:: I Miss You ::

 

Early in the morning, at YulSooTae’s apartment

 

“RING! RING! RING!”

 

Yuri just went out of the bathroom, and ran lightly to the nightstand next to his bed to grab his phone. He immediately sat on the bed while looking at the phone screen. He smiled widely while looking at the caller’s ID. It’s no other than his beloved girlfriend who’s thousand kilometres away from him.

 

“Hello, sweetheart!”, Yuri answered the call.

 

“Babyyyyyyyyyy!”, Yoona whined soon after Yuri answered her call. Yuri just chuckled.

 

“How are you babe?”, he softly asked.

 

“Never better. I miss you!”, she whined again.

 

“I miss you too, babe. How’s your work so far?”, he asked again.

 

“Work’s okay. Yul baby, I’m bored without you here”, she replied with a sad tone.

 

“Me too, babe. Just hang in there, okay? It’s not that long. I promise I will take a leave, and we could spend our time together after you come back to Seoul”, he said.

 

“Jinja? Promise?”, she replied excitedly.

 

“I promise, sweetheart. Hmm.. if I’m not mistaken, it’s already midnight there, right?”, Yuri asked.

 

“Yup, it’s 12:00 a.m. here”, Yoona replied.

 

“Why are you still not sleeping yet?”, he asked.

 

“I can’t sleep. I just want to hear your voice before I go to sleep”, she replied. Yuri couldn’t help but to smile over her words.

 

“Alright, babe. You should go to sleep right now. It’s not that I don’t want to talk longer with you. You need to have enough rest, babe. Otherwise, you’ll feel tired and sleepy later”, Yuri said.

 

“Arasso. Yul baby?”, Yoona replied.

 

“Yes, sweetheart?”, he asked softly.

 

“I love you”, she said. Yuri’s smile grew wider.

 

“I love you too. So so much. Take a good care of yourself over there, and come back soon, okay?”, he replied.

 

“I will. Goodbye, baby”, Yoona said as she ended the conversation.

 

“Goodbye babe. Sleep well”, he replied as he ended the call. He then put his phone back on the nightstand, and landed his body on the bed.

 

“Haishh.. Im Yoona.. I miss you so much. You’re driving me crazy here”, he whined while ruffling his hair into messy. He then got up from the bed, and walked to the closet to pick a shirt and pants to wear today as he need to get ready to go to work.

 

At the fitness center

 

Yuri arrived at his workplace after 30 minutes of driving from his apartment. He didn’t take any breakfast since he’s not in the mood to eat, plus he was so getting used to have breakfast with his beloved girlfriend before he went to work ever since they got together. He really felt restless without her. Poor Yuri! LOL!

 

After he entered inside the fitness center, Krystal who happened to arrive at the same time greeted him cheerfully.

 

“Good morning oppa!”, Krystal said.

 

“Hmm… morning”, Yuri replied lazily while walking towards the reception counter to record his attendance.

 

“Yah! Oppa! What’s with the gloomy face, huh?”, Krystal snapped while standing next to him.

 

“Nothing”, he mumbled. Krystal then grabbed his shoulder and turned his body to face her as she’s not satisfied with Yuri’s answer. She then slowly smirked at him.

 

“Yah, yah! Why are you giving me that kind of look? It’s creepy, you know”, Yuri exclaimed.

 

“I know who makes you turn to be like this”, she said while giving him a sly smile. The receptionist just giggled over her words.

 

“Just shut up, Jung junior! Just go and start your work right now!”, he said sternly while immediately releasing himself from Krystal. She laughed at him as she felt amused teasing the latter.

 

“Arasso, arasso! You’re no fun, oppa”, she replied, still giggling.

 

“Whatever!”, Yuri just rolled his eyes annoyingly as he was not in the mood to entertain the latter. Krystal was about to walk away when suddenly her phone rings.

 

“Yoboseyo?”, she answered the call. “Huh? Yoona unnie?”, Krystal exclaimed while looking at Yuri. Yuri immediately turned to look at her. Krystal quickly covered with her hand, and slowly ran away when she noticed Yuri was staring at her furiously.

 

“Yah! Come back here, you brat!”, Yuri yelled while chasing her. Krystal has already running away while laughing. The receptionist just shook her head while looking at the two chodings chasing with each other.

 

Meanwhile, at Seohyun’s apartment

 

Hyoyeon was leaning his back against the wall near to the door of Seohyun’s apartment, waiting for her to get ready to go to work. Ever since they got together, Hyoyeon insisted to send and fetch his newfound girlfriend to her workplace. Hyoyeon is a bit protective towards Seohyun after what had happened to her at the nightclub few days ago. As for Seohyun, she felt gladly and happy on whatever Hyoyeon did to her, although she was a bit reluctant at first since she didn’t want to burden her boyfriend. But, Hyoyeon didn’t mind at all as he loved his girlfriend so much.

 

Hyoyeon glanced at his wristwatch while fixing his shirt collar. After waiting for a few minutes, finally the door swung opened. His eyes then glued to the person who was walking out of the door. He smiled while looking at the person.

 

“Sorry for keep you waiting”, Seohyun said as she smiled apologetically to the latter.

 

“Nah, it’s okay. I just arrived here few minutes ago”, he replied smilingly. “So, shall we go now?”, he asked.

 

“Yeah, let’s”, Seohyun replied. Hyoyeon then grabbed her hand, and intertwined his fingers with hers while heading to the elevator. After they reached in front of the elevator, Hyoyeon pressed the button and the door immediately opened. Both of them quickly entered inside.

 

While inside the elevator, both of them were silent, not uttered any single words. Seohyun then leaned closer to Hyoyeon, and quickly pecked on his lips which makes the latter startled. He curled up his forehead while looking at the latter. His lips slowly formed a smile. Seohyun face flushed with embarrassment.

 

“Why?”, he asked curiously.

 

“Thank you”, she said shyly while gazing on the floor.

 

“For what?”, he asked again.

 

“For patiently waiting for me”, she replied. Hyoyeon just chuckled upon hearing her words, and he slowly twirled her around, and back hugging her. Seohyun could felt a sudden heat on her face, while her heart beating fast. Hyoyeon then leaned closer to her ear, and whispered.

 

“When it comes to you, I don’t mind waiting forever”, he whispered, which sent shivers down her spine.

 

“Cheesy!”, Seohyun giggled while nudging her elbow lightly on his stomach. Hyoyeon just chuckled while kissing her back head.

 

“DING!”

 

“Alright, madame. Let’s go!”, he said excitedly as he released her from the hug, and intertwined their fingers back. He playfully swung his hand with hers while heading to the parking space. Seohyun couldn’t help but to laugh on his childish action.

 

Later on that afternoon, at the restaurant

 

Yuri was sitting at the reserved table which he had made earlier right after he received an urgent call from his shikshin buddy, no other than Choi Sooyoung. Although he felt weird at first because Sooyoung asked him to have their lunch together, which is so out of the blue, he just complied and made the reservation at their favorite restaurant.

 

“Where the hell is this shikshin?”, he mumbled while glancing at his wristwatch. He had been waiting his housemate for 30 minutes. As he was about to get up from the chair, suddenly he saw Sooyoung was running lightly to their table.

 

“S-sorry buddy! Traffic jam”, he said while panting heavily, patting his chest as he tried to catch his breath.

 

“I thought you want to prank me. I’ve waited almost half an hour here!”, Yuri grunted while sitting back on his chair. Sooyoung curled up his forehead while looking at him, and sat on his chair.

 

“Heh? Now, where did you get that idea, silly? I know I liked to tease you, but I’m not that bad that want to prank my own buddy!”, he said as he rolled his eyes annoyingly.

 

“Heheh.. sorry. Just call the waiter to take orders”, Yuri replied. Sooyoung then called the waiter and both of them started to place their orders for lunch.

 

“So, what’s so important that you want to discuss with me, huh?”, he asked. Sooyoung then slowly let out a sigh while slowly leaning his back on the chair.

 

“It’s about Jessica. We have a fight just now over something which I thought it’s not so important at first, but then it matters a lot to her. It was my fault actually. I forgot to tell her that she will be the female lead in our new drama, and the male lead is happened to be her ex-boyfriend. She found out about it when she came to my office earlier, and I was accidentally placed the script on my table. She was so furious and just stormed out of my office after the fight”, Sooyoung explained while ruffling his hair as he tensed up.

 

“Then, why don’t you suggest to your director to change the male lead? I mean, you’re the assistant director, right? You have a right too”, Yuri replied.

 

“It’s not that easy, Yul. My uncle has chose Dongwook to be the male lead. He also told me that the sponsors also agreed for Dongwook to cast in this drama. What else can I do?”, he said.

 

“Oh. If so, what are you going to do now? Aren’t you supposed to be with her right now, and explain to her of what had happened?”, Yuri replied. Sooyoung was about to continue his conversation when suddenly the waiter came with a tray of food and drinks they’ve ordered earlier. After the waiter gone, Sooyoung continued to speak.

 

“I did, Yul, during the fight. But, she didn’t want to listen. She said she agreed to accept the offer, but with no Dongwook involved. Haishh.. I’m devastated, Yul”, he said as he sighed. Yuri felt sorry for his friend, but nothing much he could do to help him.

 

“Do you want me to talk to her?”, Yuri said as he offered for help.

 

“Nah, I don’t think she will listen to you, Yul. It ain’t gonna work”, Sooyoung replied. Yuri cut his food and munched slowly while thinking of a way to help his friend. He then suddenly snapped his fingers as he suddenly got an idea. Sooyoung stopped eating while looking at him curiously.

 

“What’s that?”, he asked as he furrowed his brows.

 

“I think I know how to solve your problem”, he said with a grin.

 

“Really? What is it?”, Sooyoung asked in excited tone.

 

“Let’s go to the jewelry store after lunch to buy an engagement ring. And then, go to the florist shop to buy roses. After that, you go to her place, and bam! Propose her”, Yuri suggested. Sooyoung frowned while looking at him.

 

“Do you think it will work?”, Sooyoung asked as he doubted with his friend’s plan.

 

“Trust me, buddy. It will work”, Yuri said while forking his food and carried it to his mouth.  

 

“Alright, if you say so”, Sooyoung replied. Both of them continued eating their food while continue discussing about their plan.

 

At Jessica’s apartment, on that evening

 

After their spat earlier at Sooyoung’s office, Jessica straightly went back at her apartment. She didn’t bother to contact Sooyoung as she was still in anger state. She decided to spend the rest of the afternoon and evening at her apartment. But, deep inside, she felt guilty for picking up fight with her boyfriend over someone who’s no longer important in her life. So, she just waiting if Sooyoung would call her, but sadly no.

 

She was lying on the couch while watching TV when suddenly she heard the doorbell ring.

 

“DING! DONG!”

 

“Huh? Who’s that?”, she mumbled as she jolted up from the couch.

 

“DING! DONG!”

 

“Haishh.. I wonder who’s that”, she grumbled while walking towards the door. She looked through the peephole, but she found no one at the outside.

 

“There’s no one there. But, I’m sure I’m not mishear the doorbell ring, right?”, she said, debating to herself. She then decided to just open the door. As soon as the door is opened, she was surprised to see her beloved boyfriend was kneeling in front of the door while holding a big bouquet of pink and white roses.

 

“S-Sooyoung? W-what are you doing?”, she asked, still in surprise.

 

“I’m sorry”, he mumbled while looking at her with a sad face. Jessica felt sorry for him. She slowly walked to him and pulled him by his arm to stand up.

 

“I’m sorry too. I shouldn’t have pick a fight with you because of that jerk”, she said. Sooyoung smiled while hand over the roses bouquet to Jessica.

“This is for you”, he said. Jessica smiled as she gladly took the flower bouquet and smelled it.

 

“Thank you, baby. Let’s get inside”, she replied as she pulled his arm.

 

“W-wait.. wait.. there’s another thing”, Sooyoung said as he stood still, and grabbed something from his pants pocket. He opened the small red box, and then quickly kneeled down again, holding the red box with his hand. Jessica was shocked, and immediately covered with her hand.

 

“Jessica Jung Sooyeon, I know I’m not a perfect guy, or, a dream guy of yours. But I’m willing to do anything to prove myself that I can be the dream guy of yours. Try me once, and I promise that I will make your life happy, and making you the happiest woman in the world. Jessica Jung Sooyeon, will you please marry me?”, he said while looking at her with a smile.

 

Jessica was speechless as she never expected that Sooyoung would propose to her this fast. She was so overwhelmed with what Sooyoung has did until she didn't realize a single tear rolled down her cheek. Sooyoung then got up from kneeling, and slowly leaned closer to her. He wiped the tear on her cheek with his thumb.

 

“So, is it a yes?”, he asked softly. Jessica just nodded her head, still speechless.

 

“Thank you. I love you, babe”, he said as he leaned closer and kissed her forehead. Sooyoung then took the white ring with a heart shaped diamond, and placed the box back on his pants pocket. He then took Jessica’s hand, and placed the ring on her finger.

 

“It’s beautiful”, Jessica finally speak out while looking at her finger.

 

“Yeah, just like you”, Sooyoung said. Jessica smiled sheepishly while smacking on Sooyoung’s arm. Sooyoung just smiled dorkily. He then leaned closer and hug her tight.

 

“Want to celebrate our engagement?”, he whispered to her ear seductively while caressing her back.

 

“You ert!”, Jessica smacked his chest while laughing. She then released herself from Sooyoung’s embrace, and pulled him by his collar.

“Show me what got, you naughty boy!”, she said with her sly smile while pulling him to get inside. Sooyoung just let out a soft chuckle while following his fiancee to get inside her apartment.
