Moving on - Part 6

 

 

Later on that night at the cinema

 

“Thanks for the treat”, Seohyun thanked Sooyoung soon after he’s done buying the movie tickets.

 

“You’re most welcome”, Sooyoung replied smilingly. “Ermm.. do you want anything? Popcorn? Drinks?”, he asked.

 

“No, it’s okay. I’m still full from having dinner earlier”, she replied.

 

“Okay. I guess I need to buy them for myself since I’m a shikshin”, Sooyoung grinned which earns a chuckle from the latter. “Can you please wait for me here? I’ll go and grab them for a while”, Sooyoung said. Seohyun just smiled and nodded her head.

 

Sooyoung then immediately walked towards the cinema’s snack counter to buy popcorn and drinks. While he was busy looking for his wallet, suddenly a guy cut the line where he was queuing.

 

“What the.. err.. excuse me, Mister. You have cut my line here”, Sooyoung sternly said while tapping on the guy’s shoulder. As soon as the guy turned his head, Sooyoung was surprised.

 

“D-Dongwook ssi? You’re here too?”, Sooyoung asked.

 

“Hey, Sooyoung ssi! It’s good to see you here! I’m so sorry, I was in hurry. Are you going to watch the same movie with us? Iron Man 3?”, Dongwook replied.

 

Us? Hmm.. he’s with Jessica..

 

“Ermm.. y-yeah..”, Sooyoung replied nonchalant.

 

“Great!”, Dongwook exclaimed excitedly. Sooyoung just let out a small smile. “Sooyoung ssi, if you don’t mind, can I queue up in front of you? Jessica doesn’t want me to leave her alone too long, she’s scared to be in crowded place like this”, Dongwook said.

 

“Oh, sure. Go ahead”, Sooyoung replied. After done buying popcorn and drinks, Dongwook bid Sooyoung goodbye before he walked towards his girlfriend. Sooyoung let out a sigh.

 

“Why do I have to meet them in here? Haishh...”, Sooyoung mumbled while ruffling his hair into mess. After done buying his snacks and drinks, Sooyoung headed back to the place where Seohyun was waiting.

“Hey, sorry I’m late”, Sooyoung said while walking closer to the spot where Seohyun was standing.

 

“Gwenchana.. ermm... Sooyoungie..”, Seohyun replied while giggling. She pointed at Sooyoung’s messy hair.

 

“Huh? What’s wrong?”, he asked while furrowing his brows.

 

“Your hair.. it's messy”, she replied, still giggling.

 

“Oh, I didn’t notice it.. hehehe..”, he chuckled. “Could you please hold these for a second?”, he said as he handed the snack pack and drinks to Seohyun.

 

“Let me help you”, Seohyun said as she leaned closer and helped Sooyoung to fix his messy hair. Sooyoung just stood still, watching Seohyun fixing his hair. He stared at the latter.

 

You’re so beautiful!

 

“Okay, done!”, Seohyun said. Sooyoung was startled.

 

“Oh, hmm.. t-thanks”, he stuttered. Seohyun’s sudden act brought a warm flush to his face.

 

“The door is already open now. Shall we go inside?”, Seohyun asked.

 

“Y-yeah, sure”, he said. Since Sooyoung’s hands were occupied with his snack pack and drink cup, Seohyun just wrapped her arm around Sooyoung’s waist, and pulled him lightly by the waist to walk beside her. Again, Sooyoung was startled with her sudden act.

 

Oh god! Please don’t do this to me! I’m afraid I can’t control myself later...

 

“Sooyoungie, what’s our seat number?”, Seohyun asked soon after both of them entered the cinema room. Both of them stopped walking for a while.

 

“Hmm.. 23 and 24 D”, he said. Seohyun’s eyes wandering around, and later she spotted the row of their seat.

 

“Oh, it’s over there. Let’s go”, again, Seohyun pulled Sooyoung by the waist, and both of them walked towards their seat’s row. Their seats located near the end of the row. There were few people who already sat on the seats along the row. Seohyun and Sooyoung needed to walk passed through few seats before they could reach on their seats.

 

“Excuse me, Miss, Sir! Sorry!”, Seohyun said to the girl and her partner who were sitting just next to their seats.

 

“Oh, sorry”, the girl and her partner replied while moving a bit to give a space for both SooSeo couple to walk passed through them.

 

“Alright, you sit here, okay?”, Seohyun said as she ordered Sooyoung to sit next to the girl’s partner. Sooyoung just complied while quickly sitting on his seat. As soon as he trails his back on his seat, suddenly the girl’s partner greeted him.

 

“Hey, Sooyoung ssi!, I didn’t expect that we will be sitting next to each other!”, he said. Sooyoung was so shocked to see the person. He’s no other than Jessica’s boyfriend, Lee Dongwook.

 

“Soo? You’re here too?”, Jessica asked as her eyes widened.

 

“Err.. hi guys! Nice to meet you again, Dongwook ssi”, Sooyoung replied. Seohyun who just watching on them since then leaned closer to Sooyoung.

 

“Sooyoungie, is that Jessica Jung?”, she whispered to Sooyoung.

 

“Yup”, he replied in short. He was about to start talking to Seohyun when suddenly Dongwook elbowed him.

 

“Sooyoung ssi, who’s that girl beside you?”, Dongwook asked him. Sooyoung gulped his saliva.

 

Should I lie about Seohyun, or should I just tell him the truth?

 

“Ermm.. she’s my.. ermm.. she’s my girlfriend”, he replied hesitantly. Again, Jessica’s eyes widened as she was shocked after hearing on Sooyoung’s answer. Seohyun was shocked too, but her lips slowly formed a smile. Her heart beats fast.

 

He said I’m his girlfriend? Oh god! I love you, Sooyoungie!

 

Jessica had mixed feelings after hearing on what Sooyoung has told to her boyfriend. She felt angry because Sooyoung had never told her that he’s already had a girlfriend. And, at the same time, she felt sad because all this while, Sooyoung would accompanied her wherever and  whenever her boyfriend was not with her. Since Sooyoung has already had a girlfriend, she thought Sooyoung will not always be by her side after this. She just keep silent.

 

“Oh! Hmm.. she’s cute”, Dongwook whispered to Sooyoung, but loud enough to be heard by Jessica. She pinched on Dongwook’s arm while giving a glare at her boyfriend.

 

“Oww.. babeee..”, he whined while caressing his sore arm.

 

“Serves you right!”, Jessica sternly said. She just keep on glancing at Sooyoung and Seohyun who were busy talking to each other. Once a while Seohyun will lean closer to Sooyoung as they were talking in intimate way. Jessica felt a slight jealous with them.

 

Not long after, the lights in the room dimmed, indicating that the movie will start soon. Sooyoung immediately concentrated his sight towards the screen while eating his snack, while Seohyun looks a little uncomfortable as she occasionally shivering. The room’s temperature was a bit cold on that time. Sooyoung noticed on it, and he slowly wrapped his arm around Seohyun’s shoulder, and pulled her closer to him. Seohyun was startled.

 

“Feels better?”, he asked while looking at the latter. Seohyun just nodded her head as she’s losing her words. She’s blushing all red, and her heart was pounding. Without they realized, Jessica was watching them with her eyes full of jealousy.

 

Why must I felt jealous with them? Jessica Jung, what has gotten into you? You have Dongwook for god’s sake!

 

“Alright, it starts right now!”, Dongwook whispered excitedly while wrapping his arm on Jessica’s shoulder. Jessica just let out a small smile as the movie wasn’t fun enough for her to watch . She’d rather to watch SooSeo lovey dovey actions than the movie. LOL!

 

After two hours, finally the movie has come to the end. Sooyoung was about to move his arm from Seohyun’s shoulder when suddenly the latter has already fallen asleep. Seohyun’s head was leaning on Sooyoung’s shoulder on that time. Sooyoung just giggled while trying to wake her up.

 

“Seohyunnie, wake up”, he softly said while patting lightly on her cheek. Seohyun was startled with the sudden touch on her cheek, and she quickly sat up straight.

 

“Mianhae, Sooyoungie! I’d fallen asleep”, she weakly said while rubbing her sleepy eyes.

 

“Cute!”, Sooyoung thought. He then turned his head to Dongwook, and his eyeballs were almost popped out as he was shocked to find out that the couple were busy making out and smooching at their seats. Sooyoung suddenly felt his heart sank and hurt. He then tried to act calm as if it was nothing to him.

 

“Seohyunnie, let’s go home”, Sooyoung said while grabbing the latter’s hand, and gently pulled her to get up from her seat.

 

“Okay”, Seohyun replied. Sooyoung then entwined their hands together, and immediately walked from their seats.

 

“Excuse me, guys”, he said with a straight voice. Dongwook and Jessica immediately broke their kiss.

 

“Oh, sorry Sooyoung ssi. Going back already?”, he asked with a smile. Sooyoung felt like wanted to give a punch on his face, but he tried to calm down.

 

“Yeah, my GIRLFRIEND here is tired and sleepy, so, I need to send her home”, Sooyoung replied. Jessica just keep silent while once a while glancing at Seohyun. Seohyun on the other hand still felt sleepy as she was about to fall anytime soon. But, she immediately leaned her body closer on Sooyoung’s back. Jessica keep on staring at her with a jealous look.

 

“Oh, I was about to ask you guys to join us for late night supper, but then, it’s okay. Maybe on next time”, Dongwook said.

 

“Yeah, maybe next time. So, I’ll see you guys around. Nice to meet you again, Dongwook ssi”, Sooyoung said while he and Seohyun walked passed them. Dongwook smiled in return and waved at the couple. Sooyoung then released his hand from Seohyun’s and hugged her by the waist while walking. Seohyun just smiled and slowly wrapped her arm around Sooyoung’s waist. Jessica still keep on staring at the SooSeo couple.

 

Are you trying to make me jealous, Choi Sooyoung?

 

“Babe, whom are you looking at?”, Dongwook asked his girlfriend as he noticed Jessica was still staring at the couple.

 

“Huh? Oh, nothing. I think I’ve seen that girl somewhere”, Jessica lied.

 

“Jinja? I think she must be a staff of the filming agency or production house that you used to work with”, Dongwook replied as he bites her scam. “Alright, can we go back right now? I can’t wait to have you”, Dongwook whispered seductively on Jessica’s ear.

 

“Yah! ert!”, Jessica exclaimed annoyingly as she pushed Dongwook away from her. Dongwook just chuckled. He then got up from his seat, and pulled Jessica’s hand to get up. Both of them then left the cinema’s room.

 

 

At the front of XYZ Talent Agency building

 

“Are you sure you can drive, Hyunnie?”, Sooyoung asked after he stopped his car in front of the building.

 

“Don’t worry, Youngie. I’m fully awake now. Besides, I need to be in the office early in the morning tomorrow. I have a meeting with client”, Seohyun said while caressing Sooyoung’s cheek.

 

“Hmm.. okay, if you say so”, Sooyoung replied. He then went out of his car, and rushed to the passenger’s side to open the door for his Seohyunnie.

 

“Thanks, Youngie”, she said as she went out of the car.

 

“You’re most welcome, Hyunnie”, Sooyoung replied while closing the door. He then leaned closer to Seohyun and hugged her. Seohyun was startled.

 

“Can I just hug you for a while, Hyunnie?”, Sooyoung asked. Seohyun was speechless, but she slowly nodded her head. Sooyoung could feel that Seohyun nodded her head, and he tighten the hug. Seohyun slowly hugged him back.

 

“Youngie, are you okay?”, she asked him in worried tone. Although she was so happy being in Sooyoung’s embrace, but deep inside her heart, she felt worried with his sudden act. She caressed his back gently.

 

“Yeah, I’m okay. I just.. want to hug you”, Sooyoung replied. The scene of Jessica made out with Dongwook keep playing on his mind, and thinking of it only made him felt more furious.

 

Why should I think on her? You’re not worth my time, Jessica..

 

After hugging with each other for a few minutes, Sooyoung slowly released the hug.

 

“I’m sorry, it’s already late. You should go home right now”, he said. Seohyun just smiled in return.

 

“Gwenchana”, Seohyun replied. Sooyoung then walked Seohyun to her car.

 

“Alright, I’ll see you soon, okay? Thanks for going out with me today. I really have a great time with you”, he said.

 

“You’re welcome, Youngie. Me too”, Seohyun replied. Sooyoung then leaned closer and gave a peck on her lips. Seohyun was shocked with his sudden act, and she stood still, frozen.

 

“Hyunnie?”, Sooyoung called her name.

 

“Huh? Y-yes?”, Seohyun stuttered.

 

“I like you”, Sooyoung said with a smile. Again, Sooyoung’s sudden confession has made her dumbfounded. Sooyoung just giggled while looking at her blank expression. He then leaned forward, and wrapped his arms around Seohyun’s slim waist, and kissed on her lips. Seohyun automatically wrapped her hands around Sooyoung’s neck, and she started to return the kiss. Both of them shared their passionate kiss for the first time. They parted their kiss not long after because of the limited air.

 

“Okay, you should go home now”, Sooyoung said while caressing her cheek. Seohyun who has just recovered from dazed slowly nodded her head. Sooyoung opened the car’s door for her.

 

“Youngie”, Seohyun called him before she entered inside the car.

 

“Yes?”, Sooyoung replied while looking at the later.

 

“C-can I see you again?”, she asked shyly.

 

“Sure you can, Hyunnie. You’re my girlfriend right now”, Sooyoung replied smilingly.

 

Girlfriend? He said I’m his girlfriend?

 

“G-girlfriend? Me?”, she asked as she pointed to herself.

 

“No, my girlfriend is over there”, Sooyoung said as he pointed to the elder lady who was sitting at the bus stop not far from the office building.

 

“Youngieeeee.. I’m serious here!”, she cutely whined. Sooyoung laughed his head off.

 

“Alright, alright. Of course it’s you, though!”, he said as he leaned closer and gave another peck on Seohyun’s lips. “Just call me whenever you want us to meet, okay?”, he said softly.

 

“O-okay”, Seohyun replied shyly. She then entered inside the car. Sooyoung helped her to close the car’s door.

 

“Drive safely, okay?”, Sooyoung said.

 

“Okay. Good night, Youngie”, Seohyun replied as she started her car’s engine.

 

“Good night, sweetie”, Sooyoung bid her goodbye. Seohyun waved her hand at him before she started to drive her car, leaving Sooyoung who was still standing while watching his girlfriend’s car moving away from his sight. He then headed back to his car, and quickly slid himself inside. He leaned his back and let out a heavy sigh.

“Choi Sooyoung, what have you done?”, he mumbled before he facepalmed himself.
