re welcome. Alright, I need to go now. I’ll see you later, okay”, Yoona said as she patted on Yuri’s shoulder.

 

“Oh, really? Hmm.. okay”, Yuri replied in a low tone as he felt frustrated. He wanted to talk more with the person that he missed so much for the past one week. Yoona then walked towards the door and waved at Yuri before she went out. Yuri waved at her back with a small smile carved on his lips.

 

“You just don’t know how much I missed you, Im Yoona”, he thought sadly. “Hey, I’m going upstairs”, he said to the receptionist as he smiled weakly.

 

“Okay, see you later, oppa”, the receptionist replied and waved at him.

 

 

At Tiffany’s apartment

 

“Taetae, wake up. It’s afternoon already. I’m  hungryyy”, Tiffany whined as she tried to wake up her new boyfriend. Both of them went out for a late night supper and drink last night. Taeyeon was so drunk, and it ended up Tiffany was the one who drove the taxi back to her apartment. Poor Tiffany! LOL!

 

“Taetaeeee”, she whined loudly. She let Taeyeon slept on the couch last night, and the latter was still in a deep sleep. He was so happy that Tiffany has finally became his girlfriend, and he drank more than five bottles of soju last night.

 

“Tiffany Hwang Miyoung! Saranghaeeeeee! Hehehehe...”, that’s the only word that came out from his mouth on their way back from having a late night supper, and Tiffany have asked the security guard to help her to bring Taeyeon back to her apartment.

 

“Hmm.. I think he was beyond happy to have you as his girlfriend, Miss Hwang”, the security guard chuckled.

 

“Urghh.. you leave me with no choice, Taetae!”, she grunted. She got up from the couch, and took a clean towel from her bedroom, and brought it to the kitchen. She took a pack of ice, and wrapped the ice with the towel. She then sat next to the sleeping Taeyeon, and slowly she started to wipe the wrapped ice pack on his forehead and his whole face. Taeyeon was startled with the coldness from the ice, and slowly opened his eyes.

 

“Tiff, urghh.. my head!”, he groaned as tried to lift up his head.

 

“Stay still. I need to wipe your face with this towel”, Tiffany said as she pushed Taeyeon lightly to lie back on the couch. She continued to wipe Taeyeon’s face and neck. Taeyeon just stared at her.

 

“Mianhae”, he said. Tiffany immediately stopped on her doing.

 

“Wae?”, she asked while looking at Taeyeon, furrowing her brows

 

“For troubling you, like this”, he said as he lowered his voice. Tiffany just smiled over his words.

 

“It’s okay, sweetie. You didn’t plan this to happen, right?”, she said as she caressed his cheek. “But, you owe me a one day pay for today. I can’t go to work today because of you”, she said as she pouted. Taeyeon just giggled on her act.

 

“So cute!”, he thought. “Okay, okay. I’ll do whatever to pay you back. Just tell me”, he said. He slowly got up from the couch with the help of Tiffany, and sat back while leaning his back on it. Tiffany then put the towel and the ice pack on the table, and she slowly leaned closer to Taeyeon. She wrapped her arms around Taeyeon’s waist, and leaned her head on shoulder.

 

“As for the moment, you need to take me out for lunch. I’m hungryyy”, she whined. Taeyeon chuckled and slowly wrapped his arms and hugged Tiffany, and kissed on top of her head.

 

“Arasso. But, I don’t want to go out like this. I need to go back to my apartment to take a shower, and change my shirt”, he said.

 

“No, it will take too long. Just shower here. You don’t have to go back to your apartment. Besides, you have already had your extra shirt and pants inside your back pack, so just change your shirt here”, she said as she tilted her head to look at Taeyeon.

 

“Okay, okay. Now, give me a kishh”, Taeyeon said as he pouted his lips, wanted to be kissed by his girlfriend.

 

“Nooo... I don’t want to kiss you! The alcohol smell still lingered on your mouth. Go and take a shower first, and don’t forget to brush your teeth. Just use my toothbrush. Go, go, go!”, she said as she immediately released herself from Taeyeon’s embrace and patted on his thigh.

 

“Arasso, eomma!”, he giggled as he quickly got up from the couch.

 

“Yah! I’m not your eomma. And, I’m not that old, though!”, she exclaimed angrily. Taeyeon just laughed on her remarks. He then took his back pack that was on the floor, and headed to Tiffany’s bedroom.

 

 

Back to the fitness center

 

Krystal and Yuri had just finished their training schedule with their respective trainees. Both of them went back to their office, and checking up on their trainee's progress through their personal files. While Yuri was busy jotted something on the file, he didn’t realize that Krystal was staring at him.

 

“Oppa”, Krystal called him.

 

“Yes, Krys? What’s up?”, he replied as he immediately turned his head to look at the latter.

 

“Can I ask you something? But, please answer me honestly, okay?”, Krystal said.

 

“Hmm.. okay, sure. What is it?”, he asked as he stopped checking the files, and positioned himself to face Krystal.

 

“Ermm.. you seemed like knowing Yoona ssi very well. Is she.. close to you?”, Krystal asked.

 

Uh oh! What should I answer? Should I tell her Yoona is just my trainee? Or, should I pretending that she’s my girlfriend? Come on, think Kwon Yuri.. think!

 

“Oh, ermm..  she is.. she is actually.. my girlfriend”, Yuri hesitantly said. He felt nervous, afraid that the latter will suspect that he’s lying. Suddenly Krystal laughed, makes Yuri felt more nervous and uncomfortable.

 

“Y-yah! Why are you laughing?”, he asked. Krystal then covered with her hand and stopped laughing.

 

“Oppa, do you think I’m stupid? I know Yoona ssi has already had a boyfriend. Who doesn’t know him, huh? Her boyfriend was famous too, just like her”, Krystal said as she smirked.

 

“Great!”, Yuri thought. “I’m.. I’m just kidding, though!”, he nervously said, tried to reason.

 

Yeah, she’s right. Who doesn’t know Jang Geun Suk ssi, right? He’s the famous actor, singer and also a model. He and me so different, as like chalk and cheese.

 

“Hmm.. yeah”, Yuri sighed. He then got up from his chair, and walked towards the couch. Krystal felt weird with Yuri’s sudden change. She got up from her chair, and walked towards the couch. She then sat next to Yuri.

 

“Oppa, are you okay?”, Krystal asked in concern.

 

“Yeah, I’m okay”, Yuri replied with a small smile carved on his lips. Krystal knew there’s something bothering him ever since they talked about Yoona. She decided to dig deeper into the matter.

 

“Oppa, if you have something that bothering your mind right now, just tell me, okay. I’m all ears”, Krystal said. Yuri then let out a heavy sigh, and sat up straight.

 

“There’s nothing to tell, Krys” he said. He was about to get up from the couch when suddenly Krystal grabbed his wrist.

 

“Oppa, I know your mind has been bothered by something right now. Just spill it out!”, Krystal said sternly.

 

“Geez, what’s wrong with this girl?”, he thought. He then walked back to the couch, and sat on it.

 

“Alright, alright. I’ve a crush on her. Satisfied?”, he grumbled. Krystal just smiled upon hearing his confession. She then patted the couch, wanted Yuri sat closer to her. Yuri just complied.

 

“Want me to help you?”, Krystal said softly.

 

“Help me for what?”, he asked, furrowing his brows.

 

“To get her”, Krystal replied.

 

“No, no. That’s impossible, Krys. I’m the one who has a feeling towards her while she’s not”, Yuri exclaimed as he’s disagree with Krystal’s suggestion.

 

“Yuri oppa! Listen to me! I know you’ll react like this. But, are you going to watch her every day, get close to her without trying to know what she has thought about you? Who knows, maybe she has the same feeling towards you”, Krystal said as she tried to put a sense on the latter’s head. Yuri let out a sigh, and leaned his back on the couch. He just kept silent as he was in a deep thought.

 

“Haishh.. alright! But, just this once, okay?”, he said as he finally agreed with Krystal’s suggestion. “So, what are you planning to do?”, he asked. Krystal smiled as she sat up straight.

 

“Okay, listen. Why don’t we just pretending to act like boyfriend girlfriend, just like what we did to Sulli on last time?”, she suggested.

 

“Do you think it will work?”, he asked.

 

“Of course, oppa. Just look what we’ve done earlier. My relationship and Sulli were getting better nowadays. And, thanks to you!”, she replied confidently. Yeah, she and Sulli were friends right now, and Sulli was planning to get back together with her.

 

“Alright, if you say so”, he replied.

 

 

The next day

 

Yuri was waiting for Yoona’s arrival since the latter said that she will be coming to the fitness center a bit late on that afternoon. She got a photoshoot for CF this morning, and although she was tired like hell, she insisted to come to the fitness center to proceed with her training. Krystal on the other hand, was so excited to start their plan.

 

Yuri was busy checking on the treadmill machine when suddenly he felt someone’s tapping on his shoulder. He immediately turned to look at his back, and was surprised to see the person that he awaited the most was standing behind him. He felt nervous all of a sudden.

 

“Y-yoon! W-when are you arrived?”, he stuttered.

 

“Yul, are you okay? You look pale”, Yoona asked in worried tone. She leaned closer and put her hand on Yuri’s forehead. “Hmm.. a bit warm”, she said.

 

“I’m.. I’m okay. Maybe because of the hot weather nowadays.. hehehe..”, he said as he chuckled awkwardly.

 

“Heh? It’s cold outside, Yul”, Yoona replied while looking at him weirdly.

 

“Oh, r-really? Yeah.. maybe there’s something wrong with the air conditioner then”, he said. Yoona just chuckled and shook her head. She felt weird with Yuri’s sudden nervousness. He usually will greeted her cheerfully everytime she arrived here.

 

“Oppaaaa.. you’re here! I’m looking for you. I miss you, oppa!”, Krystal who appeared out of nowhere exclaimed excitedly and dashed towards Yuri and hugged him. Yuri was startled with her sudden act. Yoona was surprised while looking at their actions.

 

“Oh, h-hey, babe! I miss you too!”, he said as he returned the hug. Yoona suddenly felt aggrieved with Yuri’s action.

 

I came here just to see you, Yul. How could you do this to me!

 

“Oh, Yoona ssi! You’re here too!”, Krystal immediately released the hug and bowed to her.

 

“H-hi, Krystal ssi!”, she greeted her back.

 

“Okay, oppa. I’ve got to go now. Don’t forget on our dinner date tonight, okay?”, Krystal said and gave a peck on his cheek.

 

“Okay, babe”, he replied.

 

“Nice to meet you again, Yoona ssi”, Krystal said to Yoona before she went out of the gym.

 

“Y-yeah”, Yoona replied with a small smile. She then walked towards Yuri.

 

“Ermm.. Yul, is she your girlfriend?”, Yoona asked in curious. Yuri was surprised with her question.

 

“Hmm.. yeah. Why?”, Yuri replied while looking at the latter.

 

“Oh, ermm.. n-nothing. I just asking, that’s all”, she said.

 

“Okay, shall we start our training now?”, he asked.

 

“Y-yeah, sure”, she replied nonchalant. She’s actually still couldn’t accept the fact that Yuri has already had a girlfriend. Her mood suddenly dropped.

 

I just left you for a week, and this is what I got. How could you!

 

Without they realized, Krystal was still at the door outside, eavesdropping their conversation.

Hah! I knew it! She has a feeling for you, Yuri oppa!
