The moment Yu-ki woke up she reached for her phone and opened up her messaging app. As she had promised when she left Vancouver last month, she had kept in touch with Tao sending him daily messages about her day. Most of the time he would respond with one or two words, but lately his responses were getting longer and once or twice he even started the conversation. Yu-ki saw that as a sign of him slowly warming up to the idea of her and her friendship.
