I walked out of BoA's house feeling spiritless.

How could this be?

My heart hurt so much I wanted to cry.

Why does it hurt so much? This is love isn't it? Love is supposed to be sweet, right? Then how come... i feel like my heart is about to break?

"Kim.. Jae... Joong?" I asked.

He nodded. "What can I do for you?"

"We want to make sure something." Mir said, stepping in.

"What is it?"

"Can... Can a... devil fall in love with an angel?" Mir said softly.

"What are you trying to say?" Jaejoong said, glaring. "A devil and an angel?"

"Is it forbidden by law?" I asked once again.

"By law? No it's not." he replied.

I let out a sigh of relief.

"...but that doesn't mean I don't allow it." he finished.

"... no way." said Mir, eyes opened wide. "Please don't say it..."

"I... forbid you to fall in love with an angel."

Mir glared at JaeJoong. "No. I will love my Taeyeon."

JaeJoong's eyes opened wide. "YOU LOVE THE ANGELS' GENERATION'S LEADER, TAEYEON?!"

I stared at Mir and mouthed 'You should just keep quiet. Don't make things worse.'

Mir ignored me. "Yeah? So what?"

JaeJoong growled. "...you can never fall in love with Taeyeon. She is an angel, you are a devil. As the devil, I cannot allow such a relationship."

"Wae?" I asked, stepping in. "If the love is real, why can't two people be together?"

Jaejoong turned to me. "... you don't know?"

"Nado molla."

"...It's because they're are rivals and if we become lovers with our rivals, then what's going to happen? Everyone becomes a devil? Everyone becomes an angel? It will create a distortion in the balance of the universe."

Mir scratched his head. "It's this... complicated?"

Jaejoong nodded. "Of course. That's why you must not love an angel."

"...it's so unfair." Mir said softly.

I nodded in agreement. "Indeed."

I looked. "Even if it's like this, I can't just stop lov-"

"You have to try. You cannot ever fall in love with an angel. That's final." he said, not budging.

Mir and I nodded silently and left the room.
