We headed back home. It was quiet and peaceful neither of us spoke, when I got there everyone was waiting for us. We still hadn't had diner yet, so Ryeowook and I went and made food, I occasionally went and checked up on Henry but he was sleeping so there wasn't much of a change

We were eating dinner quietly and then Sungmin decided to bring up the topic of our wedding.

I slowly chewed my food hoping not to be forced to answer. This was the one topic Donghae and I barely spoke of.

Why? Oh simply because its awkward for both of us. I mean I want to know when were getting married but as you can see the bet that was supposed to pull us together is obviously failing.

"Like I said in a couple of weeks"

"Do you have your wedding dress picked out?"

I gagged on my food, quickly grabbing the nearest cup; I safely managed to avoid choking

"Are you okay?" Yesung asked

"Yea, I was just thinking about some stuff" I smiled

"We haven't picked a wedding dress" Donghae said

"Do you know where you’re going to have the wedding?" Shindong asked

My eyes widened

I never thought about that. Where was I going to get married?

"Oh lord" Siwon exclaimed

"It’s not my fault! I mean this is my first time so I don’t know what to do" Donghae tried to defend himself 

"Donghae, umma called a while ago telling me that you and Hae-mi are scheduled for picking out a wedding dress in a few days"

"What about my other schedule" Donghae asked

"Don’t worry your mom and I took care of that" manager-nim said coming in

"You guys should sleep early, and don't eat too much, remember were starting promotions tomorrow"

"Nae~" everyone said

"But it's not healthy for them to eat too little" I said

"After promotions are over they can eat however much they want. Right now they must restrict themselves" Manager-ssi said

"Bu..." I began

"Hae-mi don’t bother. When it comes to things like this manager hyung is very strict. He really won't tolerate anything. Save your breath” Sungmin said

I pouted.

They're not even fat! They move around all day! Why would they need to diet? I realized a while ago that celebrities confused me but I didn’t know it would be this much. They're humans too they need to eat.

I was outraged but I don't feel like arguing with manager-nim he was so scary when he was talking about the food and promotions. Might as well take Sungmin's advice

"Thanks hyung I almost forgot about promotions"

The fierce look on his face was replaced with a soft smile as he ruffled Kyuhyun's hair

We laughed and finished our small diner.

I took a quick shower and went to my room. I came just in time to hear my phone buzz

"Hae-mi your phones been buzzing for about half an hour now" Donghae said

"Miyan" I said grabbing my phone

I sat on the bed

"Donghae " I asked

"Hmm" he said not looking away from his work

"You don't need me for anything tomorrow do you?" I asked walking over to him

"Huh no I don't think so why?" He said

I looked over to see what he was doing…. Why is a 24 ½ year old guy coloring in a children’s coloring book?

"I wanted to hang out with an old friend" I said

"Oh okay be careful~"

“I will"

“Umm, Donghae?”

“Yea”

“What are you doing?”

“Coloring why?”
“Oh... No reason”

“Okay”

I smiled as I lay in bed

"What happened? You seem cheerful all of a sudden"

"Jay said that tomorrow is Hae Beum day"

"Jay?"

"Park Jae-Beum, my old friend"

".... Okay" Donghae raised his eyebrow

Donghae POV

Damn it. She's going out with another guy this time! What if he turns out to be a ? Oh my lord no. Wait, it’s not Park Jae-Beum the entertainer is it? Aish why are there so many Jae-Beum’s in this world?

"I'll be right back"

I left the room and went to Siwon

"Siwon, are you asleep?"

"Not really" he yawned

"What’s wrong hyung?"

"I feel insecure"

"Ah is it Hae-mi ?"

I shook my head.

"Hyung you really like her don’t you? It's okay, just believe in her, don't bound her with too many boundaries. Girls don't like being bound by to many things" he said

"Kumawo Siwon" I said

Do I like her? No... Do I?

My heart is in confusion right now

I went back to my room and found her asleep

How does a person look so cute when they're sleeping? Is that even possible

Maybe I'm just seeing things, I need to sleep

Hae-mi POV

( in dream world)

I was running furiously

I was being chased by someone. Something. It was big, black, it had green eyes. it opened its mouth, it had carnivorous teeth. I thought that my hiding place was good, but it found me in an instant and swallowed me like a piece of gum. I screamed for help but no one heard me, I kept my eyes closed, it was so dark inside the monsters mouth. Tears were runngin down my face nonstop. I was so scared.

Suddenly I heard two faint yet familiar voices

"Umma? Appa?" I said

"You did well Hae-mi. You did well" they faintly said. Tears streamed down my face

"Umma appa no please don't go. I need you back! I lied when I said I never wanted to see you again. I lied! Please know that that's not what I truly meant. And I'm sorry umma appa I'm sorry." I said with even more tears rolling down my face

I faintly heard some words

My tears stopped for a second.

"We love you" the voices said

"I love you too, im sorry" I said

They faded away

I screamed their names over and over again but they never came back

Memories from a long time ago came to me. First grade picnic the one that dad couldn’t come to, finding out that dad wasn’t my dad but my stepdad, trip to Disney world, meeting Jiyong, and so many other things too. I cried and cried in one spot.

It was still dark where I was but all I could think of were umma and appa’s words.

I woke up breathing heavily; I looked around and saw Donghae sleeping. I was so scared

Donghae POV

I was sleeping quietly but all of a sudden I heard sobs.

Am I hallucinating now?

"Donghae -ah" a voice said

"Donghae " that voice said again

"Donghae oppa" the voice said again

"Oppa" the voice said

I woke up and looked around. Hae-mi was sitting on the edge of my bed crying. 

"Waegure? Chaebal Uljima"

"I had a nightmare"

"About what"

"A Black spirit, with green eyes whose mouth looked carnivorous, was chasing me"

I probably won't be able to go to sleep now.

"... It was just a dream..." I tried to say

"And before that I was talking to umma and appa" she continued as tears formed in her eyes

"What happened to them?" I asked

"They died a few years back and before it happened I said things I shouldn't have to them" she said as tears ran down her cheeks

What am I supposed to do? Is a hug going to be comforting enough? Losing one parent is hard enough, losing both parents is, for me, unimaginable.

I hugged her in the end

"It’ll be okay"

And somehow we fell asleep like that, her in my arms.

Haemi POV

An alarm set for eight o clock woke me up. Struggling to keep my eyes open I found myself, for some reason, in Donghae 's arms.

... Why am I in his arms? ...

And then I remembered.

Oh yea last night... I had a bad dream

Buzzzzz

It was my phone

I got up to see who it was but an arm grabbed my hand

"Kajima"

I was confused, why is Donghae holding my hand telling me not to go?

"Wae?" I asked

He slowly opened his eyes and sat up. He looked at me with sincere eyes

"I feel lonely"

"But you’re going to be at work all day today"

"Will you be home when I come back?"

"Why wouldn't I?"

Now he's acting like a child

"Are you okay" I asked him

"Yea I just get lonely at time"

"Even with more than 14 people around you?"

"Yep" he innocently nodded his head

Is this a game? How does someone manage to look so cute right after they wake up?

"I'll go shower first" I said

He sprang up and hugged me from behind

"Um Donghae are you drunk?"

"No why?"

"Then can you let go of me? This is really awkward"

"... Sorry"

I quickly left to go take a shower

He's acting a bit weird today

~~~ A few minutes later I was done showering and went downstairs for breakfast

"Good morning"

"Morning"

I smiled brightly. I was in a good mood today.

"Unni your stomach grew"

"It’s becoming more visible"

"Ah really? Ha-ha I guess your right"

I patted my stomach softly

Soon the boys left, Uki and Alex left with them and Sammy was still out with her friends

I looked at the time which read 10:18, our date is at 11:00. It takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the coffee house. I decided to get ready.

I put light make up on, and wore casual clothes.

My phone started ringing

"Jay’s probably already there"

I grab my purse, phone and keys and walk out the door. Just as the elevator door opened I saw him

"Omo what are you doing here?" I said surprises by his sudden appearance

He gave me a smile

"I came home to get something are you leaving now?"

"Yea I was just about to"

"Do you need a ride?"

"I don't want you to be late for work"

"Ha-ha it’s okay if it's nearby" he said walking to the dorm/apartment

"I'm going to the coffee house 15 minutes away from here"

"Isn’t that on my way to work? I'll just give you a ride"

"What did you forget?"

"My phone"

"Isn’t that in your hand right now?"

"Uhh.... No this is manager hyung's phone"

"Ahhh okay"
