Moving on - Part 4

 

 

“Mwoh?”, Yuri was surprised with Krystal’s suggestion.

 

“Oppa, pleaseeee...”, she begged while giving Yuri her puss in boots eyes.

 

“Haishh.. jinja.. this girl..”, Yuri grumbled as he was in quandary.

 

“Oppaaaa..”, Krystal whined loudly while leaning closer to Yuri and laid her head on his lap.

 

“Y-yah! Haishh.. okay.. okay.. I’ll do it!”, he exclaimed. Krystal smiled widely after hearing his words. She then quickly stood up from her chair, and gave a peck on Yuri’s cheek. Yuri startled.

 

“Thank you so much, oppa!”, she said as she quickly ran out of the office, leaving her Yuri oppa dumbfoundedly.

 

Oh lord!

 

 

**End of the flashback**

 

 

“I can’t believe I agree to do that!”, he mumbled unconsciously.

 

“Huh? What did you say just now?”, Sooyoung asked as he noticed his housemate was mumbling to himself.

 

“Oh, n-nothing. I just remembered about something”, Yuri said as he tried to cover himself from being teased by his housemate.

 

“Remember on what?”, Sooyoung asked again as he was in curious.

 

“Haishhh... this shikshin. Is he trying to interrogate me or what?”, he thought.

 

“About my working schedule, though”, he replied as he started to feel annoyed with Sooyoung’s question. Suddenly Sooyoung’s phone beeped.

 

Thank god! Or else, he will keep bombarding me with questions!

 

Sooyoung smiled after checking on his phone screen. It’s a text message from no other than his Seohyunnie. Hehehe..

 

From: Seohyunnie

 

Hi Soo! Sorry for the late reply. I was in the bathroom just now. Watcha doin’? :)

 

“Why are you smiling like an idiot?”, Yuri asked as he noticed Sooyoung was smiling all the time while reading the text message.

 

“Y-yah! Who’s the idiot here? You or me? At least I was just smiling, not talking to myself like you did just now”, he replied sarcastically. Yuri just laughed over Sooyoung’s words.

 

“Who’s texting you, huh? Seohyun?”, he teasingly asked while immediately sat next to Sooyoung, trying to peek on his phone screen.

 

“Yah! It’s none of your business!”, he exclaimed as he tried to hide his phone at his back. Yuri just chuckled. Suddenly they heard the door was opened.

 

“Hey, guys! I heard a noise from outside. What’s the occasion, huh?”, Taeyeon asked soon after he entered inside.

 

“Our friend here, he’s already found his new girlf..”, Yuri was about to continue his words when suddenly Sooyoung covered Yuri’s mouth with his hand. Yuri then struggled with Sooyoung as he tried to pull Sooyoung’s hand that has covered his mouth. After several attempts, Yuri successfully pulled Sooyoung’s hand from his mouth. Taeyeon just shook his head while looking at his housemate’s childish act.

 

“Darn you, shikshin!”, he exclaimed angrily while giving his deadliest glare at Sooyoung. Sooyoung just laughed his head off. Taeyeon walked towards the couch and dumped his backpack on the floor. He slumped himself on the other couch.

 

“Serves you right. Who told you to become a busybody, huh?”, Sooyoung said as he rolled his eyes annoyingly.

 

“Just cut it out, you two!”, Taeyeon snapped. Both of them immediately silent. It’s not that because they're scared with him, they actually respect him as he's the eldest among them, and they already regard him as their own brother.

 

“Sorry, Tae. Alright, I’m going in. Good night!”, Yuri said as he took his mug and immediately got up from the couch, headed to the kitchen.

 

“Good night”, both Sooyoung and Yuri replied in unison. Suddenly Sooyoung smacked his own forehead while immediately replied on Seohyun text. Taeyeon looked at him weirdly.

 

“Now, what’s wrong with you?”, he asked.

 

“Heheh.. nothing”, Sooyoung chuckled awkwardly. He then pressed the send button before he put his phone back on the table.

 

To: Seohyunnie

 

It’s okay. Sorry for the late reply too. I’m still watching the drama that you’ve recommended to me. It’s a good one though!

 

A few minutes later, his phone beeped again. Sooyoung’s eyes widened.

 

“Hmm.. that was fast!”, he thought. He was about to grab his phone when suddenly Taeyeon grabbed it first.

 

“Y-yah! Give it back to me!”, Sooyoung exclaimed while trying to snatch his phone back from Taeyeon. He immediately unlocked the screen and read the text message.

 

“Ooohh.. who’s Seohyun? New girlfriend, huh?”, Taeyeon said as he smirked.

 

“Y-yah midget! How dare you read my text message! Give it back to me!”, Sooyoung yelled as he dashed towards Taeyeon and wrestled with the latter to get his phone back. Thank god with his long hands and legs, he successfully snatch his phone back.

 

“Damn you, midget!”, he grunted. Taeyeon was lying on the couch, laughing his head off while pressing his stomach as he felt amused teasing the latter.

 

“Soryyyyy!”, he said. Sooyoung then gave his deadliest glare at him.

 

“Urghh.. I’m going in!”, he groaned while getting up from the couch, and headed to his room.

 

“Yah! Can’t you bring your coffee mug here to the kitchen and wash it first?”, Taeyeon exclaimed while pointing at the coffee mug that was on the table. Sooyoung just ignored him, and quickly getting inside his room.

 

“Haishh, this shikshin!”, Taeyeon grunted as he got up from the couch. He switched on the TV, and took his backpack that was on the floor. He then took the coffee mug and brought it to the kitchen to be washed.

 

Sooyoung slumped himself into the bed with his hand still holding the phone. He then read the text that was sent by Seohyun just now.

 

From: Seohyunnie

 

Jinja? I told you it’s a good drama. I’ve watched it many times. So, are you working on tomorrow?

 

Sooyoung smiled after reading the text. He then quickly pressed the keypad to reply the text message.

 

To: Seohyunnie

 

Nope, I still have one day off left before starting my work back. How about you?

 

He pressed the send button, and patiently waited for the reply. A few seconds later his phone beeped.

 

From: Seohyunnie

 

I’m working on tomorrow, but only a half day because I need to meet a client in the morning. After that I’m free. :)

 

“Hmm.. are you giving me a hint to ask you out after that, Seohyunnie?”, Sooyoung mumbled while giggling to himself. He then immediately replied the text.

 

To: Seohyunnie

 

Great! We can have our lunch together on tomorrow, and after that maybe we can watch a movie or something. How about that?

 

“Let’s see what are you going to reply”, he muttered while looking at his phone screen.

 

“BEEP!”

 

From: Seohyunnie

 

I like the idea. Okay, I’ll see you on tomorrow afternoon. Goodnight, and sweet dreams! :)

Sooyoung smiled, and immediately replied the text.

 

To: Seohyunnie

 

Yeah, see you on tomorrow. Goodnight to you too, and have a good sleep! :)

 

Sooyoung put his phone on the side table. He slowly closed his eyes, but, without a reason, he suddenly thought about no other than his Jessica Jung.

 

“Haishh.. why the hell are you thinking about her, Choi Sooyoung!”, he mumbled to himself while ruffling his hair. Soon after, he slowly dozed off.

 

 

The next day

 

Taeyeon was the first person to get up as usual since he needed to pick up his pink princess early in the morning. After done taking shower and get dressed, he headed to the kitchen to make breakfast for himself and his housemates as usual. After done preparing breakfast, he walked out of the kitchen to check the tanned guy whether he’s already woke up or not.

 

“Good morning, Tae!”, Yuri greeted him as soon as he got out of his room.

 

“Morning Yul. Breakfast is ready”, Taeyeon said.

 

“Thanks, Tae. You don’t have to do that for us next time”, Yuri said as both of them headed to the kitchen, and sat on the stool.

 

“Nah, it’s okay, Yul. It’s not a big deal at all”, Taeyeon replied while sipping his coffee.

 

“So, how’s your parents?”, Yuri asked while munching the food.

 

“They’re good. They send their regards to both of you”, Taeyeon replied. “Alright, it’s already 8:15. I need to go now. Talk to you later, okay?”, Taeyeon said before he got up from the stool, and carried his plate and mug to the sink.

 

“Okay, buddy”, Yuri replied. After done washing the dishes, he walked to the living room to take his backpack that was on the couch, and immediately went out of the apartment.

 

 

At the front of Tiffany’s apartment building

 

Tiffany patiently waiting for her Taetae to come and pick her up to work as usual. She felt nervous to meet Taeyeon again after what had happened between them few days ago. Ten minutes later, Taeyeon arrived and stopped his taxi in front of Tiffany. He dashed out from his taxi and immediately headed to the passenger’s side to open the door for his pink princess.

 

“G-good morning, Taetae”, Tiffany nervously greeted him.

 

Gosh, I don’t know why, but I’m happy to see you again. I missed you, Kim Taeyeon!

 

“Good morning, Tiff”, Taeyeon replied with a small smile while waiting for Tiffany to get inside. He then slowly closed the door, and rushed back to the driver’s side. Taeyeon then started driving his taxi, heading to Tiffany’s workplace.

 

After 30 minutes of driving, the taxi then arrived in front of Tiffany’s office building.

 

“Alright, we’re already here”, that’s the first words that came out from Taeyeon’s mouth after 30 minutes of their journey. He was about to get out from the taxi when suddenly Tiffany grabbed his wrist.

 

“Huh?”, Taeyeon startled while looking at his wrist.

 

“Taetae.. are you okay?”, Tiffany asked softly.

 

“Ermm.. I-I’m okay”, Taeyeon replied nonchalant, and tried to release his wrist from Tiffany’s hand, but the latter tighten the grip even more.

 

“What the..”, he mumbled.

 

“Taetae.. I know you still mad at me. I’m... I’m sorry”, Tiffany said as her voice started to crack.

 

“Haishh..”, Taeyeon mumbled softly while leaning his back on his seat. He scratched his head using his free hand.

 

“Taeta..”, Tiffany was about to continue her words when suddenly Taeyeon pulled her shoulder and smashed his lips on Tiffany’s. Tiffany was shocked at first, but then she immediately released her hand from Taeyeon’s wrist, and slowly wrapped her hands around Taeyeon’s neck. Both of them shared their passionate kiss for the first time ever. They stopped the kiss when both of them running out of air. Taeyeon suddenly felt guilty for kissing Tiffany. He facepalmed himself.

 

“I’m.. I’m.. sorry, Tiff. I shouldn’t do that to you”, he said with a guilty tone. Tiffany just let out a smile and grabbed Taeyeon’s hand. She pulled Taeyeon closer and hugged him tight. Taeyeon was shocked with her doings, but then he just let it be since he really wanted it to happen.

 

“It’s okay, Taetae. I want it to happen too. I missed you”, she replied. Taeyeon slowly returned the hug, and caressed on Tiffany’s back gently.

 

“I... I missed you too”, he nervously said. He wasn’t sure about his feelings right now, but being in his dream girl’s arms at the moment is just like a dream come true. He slowly released the hug, and cupped on Tiffany’s face. He slowly scanned the face that he was longing to see for the past few days. He then leaned closer and kissed on Tiffany’s lips again.

 

“I like you, Tiff. I know this is wrong, but I can’t hold my feelings any longer. I’m sorry for treating you bad for the past few days”, Taeyeon finally expressed his true feeling toward his princess. Tiffany smiled while caressing his hands that were still holding her face.

 

“I like you too, Taetae. And, I’m sorry for treating you bad for the past few days. I don’t know why, but being away from you only for a seconds only makes my feelings towards you growing stronger. I know this is wrong too, but, I can’t stop myself, Taetae”, Tiffany replied. Taeyeon then slowly releasing his hand from Tiffany’s face. He took her hand, and slowly intertwining his hand with her’s. He then leaning his back on the seat, and let out a heavy sigh.

 

“Then, what are we now, Tiff?”, Taeyeon asked. His thumb slowly caressing on Tiffany’s hand. Tiffany then slowly leaned her head on Taeyeon’s shoulder, and let out a sigh.

 

“I don’t know, Taetae. Why don’t we just let it be?”, Tiffany replied. They just staying like that for a while before Taeyeon slowly released their entwined hands.

 

“Alright, you’re going to be late for work, Tiff. It’s already past 20 minutes”, Taeyeon said while pointing at the car’s clock.

 

“Can’t I skip my work today? I just want to stay like this with you”, Tiffany replied while holding on Taeyeon’s arm. Taeyeon just laughed and pinched her nose lightly.

 

“Oh, no you can’t, babe. You need to go to work. I’ll see you on tonight, okay?”, Taeyeon said. Tiffany pouted and immediately released her hand from Taeyeon’s arm. She dashed out of the taxi without waiting for Taeyeon to open the door for her as he usually did.

 

“Haishh..”, Taeyeon sighed. He quickly went out and rushed to Tiffany’s side. He knew Tiffany was mad at him. “Tiff..”, Taeyeon called her. Tiffany just ignored him and continued walking to her office building. Taeyeon managed to grab her wrist.

 

“Urghh... let me go!”, Tiffany groaned while trying to release her wrist from Taeyeon’s hand. Taeyeon tighten the grip and pulled her closer to hug her.

 

“Why are you so furious today, huh?”, Taeyeon asked, still hugging her. Tiffany just stood still. Taeyeon sighed before he started to speak. “Alright, I’ll see you this afternoon. We’ll going out for lunch together. Is that okay?”, Taeyeon said.

 

“Okay!”, Tiffany replied happily, and gave a peck on Taeyeon’s cheek. She then released herself from Taeyeon’s hug, and happily skipping to her office building. Taeyeon was dumbfounded while staring at the latter.

 

“Jinja? Unbelievable!”, Taeyeon said as he shook his head in disbelief. He then headed back to his taxi and entered inside. He glanced at the office building while smiling widely.

 

“I can’t believe she likes me. It’s like a dream come true”, Taeyeon mumbled to himself. He was about to start driving his taxi when suddenly he remembered on something.

“Haishh.. how can I forget that I’ve a lunch date with IU ssi today!”, he smacked his own forehead.
