Kris was pacing back and forth Luhan’s room as he massaged the temples of his head. The pain he was feeling was no longer from the hangover. It was already brought by the impending fear of losing one important part of his life just because of his insensitive mistakes.

“Dude, would you please sit down!?” Luhan bellowed as he leaned his back on the headboard of his bed. He wasn’t normally the one who would lose his cool over his best friend’s problems but it sure pushed him to the edge when he learned about what happened.

The kingka immediately sat on the couch opposite to the bed. He groaned in pain when his leg hit the corner of the center table but he could really care less about it. All he wanted to care about is to set things straight.

“I just need to talk to her,” Kris muttered as he raked his fingers through his hair frustratingly.

Luhan scoffed mockingly. “But obviously, she doesn’t want to talk to you,” he commented as he puffed out a rather annoyed sigh.

The younger man’s sharp eyes darted to his bestfriend who didn’t even cringe. Luhan may seem like an average side kick but he tends to be a lot scarier than who Kris could ever be. He may have this happy-go-lucky and bubbly personality but he gives no about friendship when he knows his friend was wrong.

“Don’t look at me like that because I’m not the one who’s at fault here,” he commented.

Kris shook his head as he clicked his tongue in admission of his defeat. “I know I’m at fault, I should have been more sensitive,” he said in a melancholic tone.

Luhan pouted as he stared at his best friend. In fairness to the younger one, it is easy to tell if he’s being sincere. So despite the overflowing annoyance, he stood up from the bed, walked to where Kris is and plopped down beside him.

“Kris,” the older man began, “I know I sound like a useless bestfriend right now but you need to understand that I just want to kick the out of you for hurting Krystal like that. I know you don’t care about anything just as long as you know you’re not doing anything wrong but people around you may think differently and you don’t control your girlfriend’s way of thinking.”

The kingka’s eyes focused intently on his best friend, urging him to continue – which Luhan needed no second thoughts to do; because he was convinced that he should give a piece of his mind to the wrong one.

“I don’t know you as much as Gaeul does, and I don’t even know her too, but from your stories and if I am to put myself in Krystal’s shoes, I would really think that there’s something going on between the two of you. You admitted that you failed to introduce them to each other right away and you admitted that you were such an insensitive bastard making your girlfriend feel like she’s the third wheel and the third wheel is your girlfriend – HECK YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE EVEN INVITED HER WITHOUT CONSULTING KRYSTAL – and now you’re feeling sorry for it, but are you really serious with your apologies?”
