Hello my Lovelies,

So the whole EYK thing seems to be over now. That was inda stressful as they didn't initially say what they wanted fics for. Really the whole thing was handled poorly by all parties involved. That being said, I haven't heard any reports of people being hurt by anything EYK said about the fics they used, and hopefully it will remain that way. I want to thank everyone again for being respectful. I'm honestly happy with the reponses I got from readers and responses I've seen from other readers of different authors.

There are moments when fan wars make me really sad to be in the fandom and then there are moments like this when I'm truly happy to call my self Cassiopeia, VIP and a KPop fan in general.

It has come to my attention that Simon and Martina over at Eat Your Kimchi has put out a call for people’s favorite fanfics.

I do not want to be associated with these people in any way. Please do not link my stories to them. I personally find them disrespectful, ignorant and racist. They make fun of idols’ English when they themselves have admitted to not taking the time to learn Korean. They called Erin Mun of Shinwa (a person I personally admire, though that is beside the point) a e, they rate the English in kpop songs despite the fact that they, themselves can barely speak Korean. They -shaming and refuse to pronounce band names/ idols’ names correctly.

I very much would not want to be subject to the same disrespect they have shown to idols and other Korean celebrities. I’m a nobody, I can only imagine the bull they are going to pull with fanfics.

While I don’t think anyone likes my stories enough to promote them, I would hope that people would promote them in a more subtle way. I don’t want to sound ungrateful because I do honestly love my readers with all my heart.

I’m posting this on all my “popular” and active fics, so if you get spammed by me, I am truly sorry and will delete it when this debacle is over.
