chapter 24
ScorpioAs Soojung went back to herself, the glory came back to Gyeonggi Science High School too. Totally fired up, the two managed to secure the top spot by answering 14 out 15 questions in the difficult category. Cutting the story short, they won the competition.
The audience boomed in cheers as they were handed their trophies and bouquets of flowers. Soojung was thrilled to have brought home the bacon again that she actually forgot what happened prior to their victory.
But of course, life wasn’t that easy. Something’s bound to remind them of that.
“JUNG SOOJUNG!”
The two were on their way back to the car park to leave when a blaring sound of her name caught their attention. She could have just ignored that but no, her body decided to act on her own and turn back to face the approaching menace.

But of course, he didn’t expect the other girl to just back down easily. That nuisance called Hye Ju shouldn’t have come to them with nothing up in her sleeves.
“Oh really?” She started. “Then I suppose you’ve thrown Jung Yonghwa away too?”
At the sound of the man’s name, Soojung’s breathing hitched. Her knees began to wobble and so she held onto the car’s side for support. “O-of course,” she stuttered.
Hye Ju grinned in the most malicious way. “I see you haven’t moved on a bit yet,” she blurted out. “And here you are, acting oh-so-almighty just because you became a queenka of some second-rate school.”
Kevin felt a nerve on his temple exploded at the remark about their school. Sure, it was only secondary to the ever-famous Sukji High School but at least, they got no student as ridiculous as this girl before them.
Rubbing salt to the wound, Hye Ju continued her speech. “Accept it, Soojung-ah,” she slurred. “You’re always secondary, just as how you’ve
