Later on that afternoon at YulSooTae apartment

 

“Haishh.. I miss her already”, Yuri sighed while staring at his phone screen. It’s his picture with no other than his beloved girlfriend which he set as a wallpaper on his phone. He was sitting on a stool with a bowl of ramyun on the kitchen counter. He just got back from sending her girlfriend at the airport earlier, and was lazy to cook anything for himself as he used to go out having lunch together with his beloved girlfriend.

 

“Missing who?”, a voice suddenly being heard, which causing Yuri to jump off from the stool, and almost spilled his ramyun on the table.

 

“Y-yah!”, he exclaimed while rubbing his chest. He then hit the arm of the owner of the voice.

 

“Oww.. yahh.. that’s hurt!”, the voice owner groaned in pain.

 

“Serves you right, Choi. Who told you to do that?”, Yuri exclaimed while putting his hand on the hips, glaring at the latter.

 

“Oh god! Since when you’d become so sensitive, Kwon?”, he said as he rolled his eyes annoyingly.

 

“Just shut up, Choi! Anyway, why the hell are you here?”, Yuri snapped. Sooyoung curled up his forehead while looking at his housemate.

 

“Wae I can’t be here? I’m living here too, though!”, he exclaimed.

 

“I thought you’re at Jessica’s, pabo. That’s why I’m asking you”, he said annoyingly.

 

“I need to get ready since my parents wanted me to have a dinner with them tonight. My mom asked me to bring Jessica along”, he explained.

 

“Jinja? I thought you’re still not in a good terms with your dad. Did he already give up fighting with you?”, Yuri asked.

 

“How would I know about that? It’s just so out of the blue, though! Besides, it’s been a long time since I had not gone back home after what had happened”, Sooyoung replied.

 

“Whatever it is, Choi Sooyoung, I just want to wish you and Jessica good luck. Hwaiting!”, Yuri said he grinned while doing his fist pump.

 

“That’s very nice of you. Thanks, buddy!”, Sooyoung replied with a smile before he headed back to his room. Yuri just waved his hand, and continued eating his ramyun.

 

Back to XYZ Talent Agency building

 

“KNOCK! KNOCK!”

 

“Come in!”, Seohyun shouted from inside her room while her eyes still glued on the laptop screen.

 

“Hey, babe. Sorry I’m late. The meeting took forever to finish”, Hyoyeon said while walking towards Seohyun’s desk soon after he entered her office room.

 

“Hey, gwenchana”, Seohyun said smilingly as she immediately stopped typing, and got up from her seat. Hyoyeon then leaned closer and gave a peck on Seohyun’s cheek. She was startled with his sudden action, but then her cheeks slowly flushed as she smiled shyly. Hyoyeon just chuckled on her reaction.

 

“What’s that?”, she said as she saw Hyoyeon was hiding something behind his back.

 

“Oh, this is for you”, Hyoyeon said as he took a small bouquet of pink roses that he hid behind his back earlier, and handed it to her.

 

“Hyo, you.. you don’t have to do this”, Seohyun replied hesitantly.

 

“I want to. You’re my girlfriend now. So, let me do whatever I want for you”, he said as he winked at the latter, causing her to giggle. She then took the flower bouquet from his hands, and smelled it.

 

“Thank you”, she thanked him with a smile.

 

“You’re most welcome. So, are you ready for our lunch date?”, he asked.

 

“Yeah, I’m ready”, Seohyun replied. She then walking back to her desk, and took her belongings.

 

“Alright, let’s go”, Hyoyeon said as he grabbed her hand, and intertwined their hands together. Seohyun could felt her heart beating fast the moment Hyoyeon sliding his hand with hers, and grabbed it firmly. Hyoyeon then led her towards the door. Seohyun couldn’t help but to smile while looking at their entwined hands. Both of them then slowly leaving the room.

 

Later on that evening, at Choi’s mansion

 

 

“Baby, I’m nervous”, Jessica said while grabbing Sooyoung’s arm. She felt like having a stomach ache due to her nervousness. Sooyoung just smiled while caressing his hand.

 

“Just relax, okay? They’re just like us, not a president of a country or whatever. Besides, mom is so excited to meet you, I bet my dad too. You know, their one and only son finally bringing his girlfriend home”, Sooyoung said as he tried to calm his nervous girlfriend. Jessica giggled over his words. Both of them still inside of Sooyoung’s car. He stopped his car in front of the mansion’s gate.

 

“You never had a girlfriend before?”, she asked with a sly smile.

 

“Y-yah, who said I don’t have? I do have one!”, Sooyoung exclaimed as he felt insulted by Jessica’s question.

 

“Oh, yeah? Nugu?”, she asked again with a smirk.

 

“In case you have forgot, Miss Jung, let me remind you. Seohyun was my girlfriend before you”, he replied as he rolled his eyes annoyingly. Jessica just giggled.

 

“That’s not counted. I mean, during your school or college time, don’t you have one?”, she asked.

 

“Alright, that’s hurt. Enough with the question, prosecutor Jung. Let’s get out now”, he said as he unbuckled his seatbelt and Jessica’s before he went out of the car. Jessica on the other hand was laughing her head off. At least, by teasing her boyfriend could lessen her nervousness to meet Sooyoung’s parents. Sooyoung then rushed to the other side to open the door for his princess.

 

“Thanks, baby”, Jessica said after she got out of the car.

 

“You’re welcome. Alright, kaja!”, Sooyoung said excitedly while grabbing Jessica’s hand, and intertwined their hands together. They walked towards the gate, and Sooyoung pressed the intercom button, asking the maid to open the gate. After the gate is opened, both of them immediately entered inside, and headed to the mansion’s door.

 

“Welcome back, young master!”, the maid greeted him soon after the door’s opened.

 

“Thank you, ahjumma”, Sooyoung replied with a smile.

 

“Wow! Young master, huh?”, Jessica said in surprise. She never knew that Sooyoung’s family was so rich.

 

“Hehe.. yeah. That’s what they called me since I was a little”, Sooyoung chuckled. The maid then led Sooyoung and Jessica to the living room.

 

“Where’s mom and dad, ahjumma?”, Sooyoung asked as soon as he and Jessica sat on the couch.

 

“They’re still at their room, getting ready I guess. Do you want me to call them?”, the maid asked.

 

“It’s okay, ahjumma. We’ll wait for them”, Sooyoung replied.

 

“Young master, please excuse me. I need to go to the dining room to check on the dinner preparation”, she said as she bowed to Sooyoung and Jessica.

 

“Arasso. Thanks, ahjumma”, Sooyoung replied. The maid then immediately left the living room, heading to the dining room.

 

“Babyyyyyy”, Jessica whined while pouting cutely. Sooyoung couldn’t help but to chuckle on her cute action. He kissed on her pouting lips, and rubbing her back slowly, trying to calm her down.

 

“Just relax, okay babe? Don’t think about what will going to happen too much.

 

“Hey, you guys already here!”, a voice said which made them startled, and immediately turned to the source of the voice. Sooyoung smiled as he quickly stood up, and walked towards the middle-aged woman. She has a look just like Sooyoung. Sooyoung then bowed to her and hugged the middle-aged woman. Jessica knew she must be Mrs. Choi, Sooyoung’s mother.

 

“How are you, mom?”, Sooyoung asked after he kissed on her cheek.

 

“I’m doing good, Youngie. How about you?”, she replied while patting on her son’s back.

 

“I’m good too”, Sooyoung said and slowly released the hug. Mrs. Choi then glanced at Jessica while smiling. She walked towards her. Jessica immediately got up from the couch, and bowed to her.

 

“And.. you must be Jessica, right?”, she asked while scanning her from head to toe.

 

“Y-yes, M-Mrs. Choi”, Jessica replied as she stuttered. Mrs. Choi then leaned closer and hug her. Jessica was surprised by her sudden action.

 

“It’s auntie, sweetie”, Mrs. Choi said while patting on Jessica’s back.

 

“A-auntie”, Jessica replied nervously.

 

“Don’t be nervous, sweetie. I’m not going to eat you, though!”, Mrs. Choi said as she . Sooyoung laughed on her mother’s words. She then released the hug.

“She’s a shy girl, mom”, Sooyoung said teasingly which earning a smack on his arm from Jessica. Mrs. Choi just giggled while looking at them.

 

“Ehemmm!”, suddenly they were startled by a loud voice of someone clearing his throat. The three of them immediately turned to the source of the voice. Sooyoung’s face expression suddenly changed after he knew the owner of the voice. Jessica noticed on his sudden change, and she immediately grabbed Sooyoung’s arm, and caressed it gently. Sooyoung just let out a small smile while looking at her.

 

“It’s been awhile, son. How’s your life?”, the person, no other than Sooyoung’s father, Mr. Choi asked. Sooyoung bowed to her, followed by Jessica.

 

“My life’s better, dad”, he replied nonchalant. Mrs. Choi noticed on the awkwardness of the conversation between a father and a son, immediately interrupted.

 

“Ermm.. I’m going to check on the maids whether the dinner is ready or not. Come, Jessica, let’s go to the dining room”, Mrs. Choi said while grabbing Jessica’s arm. Jessica just complied, and followed Mrs. Choi from behind, leaving the Choi senior and junior at the living room. Sooyoung was about to follow them when suddenly Mr. Choi stopped him.

 

“Sooyoung, can we have a talk for a while?”, he said. Sooyoung sighed.

 

“Okay”, he replied as he stood still. Mr. Choi then walked to the couch, and sat on it.

 

“Have a sit first, son”, he said. Sooyoung just dragging his heavy feet, walking towards the couch. He chose to sit a bit far from his father. Mr. Choi sighed softly before he started to speak.

 

“Sooyoung, I know that you’re still mad at me. I’m sorry for saying those harsh words to you before. I’m sorry for chasing you out of the house. I’m sorry for not understand your dreams. It’s just, I was angry and disappointed at you at that time because you didn’t want to follow of what I wanted you to be. You are my one and only son who will inherited our family business. Can we just forget about what had happened, and back as a one family just like we used to be?”, Mr. Choi said.

 

“Why are you saying like that, dad? Aren’t you forget that Soojin noona is your child and heirs too?”, Sooyoung replied sarcastically.

 

“I know son, I know. Your noona has been handling our branch at U.S. for so many years, and I also had entrusted her to take care of our business there because she’s also a Choi’s heir, just like you. It’s just that I’ve no one to rely on here except you, son. I hope you will understand that someday”, Mr. Choi said with a sad tone. Sooyoung felt guilty on what he had done to his father all this while. He knew he had become selfish for he wanted to pursue his dream to become a film director, until he didn’t realize that he had broke his father’s heart. He sighed heavily, and got up from the couch. He slowly walked towards his father, and sat next to him. He took his father’s hand, and caressed it gently.

 

“I’m sorry too, dad. I’m sorry for being such a selfish brat son. I’ve broke your heart, dad. I’m sorry”, Sooyoung apologized. Mr. Choi smiled while patting his hand.

 

“It’s okay, son. You know what, come to think of it, it’s cool to have a son who’s working in entertainment industry”, Mr. Choi said jokingly, tried to cheer him up. Sooyoung laughed over his words.

 

“Yah! What are you talking about? I thought you want me to work with you?”, Sooyoung furrowed his brows while looking at his father. Mr. Choi chuckled.

 

“Son, do you think I still stand a chance to become an actor? You know, I can meet some famous actors and actress”, he asked.

 

“Dad, think before you said. Do you want mom to kill you when she found out about this?”, Sooyoung replied with a sly smile. Both of them then burst out with laughing. Without they realized, Mrs. Choi and Jessica were eavesdropping their conversation not far from the living room. Both of them smiled widely while looking at each other.

 

“Good job, Jessica. I think falling in love with you have changed him a lot, huh?”, Mrs. Choi said while patting on Jessica’s shoulder. Jessica just smiled shyly which earns a giggle from her boyfriend’s mother.

 

“Alright, since they’re already in a good terms, let’s call them for dinner”, Mrs. Choi said while grabbing Jessica’s hand, and both of them walked towards the living room.

 

“Honey, Youngie, dinner is ready. Come, let’s have a dinner!”, Mrs. Choi said soon after she and Jessica approached them.

 

“Alright, let’s have a dinner”, Mr. Choi said while patting on Sooyoung’s shoulder. Both father and son got up from the couch. Sooyoung then signaled Jessica to come near him. Jessica shyly walked to Sooyoung and stood beside him.

 

“Ermm.. dad. I want to introduce you to my..”, Sooyoung was about to continue his words when suddenly his father cut him off.

 

“I know. Your girlfriend, right? Your mom have told me before. Nice to meet you, Jessica ssi”, Mr. Choi said while looking at Jessica and smiled. Sooyoung immediately shifted his gaze towards his mother. Mr. Choi winked at him which makes him giggled.

 

“N-nice to meet you, Mr. Choi”, Jessica replied nervously.

 

“It’s uncle, Jessica. Just call me uncle from now on, okay?”, Mr. Choi said.

 

“O-okay, uncle”, she replied shyly.

 

“She’s beautiful, Sooyoung”, Mr. Choi said which later earning a pinch on his arm from Mrs. Choi.

 

“Ouchh!”, he pouted while caressing the spot where he got pinched from his wife. Both Sooyoung and Jessica laughing their head off.

 

“Alright, kids, let’s go to the dining room”, Mrs. Choi said while grabbing Jessica’s hand, and walking towards the dining room, followed by Mr. Choi and Sooyoung from behind.

 

The next morning with TaeNy

 

Taeyeon was standing in front of the mirror while buttoning the last button on his shirt. He was getting ready to back to work today after leaving it for several days to accompany his fiance at home. Tiffany was sitting on the bed, watching her TaeTae getting ready while pouting. Both of them were at Taeyeon’s bedroom at his parent’s residence. Taeyeon noticed on her pouting face through the mirror. He smiled while turning around and walked to the bed. He then sat next to his fiancee while slowly wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

 

“Wae?”, he asked.

 

“Do you have to go to work?”, Tiffany childishly asked which earns a chuckle from her TaeTae.

 

“Y-yah! Why are you laughing? I’m asking you seriously here!”, she exclaimed while slapping his thigh. Taeyeon just smiled and patted her back head gently.

 

“Yes, sweetheart. From now on, I’m the head of our family. I’ll become a father soon, so, I need to be more responsible. I need to work to support my family”, he replied while his other hand slowly rubbing on Tiffany’s flat stomach. Tiffany couldn’t help but to smile over his sweet words.

 

“That’s very sweet of you, baby. But, I’m worried”, she said. Taeyeon curled his forehead.

 

“Worried? About what?”, he asked.

 

“What if there’s a y lady who will become your passenger want to court you?”, she asked innocently. Taeyeon burst into laughter, which later earns a glare from his mushroom. He immediately covered his mouth with his hand.

 

“I will not allow her to do so. I will tell her to back off because I’ve already had a y lady in my life, and I’m soon-to-be a father to our child”, he replied smilingly. Tiffany giggled over his answer. She then leaned her head on his shoulder while caressing his thigh.

 

“Hmm.. I will feel bored without you the whole day”, she whined while playing with Taeyeon’s fingers. Taeyeon just smiled and kissed on top of her head.

“I will try to come home as early as possible, okay? Besides, mom and Hayeon are here to accompany you”, Taeyeon said while patting her back head. “Alright, let’s go downstairs”, he said as he slowly released himself from his fiancee, and stood up from the bed. He slowly pulled Tiffany’s hands, and helped her to get up from the bed. They intertwined their hands together and slowly walked out of the room.
