The next day you did everything in your power to avoid your house, you went to school early, studied at the library after and even spent then night at your friends place. It was starting to get ridiculous, even to you. Sighing you shift on your side of Minji’s bed wondering just how long you were going to avoid the house for, you knew you had to go back eventually.

“You know I still don’t see what the problem is” Minji whispers and you sigh knowing she was going to ask you what both of your friends had been asking all day. “What do you mean?” you ask and you hear Minji move, probably to sit up and stare at your soul through the back of your head. “Why you’re avoiding home when you finally confessed to Chen. I mean like what’s the big deal? You like him, he obviously likes you, just already.”

Sighing you sit up and face Minji, “That’s the problem though. Sure I confessed and judging by what everyone else is saying he likes me too, but what now? He’s a kpop star and I’m just a regular person, some boring high school girl. How is it ever going to work out? Besides, in a few weeks they’ll all be going back to Korea and this whole thing” you say while waving your arms around “Whatever this thing is, will just be some memory that’ll fade until I’ve convinced myself it was all some delusional dream.“

You sit in silence waiting for Minji to start yelling at you but after a few moments you glance at her to see a sad sort of smile on her face. “I don’t know why you would try to forget that this happened. Azalea, this is a dream come true for every fan girl and judging from what I saw that day when me and Sora came over, there is no way in hell those idiots are ever going to let you forget about them. They’ll probably send you text messages everyday and knowing Xiumin he’ll probably call to make sure Joon hasn’t accidently set the house on fire or something.”

You laugh at the last bit of her speech and cant help but agree. “And as for Chen, even if it doesn’t work out you’ll regret not trying for the rest of your life so why not just take the chance?” Glancing at your friend you bite you lip in contemplation “You really think I should give it chance?”

“ YEAH YOU SHOULD GIVE IT A CHANCE” she shouts enthusiastically jumping up on her bed. “SHUT UP YOU TWATS!” you both hear her sister shout from the next room over. You both give each other a look before bursting out in laughter before laying back down and falling into a dreamless sleep.

Leaving Minji’s house that morning you couldn’t help but feel anxious for what you where about to do. Minji was right; you couldn’t just avoid Chen forever and would regret not trying. Who knows, it could end up wonderfully. You could move to Korea or he could move here and you could have a bunch of mini people running around everywhere.

You’re face goes red at the last thought, you haven’t even agreed to date yet and you’re already thinking about having…. kids, yeah kids, nothing else. You weren’t thinking about how Chen would look waking up next after a night of OK BRAIN YOU NEED TO STOP! Shaking your head to clear your thoughts you enter your house only to be meet with silence. That was strange. Usually there’s yelling or loud music or a movie being played somewhere on full blast.

Curious, you head up to your room real quick to dump off your overnight bag before looking for everyone. You head to each of their rooms and knock only to be meet by silence. Where they all out? Is it even safe for them all to be out at the same time? What about the crazy fan girls? Wouldn’t they find them?!

Beginning to get worried you hurry down into the basement to double check no one is home before you have a full on freak out. Reaching the bottom of the stairs you notice a line of rose petals on the ground.

 What?

 You stare at them for a while baffled. Hesitant, you follow the rose petals into the kitchen and waiting for you was a very flustered Chen rose in hand. You stand frozen, completely taken aback. Never did you expect something like this. Clearing his thought Chen ran a hand though his hair in a nervous gesture before looking you in the eyes “I never did give you an answer to your confession.” Taking a step forward he holds out the rose to you blushing furiously “I really like you too. And um god I’m horrible at these things but Xiumin said I had to make it romantic and all even though al I really wanted to say is that I like and I guess I know you like me to but I don’t know what exactly I’m supposed to do ne…”

He never got to finish his ramble for you had run up to him and kissed him square on the lips. Pulling away you feel the heat race to your face and glance at him with a shy smile. “That, that is what you’re supposed to do next.”

You look at your feet unable to meet his eyes not believing what you just did. You ing kissed Chen, Kim Jongdae, lead singer of EXO. Silently freaking out you wait for Chen to respond only to be meet with silence. Glancing up you try and hold in a chuckle, he was just standing there completely frozen with his eyes wide open. “Chen?” you say waving your hand in front of his face.

“I think you broke him” a voice says and you turn around to see everyone standing there. Embarrassed you flush red again before rolling your eyes “Ha ha very funny Joon.” It was then you felt arms wrap around your waist gasping at the touch. You feel a weight on your shoulder and know his forehead was pressed into it hiding his face “I was the one who was supposed to kiss you first.”

“Well you didn’t, so I did” you say with a giggle turning to face him. You smile before gently caressing his cheek. Chuckling he grabs you by the waist swinging you so you where practically lying in his arms, you know the whole cliché dramatic kiss position. Laughing out loud this time you wrap your arms around his neck as he kisses you deeply.
