:: Everything’s gonna be alright ::

 

Two weeks later, at the Kim’s resident

 

“Aigoo, my baby daughter! How are you, dear?”, Mr. Hwang said as he hugged Tiffanny.

 

“I’m good, daddy. I’m sorry for not being able to come to the airport”, Tiffany replied sadly while hugging her father. Mr. Hwang just arrived Seoul few hours ago, and Taeyeon has offered himself to fetch his soon-to-be father in-law from the airport.

 

“It’s okay, I understand on your condition, sweetheart. Besides, Taeyeon was there to fetch me, so, considered he’s there on behalf of you”, Mr. Hwang said with a smile, trying to cheer her up. Taeyeon just smiled while hearing the conversation between both father and daughter. He then headed to the guest room while carrying  Mr. Hwang’s luggage, and put it inside the room.

 

“Daddy, come, let’s have a seat first”, Tiffany said as she pulled herself off from the hug, and grabbed her father’s wrist. She led him to the living room.

 

“Please have a seat, daddy, I’m going to the kitchen to make your favorite drinks for a while”, Tiffany said. Mr. Hwang likes to drink white coffee which his youngest daughter usually made for him back then when they were in U.S. Her late mother taught her to make the drinks when she was 10 years old, before she died because of lung cancer.

 

“Thanks, sweetie, but you don’t have to do that. You’re still not feeling well”, Mr. Hwang replied as he sat on the couch.

 

“Don’t worry, daddy, I’m okay now”, Tiffany said smilingly while looking at his father before she headed to the kitchen. Not long after, Taeyeon appeared at the living room.

 

“Uncle Hwang, your room is ready now. You can take a rest. I’m sure you must having a jet lag after the long flights”, Taeyeon said.

 

“Ah, it’s okay Taeyeon. I want to have a chat with both of you first. Come and  have a seat”, Mr. Hwang replied. Taeyeon just complied, and walked to the couch to sit next to Mr. Hwang. A few minutes later, Tiffany walked out of the kitchen with a tray of drinks.

 

“Babe, I told you not to do any work”, Taeyeon immediately got up from his seat, and rushed towards Tiffany.

 

“It’s okay, Taetae. I missed making drinks for my daddy”, she replied smilingly.

 

“Aww.. look at both of you, like a married couple already!”, Mr. Hwang said teasingly. Tiffany chuckled on his father’s words, while Taeyeon’s face flushed red.

 

“Here’s your favorite coffee, daddy”, Tiffany said as she put the coffee cup on the coffee table. She then took a seat next to her father.

 

“Thank you, sweetie!”, Mr. Hwang replied. He quickly sip his drinks.  

 

“Hmm.. the taste just like you used to make it for me, never change. I really missed this”, he said as he patted on Tiffany’s arm.

 

“Hehe.. thanks daddy!”, she grinned happily. Taeyeon just smiled while looking at both of them.

 

“So, how many weeks already?”, he asked. Tiffany pouted as she made her mental calculation.

 

“Ermm.. about four weeks”, she said while looking at Taeyeon. He smiled and nodded his head.

 

“That means, I will become a granddaddy in another eight months, huh?”, Mr. Hwang said excitedly.

 

“Yes, daddy. You will become a granddaddy, Michelle unnie and Leo oppa will become an aunty and uncle”, she said smilingly. The excited Mr. Hwang then turns gloomy out of sudden.

 

“How I wish your mother was still with us. She must be excited to become a grandmommy”, he said sadly.

 

“Aww.. please don’t say that, daddy. You are gonna make me cry”, Tiffany said as she was in urge to cry.

 

“I’m sorry, sweetie”, Mr. Hwang replied while wrapping his arm around Tiffany’s shoulder, and kissed on her temple. “I’m sure she knew that she’s going to become a grandmommy. She’s always watching us up there. Hi, honey! We missed you!”, Mr. Hwang said while waving his hand, looking at the ceiling. Tiffany and Taeyeon giggled on his silly antics.

 

“Annyeong!”, suddenly they were startled by the voices. Mr. and Mrs. Kim just entered the house after they came back from doing their groceries.

 

“Annyeong mom, dad!”, Taeyeon immediately got up from the couch, and walked towards his parents. He helped them to carry the plastic bags. “Mom, dad, this is Uncle Hwang, Tiffany’s father”, he said to his parents. Mr. Hwang quickly got up from the couch.

 

“Oh, Hwang ssi! Finally we meet you!”, Mr. Kim said while walking towards Mr. Hwang and shook his hand.

 

“Mr. Kim, nice to meet you”, Mr. Hwang replied. “Mrs. Kim, nice to meet you too”, Mr. Hwang said as he nods his head slightly at her.

 

“Nice to meet you too, Hwang ssi. How’s your flight?”, Mrs. Kim asked.

 

“It’s on time, but pretty exhausted since it’s a long flight”, Mr. Hwang replied.

 

“Ah, it’s okay, Hwang ssi. You can take a rest after lunch later. Please excuse me, I need to go to the kitchen to prepare lunch. You guys can continue with your chatting”, Mrs. Kim said.

 

“Mom, do you need my help?”, Tiffany said as she got up from the couch.

 

“Gwenchana, sweetie. You’re still not feeling well. Just stay with your father, okay? You guys must have a lot of catching up to do”, Mrs. Kim said smilingly.

 

“Dae”, Tiffany replied. Mrs. Kim then headed to the kitchen. The Hwangs and Kims then continued their chatting.

 

“Mmmm.. this is so delicious, Mrs. Kim!”, Mr. Hwang said after he tasted the spicy kimchi beef stew. They're having their lunch at that time.

 

“Jinja? Eat some more, okay?”, Mrs. Kim replied smilingly.

 

“It’s been so long since I’ve never eating Korean homemade dish. You know, living in foreign country, you need to adapt their culture, and their food as well. I really missed eating Korean food. My late wife always cooked us Korean food. After she passed away, we just ate American food since we didn’t know how to cook it’’, Mr. Hwang said as he smiled faintly. Tiffany who was sitting next to her father patted on his thigh.

 

“I’m sorry to know that, Mr. Hwang. Don’t worry, you can enjoy eating Korean food as much as you can while you’re in Seoul. Taeyeon knew some places which sales the best Korean food, he can bring you there at anytime you want”, Mr. Kim said.

 

“Yes, uncle. We can go out together for the Korean food hunt whenever you’re free later”, Taeyeon said excitedly. Tiffany just giggled silently on how cute her fiance was reacting at that time as he tried so hard to cheer up his soon-to-be father in-law.

 

“Really? Wow, it must be exciting!”, Mr. Hwang chirped while clapping his hand without he realized, causing the rest to laugh at his excitement.

 

“Daddy, calm down, okay? Let’s continue eating your food”, Tiffany said while patting on her daddy’s arm. The Hwangs and Kims then continued eating their lunch while chatting.

 

“Your dad had gone to sleep?”, Taeyeon asked while looking at Tiffany who was changing her clothes to pyjama. She then walking towards the bed to join her fiance. Taeyeon patted the pillow next to him and adjusting it as to make it more comfortable for Tiffany to lean on it. She sat next to Taeyeon, and slowly wrapping her arms around his waist. Taeyeon was playing games on his iPad.

 

“Yup, half an hour ago. I bet he must be in a deep sleep right now”, she replied while took a peek on his iPad..

 

“Jinja? So, what are you doing half an hour ago?”, he asked.

 

“Oh, Hayeon asked me to accompany her watching TV before she went to sleep”, she replied. Taeyeon shook his head while smiling. He stopped playing games, and turned off the iPad before he put it at the side table. He then wrapped his arm around Tiffany’s shoulder, and pulled her closer. He kissed on the crown of her head.

 

“Haish.. that brat, she never listened to us. She supposed to go to sleep early since she needs to get up early on tomorrow. Next time don’t follow her request”, Taeyeon grunted. Tiffany just giggled.

 

“Just give her a break, will you? She had studied so hard, and already finished her homework before she came down to watch TV”, Tiffany replied. She then released her arms from Taeyeon’s waist, and adjusted her pillow before she laid her head on it.

 

“Sleepy already?”, Taeyeon asked. Tiffany just nodded her head. Taeyeon then moved to the side table to switch off the lamp. He adjusted his pillow, and laid his head. Tiffany moved closer, and laid her head on his chest. Taeyeon then hugged his fiancee, and showered her with small kisses all over her face before finally landing on her lips.

 

“Are you happy now that we’re going to get married in three months time?”, he asked. The Hwangs and Kims have already had their discussion about TaeNy's marriage during dinner.

 

“Who doesn’t, baby? Finally my dreams will come true, to get married with the man that I love so much, and have blessings from both families. Plus, we’re going to have our baby soon, I’m beyond happy”, she replied smilingly, answering his question sincerely. Taeyeon couldn’t help but to smile too.

 

“How about you? Aren’t you feel happy?”, it’s now her turn to ask.

 

“Of course I am, sweetheart. It is my dream too, to get married with my dream girl, to have blessings from both families, and to become a daddy to our child soon. No words could express how happy and grateful I am, you know, after what we have been through before. Thank you so much for accepting me and my family in your life, Tiffany Hwang”, he replied, and kissed on top of her head once again. Tiffany couldn’t help but to feel flattered with his words.

 

“You know what, baby? I feel like you’re giving a marriage speech right now”, she said while giggling.

 

“Hehe.. yeah. Consider that I’m practicing my speech right now”, Taeyeon replied as he giggled too. The couple then continued their chatting until both of them drifted off to sleep.

 

At The Star Agency

 

“Gwenchana?”, Sooyoung asked Jessica after the script reading session ended. Both of them still sitting at the meeting room, while the rest of the production team already leaving the place.

 

“Yeah, I’m fine. Don’t worry, okay?”, Jessica replied with her assuring smile as she patted gently on Sooyoung’s cheek. Sooyoung couldn’t help but to smile too. He was worried after what had happened earlier. Dongwook had thrown nothing but only sarcastic and harsh words towards her after they finished their script reading session earlier. He’s still holding his grudge against her, and still blaming her for their breaking up.

 

“Ermm.. wanna grab a lunch right now?”, he asked again.

 

“I’m sleepy. Can we just go home, and order something for lunch?”, she suggested.

 

“Sure, sweetheart. Alright, let’s go to our office room, and you can have your rest there for a while. I will go down to the cafeteria to take away some food, okay?”, Sooyoung said, and immediately got up from his seat.

 

“Okay. Thanks, honey”, she replied, and got up from her seat too. She grabbed Sooyoung’s hand, and entwined their hands together, heading to Sooyoung’s office room.

 

“Alright, just stay here, okay? Don’t fall asleep!”, Sooyoung .

 

“Yah! I won’t!”, she exclaimed while glaring at him. Sooyoung chuckled while leaning closer, and quickly pecked on her lips before he went out of the office.

 

“Ahjumma, can you please pack two servings of jajangmeon? Oh, and please pack some chicken salad as well”, Sooyoung said to the cafeteria worker as he made a lunch order for himself and Jessica.

 

“Arasso”, the ahjumma replied. While waiting for his food to be packed, his eyes wandering around the cafeteria, and he immediately stopped when he saw a particular person who was sitting not far from the food counter. Suddenly an idea popped up in his mind.

 

“Ahjumma, I will come by and take the packed food later. I need to go somewhere”, Sooyoung said.

 

“Dae!”, the ahjumma replied. Sooyoung slowly walked to the table where the person was sitting.

 

“Excuse me, Doongwook ssi. Can I sit here?”, Sooyoung asked while standing beside the latter. Dongwook was startled, and immediately turned his head towards Sooyoung.

 

“Huh? Oh, Sooyoung ssi! Yeah, sure”, he replied while munching his food. He was in a middle of having his lunch, alone.

 

“Thanks”, Sooyoung said, and immediately took a seat in front of the latter.

 

“Dongwook ssi, can I discuss something with you? Are you free right now?”, Sooyoung asked.

 

“Yeah, sure. I’m free at the moment. What is it, Sooyoung ssi?”, he replied while sipping his drinks.

 

“About Jessica..”, Sooyoung was about to continue his words when Dongwook suddenly cut him off.

 

“If you wanna talk about that , I’m sorry, I don’t have a time..”, he said with a grunt.

 

“Dongwook ssi! I appreciate if you could talk with a professional manners, not to talk in anger”, he snapped at him.

 

“Well, well, well, look who’s talking”, he said sarcastically. Sooyoung curled up his fist as he tried to hold his anger. If he didn’t think he did this for Jessica’s sake, that man would have already tasted his own blood from Sooyoung’s first punch on his face.

 

“Dongwook ssi, please. Just stop whatever you want to say or whatever you have in your mind right now. Please listen to me first”, Sooyoung said, almost pleaded. Dongwook just smirking at him while gesturing him to continue.

 

“Dongwook ssi, I know you felt angry and frustrated when Jessica decided to break up with you. I know that I have no right to meddle in your business. But please, let bygones be bygones. Jessica has already moved on, so, I hope you would do the same too. I..”, Sooyoung was about to continue when suddenly a voice interrupted their conversation. Both of them startled, and immediately turned to look at the source of the voice.

 

“I’m sorry, Dongwook oppa. I’m sorry for causing us to break up. I’m sorry for making your life miserable, and I’m sorry for breaking your heart. I swear I didn’t mean it, oppa. I swear the last thing I want to do is to hurt you. It’s just.. I just.. I was actually fell out of love with you the moment I realized that I falling in love with Sooyoung. I couldn’t help myself, oppa. I was as helpless and hopeless like a feather in the wind. Nobody forces me, neither do Sooyoung. So please, oppa. For the sake of our career and professionalism, like what Sooyoung had said just now, let bygones be bygones. I’m sorry again for never get a chance to explain to you on last time”, Jessica said as a tear rolled down her cheek. Sooyoung just so wanted to get up from his seat right now, and dashed towards Jessica to hug her. But, he felt like his feet being glued on the floor. Dongwook then let out a heavy sigh.

 

“Don’t be sorry, Jessica. I’m sorry that I’ve hurt you too. I should have let you go a long time ago. It’s just, I’m still holding back because I thought that you just had a simple crush on him, and you will come back to me. But, I was totally wrong. I never knew that your love for him was so deep. You know, it wasn’t easy for me, Jessica. But, I’m willing to set you free for your own happiness”, Dongwook said as he smiled faintly.

 

“Thank you, oppa, thank you so much. And, I’m sorry once again”, Jessica said as she tried to control herself from crying since there were still few people at the cafeteria at that time.

 

“Mianhae, Dongwook ssi”, Sooyoung said.

 

“Gwenchana, Sooyoung ssi. I’m sorry for saying inappropriate words to you just now”, he replied. “And, please don’t kick me out of the drama production, Sooyoung ssi”, he continued, which causing Sooyoung to smile.

 

“Don’t worry, Dongwook ssi, I’m not going to do that to you. I’m professional, you know”, he replied. “So, are we good now?”, Sooyoung asked while looking at both of them.

 

“Yeah, I guess so”, Dongwook replied. Jessica just nodded her head while letting out a small smile. Sooyoung and Jessica then excused themselves before heading to the food counter to take their takeaway food which Sooyoung had ordered earlier.

 

“Babe, why are you get down here? Are you hungry?”, Sooyoung asked. Both of them were walking out of the cafeteria.

 

“I’m bored, so, I came down here to look for you. And, I found out that you’re in the middle of having a hot conversation with Dongwook oppa just now. So, I decided to interfere so that we could end the cold war that we’re still holding since then”, she replied.

 

“I’m glad that both of you are okay now”, Sooyoung said. Jessica just smiled in return. They were heading to the parking lot. Sooyoung then unlock the car’s door, and put the packed food at the backseat. He then rushed to the passenger’s side to open the door for his princess. He immediately got inside the car, and the engine. He then slowly took Jessica’s hand, and caressed it gently.

 

“Thank you for falling in love with me, Jessica Jung. And, thank you for willing to stand by me, and to fight for our love”, he said as he kissed her hand. Jessica couldn’t help but to smile on his words, and playfully pinched his nose.

 

“Thank you for being my knight in shining amour, baby. If you didn’t start it first, I don’t know what would happen between me and Dongwook oppa in the future. Now I’m glad that we could resolve the tangled rope between us.

 

“You’re most welcome, sweetheart. Now, let’s go home. I’m super duper hungry!”, he said as he started to drive his car, leaving the parking lot.

“Haishh.. this shikshin!”, Jessica said as she shook her head.
