Hae mi POV

"Oh it's Hae mi" a familiar voice said

"Oppa..." I turned around

"Waegure" Heechul said looking back

"...." there was an awkward silence while we all tried to figure out what was going on

"Jay" I said

"Hae-mi" he said back

"Heechul" Heechul said pointing to himself

"Ah anyoung Heechul sunbae-nim" jay said realizing that Heechul was with me

"Anyoung" Heechul said

"Hae mi you know Jae-beum?"

"Yea, in a way"

"Hae mi how do you know Heechul sunbaenim?" Jae tried to whisper to me

"Sunbae is fine" Heechul said

"Ah nae" he said looking at Heechul

"Uh, Jay I think I’ll need more time to explain this to you and I have to go right now something came up"

"Oh... Then is tomorrow fine?" he asked

"Yea sure since it's a Sunday" I replied

"Do you still have my number?" Jay asked

"New phone" I said pulling it out

"Number please" he smiled

We exchanged numbers and then both of us left.

What came up?

For Jay it was work, for Heechul and I, it was Donghae.

"Donghae what's wrong?"

"Henry has a fever, can you come home quickly" Donghae said over the phone to Heechul

"How bad is it?"

"I don't know!"

"We’re on our way"

"What’s wrong?" I asked

"Henry is sick and Donghae doesn't know what to do" he replied calmly

"Let’s go quickly then!" I said

How sick could Henry be?

Donghae POV

I should probably stop stalking them.

Wait. Is that Jiyong?

I thought she was going to tell hyung everything? Why is he here?

Gotta find a way to bring Hae mi back home

Henry! I quickly dialed Henrys number

"Henry?"

"Uh hey Donghae hyung what’s wrong?"

"I need your help"

"With what?"

"I can't really say, but I need you quickly"

"What for?"

"Are you sick?"

"No.. I don't think so... well I have a stomach ache…”

"Well rest, lay in bed, hyung will be there in a few minutes"

Henry's POV

Donghae hyung? What's wrong with him? Acting so weird

"Well rest, lay in bed, hyung will be there in a few minutes" He said

"Hyu-" he hung up

What the heck? Something’s off...

He's telling me to go get sick... That's just weird on a whole other level.

Oh well I'll just do as I'm told. The things I do for Donghae hyung.

"Kyuhyun can you make me ramyun?" I said. His ramen is the one thing that can upset my stomach even more.

"Henry are you okay? Why would you ask me to cook?"

"I really don't know, I'm craving your cooking"

"Does this mean I have potential in cooking?" Kyuhyun said with sparkling eyes

"No Kyuhyun." Kangin hyung said

Kyuhyun pouted and went to the kitchen

I changed my mind

I’ll just act this one out. I don’t want Kyuhyun to get in trouble.

"Kyuhyun?" I asked

"Hmm?" he replied opening the ramyun

"I'll make the ramyun you can go sit down" I said

"... Okay" he said

"I remembered the last time you cooked" Kangin commented

"Oh lord, please not that again" Siwon said

"I can cook just give me a freaking chance!!! Hyung you'll make me lose my confidence!" Kyuhyun glared

"Ya! You can only cook for yourself, that's when it turns out well, when you cook for others it tastes like crap" Kangin said back

"And you know what crap tastes like?" Kyuhyun replied back

"Ya! Cho Kyuhyun!" Kangin yelled

"Tang-hae-na-Ji! Tang-hae-na-Ji! tang-hae-na-Ji!" everyone else chanted

"Hohoho is this a continuation or something? Let’s see who can beat Kyuhyun at tang-hae-na-Ji!" Leeteuk said

"I will" eunhyuk said

"Eun-hyuk! Eun-hyuk! Eun-hyuk!" a portion of us chanted

"Kyu-Hyun! Kyu-Hyun! Kyu-Hyun!" the rest chanted

"Who’s going first?"

"I'll let eunhyuk HYUNG go because he's OLDER than me" Kyuhyun said

"Okay, then let's begin with eunhyuk" Leeteuk said

"Did you know that when you first entered the group, nobody liked you?” Eunhyuk started

“Tang-hae-na-Ji! When I first saw you I thought you were an Indian chief or something”

“Tang-hae-na-Ji! Did you know that there are pictures of you pre-debut circulating on the internet?”

“…Tang-hae-na-Ji! ...” just as Kyuhyun was about to continue, there was a big thump and a spoon dropping in the kitchen.

“What happened?” Kyuhyun said as he walked to the kitchen

“HENRY!” Siwon said

“Hyung, my stomach hurts” Henry said clutching his stomach

“Hospital! Let’s go now!” Yesung said

“No, I don’t want to. Aren’t hae mi and Sammy training to become doctor/nurse? Tell them to cure me” Henry replied

“Sammy is out till tomorrow and hae mi was with Heechul” Eunhyuk panicked

*knock knock*

“I’ll get it” Ryeowook said

Ryeowook ran to the door while the others carried the sick maknae to a room

“Donghae good timing is Hae-mi with you?” He said opening the door to Donghae

Donghae POV

“Ani, isn’t she with Heechul?” I faked

“Oh, did she tell you when she’s coming back?” Ryeowook asked

“Yea, she said she’s coming home soon, henry called me saying he wasn’t feeling too well so I told Haemi and Heechul to come home ahead of time” I said

I at lying.

“He told you?”

“Yea”

“When?”

Oh

“A little while ago”

*knock knock*

Ryeowook opened the door

“Hae mi perfect timing, hurry Henry’s sick!!”

“I know Donghae told me”

“Donghae you-“

“That’s not important right now, Henry is sick!”

“Hyung, Hyung, Hyung henry has a fever!!”

“Okay im going to go check up on henry, Ryeowook, start making porridge”

“Okay~” Ryeowook said running off to the kitchen

Hae mi went straight to the room with Henry in it

She took his temperature and everything and said it was just a small cold. But she was doing an awful lot for a small cold

How did he manage to get a cold? In such a short time

“He needs to be healthy by tomorrow, he’s got a schedule”

“It’s okay I’ll be fine, it’s just a small cold” Henry said getting up

Hae-mi’s eyes flared with anger “small cold can lead to big cold which can lead to flu. Henry Lau lay back down. You will stay in this bed until I say you can get out”

“Bu-“

“Don’t even try to negotiate with me right now.” She said calming back down

“Fine” he pouted

Isn’t our mochi cute??

For the next three hours it was like that, and then Henry was showing signs of recovery, he threw up every once in a while but he was getting better

“Hae mi noona, I’m feeling much better, you can go sleep now”

She checked his temperature with her hand

“Your temperature went down for sure. Get some more rest and drink all of that okay”

“Nae umma” Henry smiled

“Ha-ha” she laughed

She went to the living room to find everyone but a couple of us awake

“Well that was sudden” I said

“Yea” Heechul added

But then Hae-mi’s cheerful expression changed completely. She looked so mad

“What did you guys feed him?” she asked trying to keep calm  

“He made ramyun for himself” Kyuhyun said

“Really?” She asked

“Yea… Why?” Yesung replied

“He got food poisoning” She said

O_O Mochi what did you do??

“What how?” I asked

“He probably ate old ramyun...” Hae mi replied

There was an awkward moment of silence between all of us

“Is he better” Zhou mi asked

“Yea, much better, im glad I got here quickly, but why didn’t you take him to the hospital?” she asked

“Press”

Her eyes got really big, more than normal people’s eyes…

“So image means more to you then you and other people’s health?” she asked

“…” the boys were speechless

“I told this to Ryeowook before, even if you are celebrities, you can’t just risk your health. Before celebrities you are normal people.” She said

“Just because you don’t want all that attention or you don’t want your image to be hurt you can’t just risk someone’s life” she added

“He didn’t want to go” Siwon said

“Yea my cousin hates going to the hospital, but you know what, if you want to live a healthy life, you have to go.” She replied

“I hope next time, if something like this does happen; I hope that you guys take the person in medical emergency immediately to the hospital. You can’t just wait for someone to come, what if traffic didn’t allow me to make it on time? You guys risked Henry’s life and that unacceptable!” she stated

“Nae” everyone said

“I wish I could say it’s okay, but it’s really not. Hopefully you all learned something from this” she said

“Nae” they all said in a mellow tone

“Im going out for a walk” she said

Hae mi POV

I still wanna scold them more, this just isn’t something I’ll be able to forget and forgive, first of all im not the one who got sick… I need more fresh air I haven’t been in a situation like this since Danbi. Except at that time I wasn’t quick enough. I wasn’t able to save her... I lost another precious person to me.

I put on a jacket and walked out the door 

"Hae mi waits up" a voice faintly said 

"I turned around to fins Donghae running after me" 

"When were you going to stop?" 

"What?" 

"I've been calling your name for a while" 

"Sorry I had my headphones in my ears" 

"What happened?" 

"What do you mean?" 

"Why were you so pissed?" 

"Honestly something similar happened before. It was two years ago, I lost another precious person to me" 

"Miyan" 

"It’s okay" 

"..."

"You want to know what happened, don't you?" 

"Ha-ha how'd you know?" 

"Your face says it all" 

"Ha-ha really? Ah~ it's so cold" Donghae said quietly 

"Hmm?" I said. I didn't hear him properly 

"Tell me what happened" he said walking beside me 

"Well, it's a really long story" 

"As long as you can tell me" 

Donghae and I sat down on a bench and I began talking 

"Well. A couple of years ago I met my best friend, and her name was Danbi" I paused. 

Tears were threatening to fall

"Danbi and I were always together, we were really close despite only knowing each other for a few months" 

"To save money we lived together in a small apartment and both of us worked day and night to pay for our school and living expenses" 

"One day she ate something bad and got really sick, she called me telling me that her stomach hurt but I… I was still in class so I couldn’t see her that day I didn’t get home until 7. She got food poisoned earlier that morning and when I came home I found her lying unconscious on the floor" 

"I called the ambulance immediately but I was too late, they were too late." 

Donghae put his hand around my back and squeezed my shoulder. I felt the tears roll down my face. I closed my eyes shut and let the tears that I was unable to cry, out. 

The pain. The sorrow. The wounds. The cuts. The memories. The moments. Flashed through my head like a broken film, replying each scene over, and over and over again.

Making me cry more, I had missed her all this time, years passed but her small yet significant presence left a big impact on me.

I missed her dearly, so much I realized how empty I felt. This was the first time telling anyone what happened.

I probably cried all the tears I had, because by the time I stopped my cheeks were wet.

I turned to face Donghae who also had tears in his eyes; I guess he was watching me cry for the past few minutes

"After that I decided" I took a deep breath "that I wouldn't let another person important to me die, and that's when I decided to become a doctor" 

"I don't know her so I can’t really say anything but because she was an important person in your life that passed away, I understand your pain" 

He moved his hand from my shoulder and held my hand

"It’s cold, let's go back" he said 

I simply nodded
