Chapter 6
Scorpio
Luhan and Kris were walking around the mall one Sunday afternoon when the older one suddenly blurted out something.
“Hey, how was the training for the competition?” Luhan asked as he looked through the clothes hanging on the rack of H&M’s new arrival.
Kris, who was looking for his own style from the same rack, suddenly stopped. He seemed to be in a deep thought. “I think it’s fine,” he retorted after a few, long seconds.
Suddenly, Luhan burst out laughing as he got on his knees – causing a scene once again. Kris stared at his friend in utter disbelief, his faced flushed red due to immense second-embarrassment.
“What is your problem?!” Kris whispered while gritting his teeth. He looked around and saw several people giving them weird looks so he immediately pulled Luhan up and out of the store.
The younger one, being taller, easily shoved Luhan who was still laughing. “You should be aware of how a big embarrassment you are sometimes, hyung,” Kris put emphasis and sarcasm on the last word but the older one didn’t seem to care.
“Don’t you find it funny? For how many years that we’ve been friends, this is the first time you actually took time to think of an answer to a personal question, Mr. Li Jiaheng,” Luhan pointed out. “You don’t even take time thinking of an answer to a test question.”
Kris’ grip on his friend loosened as he gulped. He wanted to say something but his jaws seemed to have locked together, preventing him from – probably – lashing off on Luhan.
