At the Star Agency building

 

“Alright, is there anything else that you want to ask before we end this meeting?”, Mr. Lee asked his staff, including Sooyoung. All of them shook their heads, indicating that they have no further questions to ask, except Sooyoung. Mr. Lee then shifted his gaze to Sooyoung who seemed aloof.

 

“Sooyoung, do you have anything that you want to ask?”, Mr. Lee asked. Sooyoung who was still his own world suddenly startled.

 

“Huh? W-what did you ask just now, Mr. Lee?”, he asked him back. Mr. Lee just shook his head, while the rest just giggled while looking at Sooyoung. His face flushed.

 

“I said, is there anything that you want to ask before we end this meeting?”, Mr. Lee repeated his question.

 

“Oh, n-no. There’s nothing more, uncle”, Sooyoung replied.

 

“Alright, good. So, I’ll see you guys on this Thursday. We probably will have one last meeting before we can start with the casting interview”, Mr. Lee said as he got up from the chair.

 

“Dae!”, all of them stood up and bowed to Mr. Lee. He bowed to them back before he walked out of the meeting room with his assistant. The rest then slowly leaving the meeting room, except Sooyoung. After making sure all of them were already out of the room, he then took his phone from his pants pocket, and scrolled a certain number. He immediately dialled the number. After several ringing, the person then finally picked up the call.

 

“Yoboseyo?”, the person answered with sleepy voice.

 

“Hey, babe. Sorry for disturbing your sleep”, he said smilingly.

 

“Hey, it’s okay. How’s the meeting?”, the person asked while yawning cutely. Sooyoung just giggled.

 

“The meeting went well. Listen, I’ll pick you up this afternoon, and we can have our lunch together. Is it okay for you?”, Sooyoung asked.

 

“Anything is okay with me as long as it’s with you”, the person replied shyly.

 

“Cheeky!”, Sooyoung said while giggling. “Alright, I need to hang up now. I’ll see you soon, okay?”, Sooyoung said.

 

“Okay. Bye, I love you!”, the person replied.

 

“Bye, love you too!”, he said as he ended the call. He kept on smiling while looking at his phone screen. His smile soon faded away when he shifted back his gaze at the notes on his organizer that he had jotted down during the meeting.

 

“Haishh.. out of so many actors in Korea, why must be him?”, he grumbled.

 

Later on that afternoon

 

Yoona was waiting for Yuri to pick her up at the lobby to have their lunch together. While waiting for her lover to come, he continued to read the fashion magazine that have been put on the coffee table at the lobby area. While she was reading the magazine, suddenly a pair of hands covered her eyes. She knew the owner of the hands as she’s so familiar with the smell of the perfume the person was wearing. So, she just decided to play along with the person’s game.

 

“Guess who?”, the person asked.

 

“Jang Geun Suk oppa?”, she replied as she teased. She tried to hold her laughter. Suddenly she felt the person immediately released his hands from her eyes.

 

“You’re no fun, you know!”, the person grumbled sulkily. He then walked towards Yoona and sat next to her.

 

“Aww.. are you mad at me, Yulbaby?”, she gigglingly said as she cupped his face and gave a peck on his lips. She then saw a small bouquet of pink and white roses on the coffee table. Her eyes widened.

 

“Is that for me?”, she asked excitedly while releasing her hands from Yuri’s face. She was about to take the flower bouquet when suddenly Yuri took it away.

 

“Nope, this is for my new lover. I think she’s not in here, so, excuse me, I’ve got to go now”, Yuri playfully said. He was about to get up from the couch when suddenly Yoona pulled his hand to sit back on the couch.

 

“You want to die, Kwon Yuri?”, Yoona sternly said while giving her icy stare at Yuri. Yuri gulped his saliva, looking at his lover nervously.

 

“W-what? A-aniyo! I-I’m just kidding! Hehehe...”, he chuckled nervously.

 

“Cheat on me once, you know what I’m capable to do to you, always remember that!”, Yoona said as she leaned her face closer to Yuri’s while grabbing his collar.

 

“Y-yes, sweetheart. I’ll always remember that”, he stuttered nervously. Yoona then slowly released his collar and smiled. Yuri somehow found her smile was creepy.

 

“Good. Now, give that to me”, she said as she pointed to the flower bouquet that was still in Yuri’s hand. Yuri immediately handed the bouquet to her.

 

“T-this is for you, my love. Sorry, I was just kidding earlier.. hehehe..”, again, he chuckled nervously.

 

“Thank you, sweetie. So, shall we go now?”, she said as she got up from the couch. She then pulled Yuri’s hands, and helped him to get up from the couch.

 

“Yeah, let’s”, he said. Yoona then linked her arm through his, and both of them immediately walked out of the building, heading to Yuri’s car.

 

At the Seoul Hospital

 

Taeyeon was pacing back and forth as he felt so worried with Tiffany’s condition at the moment. It’s has been two hours since Tiffany was admitted to the emergency room soon after the ambulance arrived at the hospital. While Siwon just sat on the provided chair, facepalming himself. A few minutes later, he heard the sound of footsteps heading towards them. Taeyeon and Siwon immediately turned to look at where the sound were coming from.

 

“Taetae!”, Mrs. Kim, Taeyeon’s mother rushed towards her son. She then immediately hugged Taeyeon. Mr. Kim just followed her from behind. Both of them looked so worried. Taeyeon had called his parents earlier and informing them that Tiffany has been admitted to the hospital because she had fell down on the floor. Both of them were shocked as they immediately rushed to the hospital.

 

“How’s Tiffany?”, she asked as she immediately released the hug.

 

“Still don’t know about her condition yet, mom”, Taeyeon said while pointing at the emergency room’s door.

 

“Calm down, okay? Let’s pray that she’ll be fine”, Mr. Kim said as he gave a gentle squeeze on his son’s shoulder. Taeyeon nodded his head.

 

“Thanks for coming mom, dad”, Taeyeon said. Both Mr. and Mrs. Kim then turned to look at Siwon. Siwon just gave a small smile and bowed to them.

 

“Who’s that young man, son?”, Mrs. Kim asked Taeyeon.

 

“He’s... his name is Choi Siwon, mom. He’s.. Tiffany’s ex-boyfriend”, Taeyeon replied hesitantly.

 

“What?”, Both Mr. and Mrs. Kim said in unison with a shocked expression on their faces upon hearing their son’s words. Mr. Kim then walked towards Siwon, and sat next to him. Siwon immediately got up and bowed to him. Mr. Kim gestured him to sit down.

 

“Is that true, young man?”, Mr. Kim asked. Siwon just nodded his head and smiled faintly. Mr. Kim sighed. He never knew that all this while, his son has fell in love with a girl who is already belongs to someone else. He was about to ask further when suddenly the emergency room’s door swung opened. A middle-aged woman with a white coat came out of the room. Taeyeon immediately rushed to her, followed by Siwon, Mr. & Mrs. Kim at behind.

 

“How’s her condition, doctor?”, Taeyeon asked the doctor worriedly.

 

“Are you her husband?”, the doctor asked him.

 

“N-no. I’m her boyfriend”, Taeyeon replied. His heart was pounding as he had mixed feelings at the moment, waiting for the doctor's answer.

 

“Hmm.. apart from having a bleeding, the mother is fine”, the doctor said.

 

“W-what about the baby, doctor?”, Taeyeon asked nervously. The doctor just smiled as she noticed on Taeyeon’s worriedness.

 

“The baby is fine too, don’t worry”, the doctor said as she patted on Taeyeon’s shoulder. All of them sighed in relief.

 

“C-can we visit her now?”, he asked again.

 

“Just give them 20 minutes to transfer her to the other room, okay? The nurse will inform you once it’s done”, the doctor replied. “Alright, I have to go now”, the doctor said.

 

“Thank you so much, doctor”, Taeyeon replied and bowed to her. The doctor just smiled in return before she left them and headed to her room.

 

“Thank god she’s fine, Taetae!”, Mrs. Kim said. Mr. Kim on the other hand still felt curious about Siwon and Taeyeon’s matter.

 

“Both of you, can you please come here for a second?”, Mr. Kim called for Taeyeon and Siwon, and gestured them to sit on the provided chairs. Taeyeon and Siwon just followed his order, and they immediately sat on the chair.

 

“Alright, tell me something I don’t know. What was happened actually with the three of you?”, Mr. Kim asked in a serious tone. Taeyeon then let out a sigh before he started to tell his father about their triangle love case until the incident happened.

 

“So, that explained all the bruises which both of you got on the face, huh?”, he said. Siwon and Taeyeon just kept silent, didn’t dare to answer Mr. Kim’s question. Mr. Kim just shook his head in disbelief.

 

“I can’t believe this going to be happen to the three of you. I’ve got nothing to say. You guys need to solve this problem this instant for the sake of your future”, Mr. Kim said. Siwon and Taeyeon just kept silent. Mr. Kim then got up from his seat, and walked towards Siwon.

 

“Siwon ssi, I would like to apologize on behalf of my son here for the problem that has been caused by him”, Mr. Kim said as he bowed to Siwon.

 

“W-what the? What are you doing, dad?”, Taeyeon said while looking at his father. Siwon immediately got up from his seat and holding on Mr. Kim’s shoulders.

 

“Uncle, please don’t do like this. I-I was wrong too. I.. I was only concerned with my career without thinking about other person’s feeling that I’m going to leave at that time. Taeyeon ssi is a good man, uncle. He took care of Tiffany because I asked him to do so. I couldn't blame on them because we never knew exactly how heart works. We couldn't help ourselves on whom we're going to fall in love with, nor predict the future”, he said in a sad tone.

 

His words made Taeyeon realized that the three of them were hurting. He felt a sudden twinge of guilt for betraying his friendship between Siwon and Tiffany, moreover he had caused him and Tiffany broke up. He felt guilty for making his parents involved in their complicated love life problem.

 

“I’m sorry, Siwon ssi. It’s.. it’s all my fault”, Taeyeon said as he lowered his head down. Siwon then walked towards Taeyeon, and patted his shoulder.

 

“Gwenchana, Taeyeon ssi. Tiffany has told me earlier that she’s already fell out of love with me. Take a good care of her, will you?”, Siwon replied as he held out his hand to shake hands with Taeyeon. Taeyeon smiled faintly and shook hands with him.

 

“Excuse me! Who’s Mr. Kim Taeyeon?”, the nurse suddenly called Taeyeon. Taeyeon turned his head towards the nurse.

 

“I’m Kim Taeyeon”, he said while walking towards the nurse.

 

“Mr. Kim, Miss Hwang has already been transferred to the other room. You can visit her at room number 108”, the nurse informed him.

 

“Alright. Thank you so much, ma’am”, he thanked the nurse.

 

“You’re welcome”, the nurse replied before she headed back to the emergency room. All of them then immediately headed to the said room.

 

As soon as they arrived in front of the room, Taeyeon slowly pulled the door knob, and entered inside, followed by his parents and Siwon. They saw Tiffany was lying on the bed with an IV tube on her right arm. The nurse who was in the room at that moment told them that they just put her to sleep right after they transferred her into the room. The nurse then left the room.

 

Taeyeon slowly walked towards the bed, and sat on the chair next to the bed. He gently her hair, and stared at his girlfriend.

 

“Babe, I’m here”, he whispered. There’s no response from the latter. He then got up and leaned closer to kiss her forehead.

 

“Taetae. Me, your dad and Siwon ssi will be going to the cafe downstairs to get some drinks. Just give me a call whenever she will awake later, okay?”, Mrs. Kim said as she gestured her husband and Siwon to give them some time alone.

 

“Okay, mom”, Taeyeon replied while looking at his mother. The three of them then slowly left  the room. Taeyeon then sat back on the chair. He took her hand, and caressed it gently.

 

“Babe, wake up, please”, he said while staring at his girlfriend who was lying helpless on the bed. Tiffany still in a deep sleep because of the effect of the sedition. He let out a sigh, and rested his head on top of his arms on the bed. He then slowly dozed off.

 

“T-taetae...”, he then heard a weak voice calling his name. He felt like a hand was caressing his back hair.

 

“Huh?”, he startled as he was still in dazed. He then slowly opened his eyes, and was surprised to see that his beloved girlfriend has already awake.

 

“T-tiff? Babe? Oh, thank god! You’re already awake!”, he said excitedly as he immediately got up from the chair and sat at the edge of the bed. He then leaned closer and gave a peck on her cheek.

 

“Taetae, how’s our baby?”, Tiffany asked as she tried to get up.

 

“Babe, slow down, okay? You’re still weak”, he said while helping Tiffany to sit on the bed. He stacked a pillow on her back, and helped her to lean her back on the pillow. Tiffany then patted the bed, wanting her Taetae to sit next to her. Taeyeon just complied, and moved to sit next to Tiffany. She then leaned her head on his shoulder, and took his hand while caressing it gently.

 

“Taetae, just tell me about our baby’s condition, I’m ready”, she weakly said. Taeyeon just smiled and patted her head gently.

 

“Nothing to worry, sweetheart. Our baby is okay and healthy”, Taeyeon said softly.

 

“Really?”, she asked for assurance. Taeyeon nodded his head smilingly.

 

“Oh, god! You just don’t know how worried I am. I was afraid that our baby..”, she lost for words as her voice started to crack. Taeyeon slowly pulled her to his embrace.

 

“Shh... it’s okay, babe. Nothing will happen. Remember I had promised that I will take care of you and our baby, right?”, he said as he rubbed her back gently, tried to soothe her. Tiffany nodded her head slowly.

 

“I tell you what, I’ll ask mom to take care of you after this. So, at least there’s someone who can accompany you while I’m not around. I’ll leave you at my house when I go to work, okay?”, Taeyeon suggested.

 

“Okay”, she replied. Taeyeon smiled and kiss on top of her head.

 

“Babe, I’ve something for you”, he said as he slowly released himself from Tiffany.

 

“What is it, Taetae?”, she asked while looking at her boyfriend. Taeyeon just smiled and immediately got up from the bed. He stood still while grabbing something from his pants pocket. He took out a small red box from it, and he slowly kneeling down on the floor. He opened the box, and shoved it in front of his girlfriend. Tiffany somehow knew what he’s going to do as she started to sob.

 

“Tiffany Hwang Miyoung, I know I’m not as good as what you’re expected. But try me, I’m willing to do anything for you, to make you happy, and to provide you with all your needs. I’m more than ready to start a family with you, and now that we have our baby on the way. I hope you’ll have the same vision as mine, to start our new episode of life together, and to have a one happy family, just like what our parents have. I love you so much, and I don’t want to lose you. So, Tiffany Hwang Miyoung, will you please marry me?”, Taeyeon said while staring into her eyes. Tiffany on the other hand was crying while nodding her head.

 

“G-get up now.. and come here, Taetae”, she said while sobbing. Taeyeon just giggled and quickly got up from kneeling. Tiffany then shoved her hand, wanting Taeyeon to put the ring on her finger. Taeyeon gladly put the ring, and kiss her hand once he had done with it.

 

“I love you too, pabo. Our baby will be so proud to have a daddy just like you”, she said as she held out her arms. Taeyeon then leaned closer and hugged her tight.

 

“Let’s get married once you’re well enough, okay?”, Taeyeon said softly.

“Okay”, she said while nodding her head smilingly.
