I Miss You

 

Later on that afternoon - with SooSica

 

Sooyoung stopped his car in front of Jessica’s apartment building. She told Sooyoung earlier to come straight to her apartment because she had just woken up and still not shower yet.

 

“Haishh.. this sleepyhead!”, he grunted while getting out of his car. After making sure the car has locked, he then walked to the building’s main entrance, and headed straight away to the elevator.

 

“DING!”

 

The elevator stopped on the floor which Jessica’s apartment was located. Sooyoung went out of it, and immediately headed to his girlfriend’s apartment.

 

“DING! DONG!”

 

He pressed the doorbell button. The door has yet to open.

 

“DING! DONG! DING! DONG!”

 

He pressed again. Still, no progress.

 

“Don’t tell me she’s still sleeping”, he mumbled while grabbing his pants pocket and took his phone. He immediately dialed Jessica’s number. After several ringing, Jessica answered the call.

 

“H-hello?”, her weak voice answered.

 

“Are you still sleeping, Jessica Jung?”, Sooyoung asked.

 

“Huh? Baby? W-where are you?”, she frantically asked.

 

“I’m already here. Please open the door now”, he said.

 

“Okay, okay. Wait there”, Jessica replied. He then heard a rumble sound on the line. He just giggled and pressed the end button.

 

“Oh, god. She never changed!”, he mumbled. A few minutes later, the door swung opened. Jessica who was still in her pyjama immediately jumped on him and hugged him like a koala bear. She then smashed her lips on his, and both of them shared their kiss passionately.

 

“I’m so sorry, baby. I just woke up”, she said after they broke the kiss.

 

“I knew it. Such a sleepyhead!”, he said as he teased.

 

“Y-yah! I’m sleepy because I’m tired!”,  she snapped as her face flushed. Sooyoung was laughing while carrying her to enter inside the apartment. Yeah, Jessica indeed told him the truth. She's tired because she slept late last night. Wonder what she's doing? She kept on spazzing about her Sooyoungie all night long.. LOL!

 

“What have you eaten, Jessica Jung? You’re so god damn heavy!”, Sooyoung playfully asked while closing the door using his foot. Jessica smacked his arm.

 

“Just put me down!”, she exclaimed.  

 

“I don’t want to”, Sooyoung replied as he continued to walk towards the couch, and slumped himself with his lover on the comfy couch. They then continued their smooching for several minutes until both of them ran out of breath.

 

“I miss you”, Jessica said while staring lovingly into Sooyoung’s eyes.

 

“Really?”, Sooyoung raised his brows as he . Jessica pouted and playfully smacked on his chest. Sooyoung laughed and grabbed her hand that has hitted his chest, and kissed it gently.

 

“I miss you too, Jessica Jung. So so much”, Sooyoung said which makes Jessica blushed. She then hugged him tight as she rested her head on his chest. Sooyoung smiled while caressing her back hair.

 

“Baby, can we just not go out for lunch?”, Jessica said as she played with Sooyoung’s shirt button.

 

“Wae?”, he asked as he furrowed his brows.

 

“I don’t feel like going out today. I just want to spend my time with you here”, she replied. Sooyoung just let out a soft chuckle upon hearing her words.

 

“Yah! Why are you laughing?”, she snapped at him.

 

“You’re actually want to continue your sleep, don’t you?”, he said teasingly. Jessica pouted as she released herself from Sooyoung’s embrace, and got up from the couch. She then walked to her bedroom. Sooyoung knew she was mad at him for teasing her.

 

“Haishh..”, he slowly got up from the couch, and headed to Jessica’s bedroom. He saw Jessica was lying by her side facing the wall while crossing her arms. Sooyoung slowly crawling on the bed, and lying next to her sulking girlfriend while back hugging her.

 

“Babe, I’m sorry, okay? I was just teasing you”, he said as he tried to coax her. Jessica then let out a soft sigh and uncrossed her arms. She put her arms on top of Sooyoung’s.

 

“I know. I was overreacting, am I?”, she replied. Sooyoung just smiled and kissed on her back head.

 

“No, you’re not, sweetheart. But, I really want to take you out for lunch. Can you do that for me? Pretty please with a cherry on top?”, Sooyoung said while giving his puss in boots pleading eyes. Jessica chuckled as she released her arms and turned her body around to face her boyfriend.

 

“Arasso. But, what will I get in return?”, she asked with a sly smile.

 

“I’ll take you for shopping. You can buy whatever you want, it’s on me. I promise”, he said smilingly.

 

“Alright, I’m in!”, she replied excitedly while giving a peck on Sooyoung’s lips, and quickly got up from the bed. She then took her towel and ran lightly to the bathroom.

 

“Aigoo.. this little girl!”, Sooyoung mumbled while giggling. He then got up from the bed, and walked out of the bedroom.

 

Meanwhile, at Seohyun’s office

 

“Hmm.. he said he had a meeting this morning. I bet the meeting should be finished by this time”, she mumbled while glancing at her wristwatch. She let out a sigh and leaned her back on the chair. “I miss you, Youngie”, she mumbled again. She then startled with the knocking sound on the door.

 

“KNOCK! KNOCK!”

 

“Come in!”, she shouted. The door slowly opened.

 

“Miss Seo, your client is already here”, her assistant said.

 

“Okay, send her in”, she replied. Her assistant nodded and quickly went back outside to call the client. Seohyun continued her typing on her laptop.

 

“Annyeong, Seohyun ssi!”, the client greeted her. Seohyun immediately shifted her head towards the owner of the voice. Her eyes widened as she quickly got up from her chair.

 

“You?”, she said in surprise.

 

“Yes, it’s me. It’s nice to meet you again, Seohyun ssi”, the client said.

 

“Nice to meet you again too, Hyoyeon ssi”, she replied while walking towards Hyoyeon. “Please have a seat”, she said as she led Hyoyeon to the couch.

 

“Thanks”, he said while following Seohyun heading towards the couch.

 

“Wow, I never thought that the client that I’m going to meet today is you”, she said as she’s still felt surprised.

 

“Yeah, what a small world, isn’t it?”, he said as he chuckled. Seohyun just smiled over his words.

 

“Yeah. Anyway, are you the representative of the company? Because, as what my assistant told me on yesterday, I’m supposed to meet your CEO, Nicole Jung, am I right?”, Seohyun asked. Hyoyeon’s face suddenly changed. He then smiled faintly.

 

“Yes, you’re right, Seohyun ssi. My PA has forgot to mention my name to your assistant. Nicole Jung is actually my wife. I just took over her company few months ago after she...”, he paused before he continued. “...after she passed away”, he said hesitantly. Seohyun was dumbfounded.

 

“Oh, god! I-I’m so sorry to hear that, Hyoyeon ssi”, she replied, still in shock.

 

“Gwenchana, Seohyun ssi”, Hyoyeon said as he let out a small smile.

 

“Ermm.. Hyoyeon ssi..”, Seohyun was about to continue to speak when suddenly Hyoyeon cut her off.

 

“Just called me Hyoyeon or Hyo”, he said.

 

“Ermm.. H-Hyo, if you don’t mind, can I know the cause of you late wife’s death?”, she asked cautiously. Hyoyeon nodded his head.

 

“Yeah, sure. She died because of the car accident while she was on the way to meet her client. She was in coma for a month because of the head injury. The doctor said her chance to live was 80-20, so they asked for my permission to take off her life support machine. You know, I felt reluctant at first, but I don’t want to torture her. I.. I realized that I have to let her go..”, he replied with a faint smile. Seohyun then moved forward and grabbed his hand, tried to comfort him.

 

“It must be hard for you”, Seohyun said.

 

“At first, yeah. But life must go on, and I decided to sell our house because I don’t want to let myself drowning in sadness because of her death. And then, I moved to my old apartment, which happened to be at the same place as yours. Again, it’s just a small world, isn’t it?”, he replied while giggling. Seohyun couldn’t help herself but to giggle too.

 

“Yeah, you’re right. I’m so sorry for taking your time in telling me about your personal matter. If you don’t mind, can we start our discussion now?”, Seohyun said.

 

“It’s okay, Seohyun ssi. Yeah, sure”, Hyoyeon replied.

 

“Just call me Seohyun or Seo from now on, okay?”, she said.

 

“Okay. Err.. Seo, if you don’t mind, can we have our discussion while having lunch? I’m kinda hungry since I didn’t take my breakfast this morning”, Hyoyeon asked while patting his stomach. Seohyun just chuckled.

 

“Hmm.. okay. But, it’s on me, okay? You’ve helped me to change my car’s tire this morning, so I need to repay you for helping me”, she insisted.

 

“You don’t have to, Seo. But, come to think of it, it’s a free food for me today, baybee, so, I really can’t resist it”, he said with his dorky smile. Seohyun couldn’t help but to laugh over his words.

 

“You’re funny, Hyo. Alright, let’s don’t waste our time. Otherwise you’ll get sick later”, Seohyun said as she immediately grabbed her handbag and car keys and got up from her chair.

 

“Ermm.. Seo, can we go with my car?”, Hyoyeon said as he too got up from the couch.

 

“Hmm.. okay. Let’s”, Seohyun replied. Both of them then went out of the room.

 

At the restaurant

 

Yuri has planned to bring Yoona to his favorite restaurant, which happened to be his housemate’s favorite restaurant too. As soon as they entered inside, the waiter welcomed them, and guided them to the vacant table. He then laid the menu for them to place their orders.

 

“What do you want to eat, babe?”, Yuri asked while his eyes busy scanning through the menu.

 

“Hmm.. I want to have lunch set number 2”, she replied and put the menu back on the table. Yuri’s eyes widened as the set were contained lots of dishes that can be eaten by two persons.

 

“Babe, are you sure you want to order that?”, Yuri asked while looking at his girlfriend.

 

“Yeah, why?”, Yoona replied as she furrowed her brows.

 

“You need to control your food taking, sweetheart. You will going to start your photo shoot on next week, remember?”, he said in concern. Yoona hissed and pouted. The waiter chuckled on her act, which later earning an icy glare from Yoona. He suddenly stopped and hung his head low. Yuri let out a soft sigh, and he signaled the waiter to just taking their orders. The waiter nodded and immediately left their table. He moved his chair to put it close to Yoona’s chair. He caressed her hand gently, trying to calm down his girlfriend who was sulking.

 

“Babe, I’m sorry, okay? I didn’t mean to cut down your food taking. It’s just that you need to put more concern since you’ve put on weight on last time. Besides, my boss will strangle me to death if he found out my client’s body shape doesn’t meet the expectation of our fitness training”, he said in serious tone. Yoona suddenly covered and laughed as she found her boyfriend’s words funny. Yuri couldn’t help but to laugh with her too.

 

“There, I managed to make you laugh”, he said with a smile.

 

“Well, well, well, look who’s here!”, suddenly a familiar voice interrupted. Yuri immediately turned his head to look at the owner of the voice. He was surprised.

 

“Yah! What are you doing here?”, he snapped at the person.

 

“Obviously to eat, you pabo!”, the person snapped at him back. He then leaned closer to Yuri’s ear. “So, finally you’re successful taming her heart, huh? Is she your girlfriend now?”, the person whispered as he smirked at him. He then called the person and leaned closer to his ear.

 

“Yeah. How about you? Is she still someone else's girlfriend, or officially yours now?”, he whispered back.

 

“Hell yeah! She’s mine now!”, the person said while giggling. Yuri joined him giggling too.

 

“Ehem!”, Yoona cleared as she tried to gain Yuri’s attention.

 

“Oh, babe, I’m sorry. Let me introduce you to this shikshin. He’s my housemate named Choi Sooyoung”, Yuri said with a grin which earned a smack on his back head.

 

“Oww! What?”, he snapped while caressing his back head.

 

“Yah! Why did you say like that?”, Sooyoung exclaimed. Yoona and Jessica who were watching the two friends teasing with each other just shook their heads while laughing. Jessica then walked towards Yoona and stood next to her.

 

“Hey, Yoona ssi! It’s been awhile since we’re not seeing with each other. How are you?”, Jessica said as she gave her a hug.

 

“I’m good, Jessica ssi. Yeah, it’s been awhile, huh?”, Yoona replied as she returned the hug. Sooyoung and Yuri then looked at their girlfriends curiously.

 

“You guys know each other?”, Yuri asked while looking at Yoona.

 

“Yes, baby. We used to work together for a magazine photo shoot on last year”, Yoona replied. Jessica just nodded her head in agreement.

 

“Wow, what a small world, isn’t it?”, Yuri said with a smirk while glancing at Sooyoung. Sooyoung just stuck his tongue out at the tanned guy. Yuri playfully showing his fist at Sooyoung which earned a smack on his arm from Yoona.

 

“Enough with the childish act, will you?”, Yoona sternly said. Yuri quickly stopped and hung his head low. Sooyoung and Jessica chuckled on his action.

 

“You guys are cute!”, Jessica said as she giggled. The YoonYul couple blushed over her words.

 

“Alright, babe. Let’s find our table over there. I’ll see you again, Yoona ssi. And you, Kwon Yuri, I’ll see you at home! Bye!”, Sooyoung said. Jessica smiled to the couple before both of them left their table.

 

Meanwhile..

 

Hyoyeon parked his car in front of the restaurant building. He then unbuckled his seatbelt while looking at Seohyun.

 

“Ermm.. Seo, is it okay if we have our lunch here? I heard the food is delicious”, Hyoyeon said.

 

“Any place is fine with me, Hyo”, she replied with a smile.

 

“Alright”, Hyoyeon said as he helped Seohyun to unbuckle her seatbelt. Seohyun was surprised with his sudden act as she just sat frozen on her seat. “Okay, done. Let’s go!”, he said as he got out of the car, and rushed to Seohyun’s side to open the door for her. She felt flattered.

 

“T-thanks, Hyo”, she said as she went out of the car. Hyoyeon just smiled in return. He then grabbed Seohyun’s wrist and led her to the restaurant’s main entrance. Seohyun was surprised with his sudden act at first, but, she just blindly followed Hyoyeon.

 

“Welcome Sir, Ma’am!”, the waiter greeted them as soon as they entered the restaurant.

 

“Thanks!”, Hyoyeon thanked him. The waiter then led them to the vacant table. Seohyun realized that Hyoyeon was still holding her wrist. She immediately pulled her hand.

 

“Oh, I’m sorry”, he apologized. Seohyun just smiled. Hyoyeon then pulled the chair for her.

 

“Thanks, Hyo!”, she said as she immediately sat on the chair.

 

“You’re welcome”, Hyoyeon replied and sat on his chair. After taking their orders, the waiter then left their table.

 

“Hyo, I need to go to the ladies room for a while”, Seohyun said.

 

“Yeah, sure. Go ahead”, Hyoyeon replied.

 

Seohyun then got up from her seat and headed to the ladies room. While she was heading to the ladies room, she accidentally saw a person she was very familiar with being fed while acting lovey dovey with a girl who she happened to know her well. She immediately stopped walking, and stood frozen not far from the person’s table.

“So-Sooyoungie?”
