Still at the fitness centre

 

“Thanks, Yul. I’ll see you on next week. I’ll inform you when I will come here”, YoonA said after she’d done packing her bag.

 

“W-where are you going?”, Yuri asked as he felt his heart stopped beating for a while.

 

“I’ll have a photo shoot in Australia with Minho for the new advertisement”, YoonA replied while putting the bag strap on her shoulder.

 

A week? That’s too long! Haishh... I’m going to miss you! :(

 

“Oh, hmm.. my life will be boring without you”, Yuri mumbled slowly as he let out a small smile. He sounded frustrated.

 

“Yul, what did you say just now?”, YoonA asked as she didn’t hear clearly on Yuri’s mumbling. She put her hand on her ear, and leaned closer to Yuri.

 

“I-I said, have fun! Heheh.. “, Yuri chuckled awkwardly.

 

“I swear the words that you said to me earlier is much longer than you said just now”, YoonA said as she tapped her chin cutely, staring at Yuri while furrowing her brows.

 

Haishh.. please don’t do that, I’m YoonA. You’re just too cute that I feel like I’m gonna kiss you!

 

“I-I tell you the truth, though. I said, have fun in Australiaaa!”, Yuri replied, mocking an Aussie slang. YoonA laughed her head off.

 

“You’re funny, you know!”, she said, still laughing. “Anyway, thanks for today. Hmm.. do you want anything from Australiaaaa?”, she asked as she mocked the slang. Yuri just chuckled.

 

“Hmm.. I want a baby kangaroo. I want to keep it as a pet”, Yuri giggled as he tried to tease the latter.

 

“Y-yah! I can’t freely bring a life animal back! I’ll buy you the soft toys one, and that’s the final!”, YoonA said as she crossed her arms. Yuri just chuckled looking at the pissed Im YoonA.

 

“Relax, Yoong. I’m just teasing you. I know that. Anyway, have a safe journey, okay?”, Yuri said smilingly.

 

“Thanks”, she said as a smile slowly carved on her lips. A smile that melts Kwon Yuri’s heart, and went crazy all this while.

 

“Y-you’re welcome, Yoong”, Yuri replied as he tried his best not to look nervous in front of his dream girl.

 

“Okay, I’ve got to go now. My manager is waiting for me. See ya later!”, YoonA bid him goodbye before she walked out of the gym.

 

“Bye!”, Yuri waved his hand at her. He keep on staring at the latter until she disappeared from his sight. He then walked slowly back to the office, and headed straight away to his desk. He slowly sat on the chair, and leaned his back with one arm. He let out a soft sigh. A memory on how he met his dream girl for the first time suddenly came through his mind.

 

 

:: Flashback ~ 6 months ago ::

 

“Yul, are you free right now?”, Jaejoong, the manager of the fitness center a.k.a. his boss asked as soon as Yuri entered the office. He just finished conducting a training session with his other trainee.

 

“Yup, wae?”, Yuri replied while looking at his boss.

 

“I want to discuss with you about a new trainee that will be coming to our gym on tomorrow. Her manager requested me to assign a personal fitness trainer for her. So, I want to ask you first whether you’re interested or not to become her personal fitness trainer. I’m offering this to you since you’re the senior trainer here”, Jaejoong said.

 

“May I know who’s she? I don’t want to train a fussy and arrogant trainee, just like the other one before. Her attitude is so irritating”, Yuri replied as he immediately walked to his desk, and sat on his chair.

 

“I know, I know.. but I promise you this time it wouldn’t happen again. And, I’m sure you must be excited to know who she is”, Jaejoong said as he grinned.

 

“Yah! Boss! Just tell me right now. No need to give me the long intro, though!”, Yuri exclaimed impatiently as he rolled his eyes.

 

“Heheh.. sorry, bro! He’s your dream girl. That’s all I can say”, Jaejoong said.

 

“Huh? M-my dream girl? Y-you mean, Im YoonA? That famous model and actress?”, Yuri’s eyes got widened.

 

“Yup, who else”, Jaejoong said with a smirk.

 

“W-wait a minute! You’re trying to prank me, right boss? An April fool prank, isn’t it? What is the date of today?”, he said while looking at his desk calendar.

 

“Yah! Am I look like a prankster to you? I’m telling you seriously, though!”, Jaejoong exclaimed annoyingly. He then scrolled down the text messages that he received from YoonA’s manager, and showed it to Yuri.

 

“Here, check on these text messages if you don’t believe me”, he said as he handed his phone to Yuri. Yuri quickly took the phone and read the messages.

 

“Okay, sorry boss!”, Yuri grinned as he handed back the phone to Jaejoong. “Wow, it’s like a dream come true. Of course, I definitely accept your offer, boss!”, Yuri said excitedly. Jaejoong just shook his head.

 

“Anyway, she and her manager will be coming on tomorrow to register into our club. So, I want you to be here early by tomorrow morning since I need to attend the meeting with the supplier on 8:30 a.m. Don’t be late. I don’t want to hear any complaint about bad customer service from them”, Jaejoong said as he reminded Yuri.

 

“Don’t worry, boss. I’ll be here before dawn.. hehehe.. “, Yuri replied with a chuckle.

 

 

The next morning

 

“Where’s she?”, Yuri mumbled to himself while glancing at his wristwatch. It’s already 10:00 a.m., and he’s already waiting for his dream girl and her manager to come since 7:30 in the morning. He was pacing back and forth inside the office.

 

“I’m so gonna kill you boss if she’s still not showing up until this afternoon”, Yuri mumbled angrily.

 

“KNOCK! KNOCK!”

 

“Excuse me?”, a voice suddenly been heard from the office door.

 

“Huh?”, Yuri immediately turned his head to look at the door. A tall guy suddenly popped his head inside the office. “Yes, can I help you?”, he asked as he walked towards the guy.

 

“Ermm.. can I see Mr. Kim Jaejoong?”, he asked.

 

“Oh, he’s not here. He went out to attend a meeting with the supplier. Hmm.. you’re?”, Yuri replied.

 

“My name is Kim Junsu. I am Im YoonA’s manager. I supposed to meet him this morning to register Miss Im at your fitness club”, the guy said.

 

“Oh, yes.. right!”, Yuri said excitedly. “Hmm.. anyway, Mr. Kim will be coming back late, so, he asked me to assist you. Please come in”, Yuri said while his eyes looking at outside the office. He then led the Junsu to sit at the couch.

 

“Please have a sit, Mr. Kim”, Yuri said.

 

“Thanks, Mr.?”, Junsu asked.

 

“Kwon Yuri. Just called me Yuri”, he replied. “Hmm.. where’s Miss Im?”, he asked in curious.

 

“Oh, I forgot to tell you that she’ll come a bit late. Something came up. She’ll be here soon”, Junsu replied.

 

“I see”, Yuri said. “Okay, while waiting for Miss Im to arrive, can you please fill up this form for her? We need her details as for our client's record. Miss Im can sign the form when she arrive later”, Yuri said as he handed the form to Junsu.

 

“Yeah, sure. Can I borrow your pen?”, Junsu asked. Yuri then took his pen from his shirt pocket and handed it to Junsu. “Thanks”, he thanked him.

 

“You’re welcome”, Yuri replied. “Do you want a drink?”, he asked.

 

“Yeah, sure, thanks, Yuri ssi”, Junsu replied.

 

“Alright, I’ll go and get a drinks for you”, Yuri said as he got up from the couch, and walked out of the office room. He then walked towards the pantry which located not far from the office room. While he was walking to the pantry...

 

“THUD!”

 

“Oww!”, he groaned and fell down on the floor.

 

“Omo.. I-I’m sorry. Are you okay?”, the person who just accidentally knocked him down asked in worried tone. Yuri was still on the floor.

 

“Urghh.. I-I’m okay”, Yuri muttered, still groan in pain.

 

“Let me help you”, the person said with a worried face while holding Yuri’s arm. The person helped him to get up from the floor.

 

“Thanks”, he thanked the person, and immediately lifted up his face to look at the person. Yuri’s eyes got widened.

 

“You’re welcome”, the person replied with a sweet smile.

 

“Yoo.. Yoo.. YoonA s-ssi?”, Yuri stuttered as he was shocked like hell to see the person that had just accidentally knocked him down.

 

“Huh? You know me?”, YoonA asked as she was surprised.

 

“O-of course I know you. I.. I mean, not only me, the whole Korea knows you”, Yuri replied. YoonA laughed after hearing his remarks.

 

“Yeah, I know”, she said, still giggling.

 

“Wh-what are you doing here? I.. I mean, why are you here?”, Yuri suddenly bombarded her with questions as he was still in disbelief, and also still in dazed, mesmerized by her beauty.

 

“Huh? I’m supposed to meet Mr. Kim Jaejoong here, right? For the club registration”, she replied while giving a weird look at Yuri. Yuri suddenly smacked his own forehead as he forgot about his task.

 

“Oh, y-yeah! I kinda forgot about that. Sorry.. hehehe..”, he scratched his head as he chuckled awkwardly. YoonA just giggled on his action.

 

“It’s okay.. hmm...”, YoonA replied.

 

“I’m Kwon Yuri. Just call me Yuri”, Yuri said

 

“Oh, okay. Hmm.. Yuri ssi, have you seen my manager? He came here early before me”, YoonA asked.

 

Huh? Early? I waited for you guys for almost 3 hours! 3 hours for god’s sake!

 

“Y-yeah. He’s in the office. Please follow me”, Yuri replied as he led YoonA to the office room.

 

“Annyeong, Junsu oppa”, YoonA greeted her manager as she entered the office. Junsu immediately turned to look at YoonA.

 

“Oh, annyeong, YoonA. You’re early. Have you sent your boyfriend to the airport?”, Junsu asked .

 

B-boyfriend? She had a boyfriend?

 

“Yup, I think by this time his flight has already departed to Paris”, YoonA replied.

 

“Come, sit here. I need you to sign this form”, Junsu said as he patted the couch, wanting YoonA to sit next to him. YoonA just complied, and immediately sat on the couch.

 

“Ermm.. excuse me, guys. I.. I need to get your drinks for a while”, Yuri said.

 

“Yeah, sure Yuri ssi. Thanks”, Junsu thanked him. YoonA just smiled at him. Yuri immediately dashed out of the office room.

 

I don’t know why... I just met her, but why I feel hurt inside?

 

 

:: End of the flashback::

“Haishh.. if I met you earlier, Im YoonA..”, he mumbled while ruffling his hair. He then slowly got up from the chair, and walked out of the room to continue on his training schedule for the next trainee.
