Silver lining - Last Part

Few days later, at Incheon Airport

“Babe, have you checked everything inside your luggage?”, Yuri asked while looking at Yoona. She was hugging Yuri’s waist while leaning her head on his shoulder. Yoona just nodded her head. Both of them were sitting at the provided chairs at the waiting area while waiting for Junsu to settle the check-in process at the registration counter. While Geunsuk, her ex-boyfriend and also her model partner was sitting not far from them, reading magazine. Once a while he will glance at the YoonYul couple with a disgust look.

“I feel like want to throw up looking at them. Like they’re the only couple who lived in this world. Such a show off!”, he mumbled to himself, but loud enough to be heard by both YoonYul.

“I heard that, oppa!”, Yoona sternly said as she turned her head to look at Geunsuk, giving her icy glare at the latter. Geunsuk just rolled his eyes annoyingly. Yuri chuckled while looking at his girlfriend and her ex bickering with each other. He really didn’t mind as he already knew their past relationship.

“Let him be, okay?”, Yuri said softly as he tried to calm down his pissed off girlfriend.

After done with the check-in process, Junsu and his assistant then walked towards the waiting area where the team members were sitting.

“Alright, guys. We still got an hour and a half before boarding. You guys can take a break or do whatever you want. I’ll see you guys back here in 30 minutes before we’re boarding, okay?”, Junsu said.

“Dae!”, all of them replied in unison. Junsu then walked towards the YoonYul couple and Geunsuk.

“I want to grab some coffee and pastries at the cafe over there. You guys want to join?”, he asked while pointing at the cafe which located not far from the waiting area.

“Yeah, sure oppa. Come, baby. Kaja!”, Yoona replied as she released her arms from Yuri’s waist and got up from her seat. She pulled Yuri’s hand to help him got up from the seat.

“Geunsuk ssi, do you want to come with us?”, Junsu asked while looking at him.

“Nah, it’s okay, Junsu ssi. Just go ahead”, Geunsuk replied with a faint smile.

“Alright. Let’s go, guys”, Junsu said while leading them to the cafe.

“What’s wrong with him?”, Yoona grunted as soon as she landed her on the chair at the cafe.

“Just let him be, okay babe?”, Yuri replied while rubbing her arm.

“He still hold his grudge against me. How are we going to work together if he still with that ty attitude?”, Yoona said as she let out her frustration towards Geunsuk.

“Haishh... babe. Just please, try to understand on his situation. I’m not siding on him, but, if I were him, of course I will feel hurt seeing my ex with another man. It’s just that he still care about you, that’s what making him hurt more”, Yuri replied as he tried to calm her down.

“The thing is, my dear Kwon Yuri, he’s the one who broke up with me, not the other way around. Why must he hate me because of the decision he himself made without care about my feeling on that time? I’m the one who supposed to feel hurt, not him”, Yoona replied which made him lost on his words. He really don’t know how to persuade her.

“I’ll try to talk to him later, okay? So, now let’s eat”, Junsu said while carrying a tray of pastries and drinks he just ordered from the counter, and placed it on the table.

“No, it’s okay, oppa. Let me deal with him. This is between me and him”, Yoona replied while looking at Junsu. Her manager just let out a soft sigh while placing the cups on the table. The couple then thanked him and started to drink and eat while chatting until it’s time for boarding.

“Don’t flirt with other girls when I’m not around, okay? I mean it!”, Yoona said sternly to Yuri which earns a giggle from the latter. There were at the departure hall on that time.

“I’m not, sweetheart. Don’t worry, okay?”, Yuri replied as he assured her.

“Gosh, I will miss you!”, she pouted while giving a hug to her lover. Yuri just smiled while returning the hug.

“I will miss you too, babe. It’s only for five days, though”, Yuri replied while caressing her cheek.

“Still, it’s too long for me”, she whined. Geunsuk who was standing not far from them just rolling his eyes annoyingly.

“Oh, god! Can’t you guys save that later? This is a public area, for god’s sake!”, he said annoyingly.

“None of your business!”, Yoona snapped at him. Yuri slowly rubbed her back, tried to calm her down. Junsu just shook his head while looking at them.

“Alright, guys. Let’s get in”, he said to the team. All of them started to enter the boarding gate.

Yoona waved at her boyfriend with a sad face. Yuri just giving her an assurance smile while waving at her back.

“What the? Why is your seat next to mine?”, Geunsuk grunted as soon as Yoona sat on the seat next to him.

“How the hell do I know? Like I’m eager to sit next to you!”, Yoona snapped at him. Junsu who’s sitting just behind them shook his head.

“Guys, just cut the crap, will you? We’re about to go to work, not to have a debate. Now, will you guys work like a professional one? Please act like one, will you? I don’t want our agency’s reputation ruin because of the attitude of you two”, Junsu said with a straight voice. Yoona and Geunsuk kept silent while still glaring at each other.

“Sorry, oppa”, Yoona apologized to Junsu.

“Geunsuk ssi, I’m not trying to interfere your personal life here, but, please, just accept the fact that both of you are not meant to be together. Just let yourself free from any grudge or anger that you hold against her. Otherwise, it will always handcuffs you, and you’re not going anyway”, Junsu said as he tried to put a sense on his head. Geunsuk still kept silent as he was in a deep thought. He then slowly let out a sigh.

“I’m sorry”, he apologized to Yoona and smiled faintly. “Junsu ssi was right. I was mad at you because of the stupid decision that I was wrongly made. I shouldn’t treat you like that, Yoong. I’m sorry, okay?”, he said.

“It’s okay, oppa. I understand. So, let’s be friends from now on, okay?”, Yoona replied as he patted on Geunsuk’s hand.

“Okay”, he replied. “Junsu ssi, I’m sorry”, he apologized to Junsu.

“It’s okay, Geunsuk ssi. Let’s work hard together for this project, okay?”, Junsu replied. Geunsuk just nodded his head with a smile.

Meanwhile, at the XYZ Talent Agency

It’s been three days since Seohyun didn’t contact Hyoyeon after the incident at his nightclub. She still felt embarrassed of what had happened, and felt guilty for treating him as such. But deep down in her heart, she kind of missed that shorty guy, so, she decided to call him and reasoned him to have a meeting regarding their CF project. So, while waiting for Hyoyeon to arrive, she fixed herself in front of the mirror in her office.

“KNOCK! KNOCK!”

“Come in!”, she shouted while walking back to her chair, and immediately sat on it.

“Miss Seo, Mr. Hyo is already arrived”, her assistant said while standing at the door.

“Okay, send him in”, she replied. Her assistant nodded her head, and open the door widely to let Hyoyeon to enter the room.

“Good morning, Seo”, Hyoyeon greeted her. Seohyun immediately got up from the chair.

“Good morning to you too, Hyo”, she greeted back. “Let’s sit over there”, Seohyun said as she led him to the couch. She then called her assistant to make coffee for them before she sat on the couch.

“How are you, Hyo?”, Seohyun asked while looking at the latter.

“I’m good. You?”, he replied with a small smile.

“Me too. Ermm.. shall we start our meeting right now?”, She asked.

“Yeah, sure”, he replied in short while shifting his gaze on the file that has been placed on the coffee table.

Both of them started to discuss about the project, and they stopped for a while when Seohyun’s assistant entered the room with a tray of coffee mugs. After she placed the mugs on the table and left the room, both of them continued with their discussion. Once a while Seohyun will glance at him, while Hyoyeon just keep his gazing on the file without even looking at her. Seohyun noticed on the awkwardness between them, and she then started to move to sit next to Hyoyeon. Hyoyeon, on the other hand, felt nervous with her sudden action.

“Hyo, is there something bothering your mind right now?”, she asked while looking at the latter.

“H-huh? N-nothing. I’m okay”, he nervously replied as he quickly took the mug and drank the coffee. Seohyun just smiled over his words.

“I know you do. See, you have mistakenly took my coffee mug”, Seohyun said while pointing at the coffee mug which Hyoyeon was holding.

“Jinja? Oh, I-I’m sorry”, he replied as he immediately put the mug back on the table. Seohyun just chuckled on his clumsy action. Seohyun then sat closer to him. She put her hand on top of Hyoyeon’s hand which has caused the latter flinched on her sudden touch.

“Hyo, if it’s about of what you’ve said to me on last time that have made you become like this, I’m sorry”, she said while caressing his hand.

“H-huh? A-about what?”, Hyoyeon asked as he was in confuse.

“I know you already knew what it is, Hyo. The thing is, I was not ready to let go of my feelings on that time. You know, I just have broke up with Sooyoung, right?”, she continued. Hyoyeon just nodded his head. He just listened intently on what Seohyun wanted to tell him.

“After these days, I’ve been thinking deeply about what had happened between me and him, and you lately. And, I finally realized that there’s no use for me to keep this feeling away from you, when I realized that I liked you too”, she said as her words made Hyoyeon’s eyes grew wide.

“W-what did you say just now?”, Hyoyeon asked while looking at her.

“I like you, Hyo”, Seohyun said with a smile. Hyoyeon immediately pulled his hand from Seohyun’s, and stared at her.

“You’re not saying this because you feel sorry for me, aren’t you?”, Hyoyeon asked in doubt. He suddenly felt like Seohyun wasn't sincere with her words. He felt like she just said all that just because she felt sorry for him. Seohyun was surprised with his words. She felt disappointed.

“Why are you saying like that? Do you think I purposely said that just because I feel sorry for you? You’re stupid, Kim Hyoyeon!”, Seohyun said in anger as she immediately got up from the couch, and walked towards the window that was located next to her desk.   

“Haishh.. why are you saying like that? You’re so stupid, Kim Hyoyeon!”, he thought as he felt guilty. He quickly got up from the couch, and walked towards Seohyun. He slowly wrapped her arms around her waist, back hugging her. Seohyun was startled, and tried to release herself from him, but Hyoyeon tighten the hug. She finally relented, and just let him be.

“I’m sorry, Seo. I’m so sorry for said those hurtful words to you. Yeah, I’m stupid, I know. So, you have to deal with this stupid Kim Hyoyeon later”, Hyoyeon said which earns a giggle from the latter. Seohyun then turned around to face him. Hyoyeon smiled while slowly hugging her, and stared deeply into her eyes.

“I like you, Seo Joohyun. No, I love you. I fall in love with you the first time I met you at the parking space. But, back then I didn’t know that you had already taken. Now, I feel relief that you’re back single, so, I can fall in love with you freely without worries”, Hyoyeon innocently said which earns a laughter from Seohyun. She playfully slapped his arm, and her face flushed. Hyoyeon then leaned his face closer to her, and slowly kissed her lips. Seohyun returned the kiss and slowly wrapped her arms around his neck. But then Hyoyeon immediately pulled off the kiss which made Seohyun startled.

“What’s wrong?”, she asked, looking at Hyoyeon while furrowing her brows.

“You forgot to say something to me”, he said. Seohyun still didn’t get on what he had said.

“Forgot about what?”, she asked as she was in confuse.

“Haishh.. forget about it”, he said in frustration while slowly releasing his hug. He then walked back to sit on the couch.

“Hyo! I really don’t understand. What it is?”, she replied while walking towards the couch, and sat next to him. Hyoyeon let out a sigh before he started to speak.

“You forgot to say the three words like I’ve said to you just now”, he said while looking at her.

“You mean, I like you? Hey, I’ve said it already!”, she exclaimed.

“Nevermind, Seo. Just forget about it”, Hyoyeon replied sulkily while shifting his gaze on the file.

“Haishh..”, Seohyun hissed while grabbing Hyoyeon’s arm, and tried to think of what are the three words that he really wanted her to say. After a while, her lips slowly formed a smile as she already knew what he wants. She plans to .

“Seriously, Hyo. I don’t know what you’re talking about”, Seohyun said as she tried to hold her laughter.

“It’s okay. Just forget it. Can we continue with our discussion right now? I have a meeting with client in one hour time”, he replied as he didn’t smile at all. Seohyun somehow felt guilty for teasing him, but she decided to stick with her plan until they finished with their discussion.

“Alright, I think we can start with casting calls for models by early on next week”, Seohyun said after she closed the file.

“Yeah”, Hyoyeon replied nonchalant. “If nothing else, I think I should go now”, he said as he got up from the couch. He was about to walk to the door when suddenly Seohyun called him.

“Hyo, wait!”, she said as she quickly got up from the couch. Hyoyeon stopped walking, and turned around. Seohyun slowly walked towards him, and stopped when she was standing so close to him.

“Yeah, is there anything else?”, he asked while looking at her. Seohyun just smiled in return, and slowly leaned closer to him. She slowly hugged him, and leaning her face closer to his ear.

“I love you”, she whispered as she buried her face shyly on his neck. Hyoyeon startled at first, but his lips slowly formed a smile.

“So, is this your plan, trying to tease me, huh?”, he said as he smirked. Seohyun just giggled. Hyoyeon then slowly released the hug, and cupped her face. He leaned his face closer to her, and slowly kissed her lips. It was a short kiss at first, but then they slowly deepen the kiss, sharing their first passionate kiss for the first time, as lovers.

“I love you too, Seohyun ah. But, sadly I have to go now. I’ll come back here as soon as my meeting ended, okay?”, Hyoyeon said soon after the parted their kiss.

“Okay, I’ll be waiting”, Seohyun replied smilingly. Hyoyeon smiled at her back, and slowly walked to the door.

“Bye!”, he bid her goodbye before he walked out of the room.

“Bye!”, Seohyun replied, waving her hand at him. She just watched Hyoyeon left the room until the latter disappeared from her sight. She then walking back to the couch, and slumped herself on it. She put one arm on her forehead, and smiling to herself.

“I can’t believe I’m in love again”, she mumbled.
