As soon as I got into the car, Myeolchi oppa greeted me and asked me to look behind for a paper bag. I turned around to grab it.

“What’s this?”I asked.

“Open up and see it for yourself,”he replied simply with his eyes on the road.

The paper bag was black and had no hints of where he got it from. I opened it slowly and got out a box. While opening it, my eyes widened on its own accord. It was a scroll band ring from Chrome Hearts.

“What…how…are you crazy?! This is expensive!”I was shouting in the car.

I was reminded of the time when we were talking on the phone last week. I was looking through some things online and came across an article on G-Dragon. I commented that he really did know how to dress and how his accessories were so cool.

“If only it was cheaper, I would have gotten it all,”was what I said into the phone.

I hadn’t expected Myeolchi oppa to go get it for me.

“I went online to see which one suited you more. This is really the best for you. Do you like it?”Myeolchi oppa turned to grin at me.

“I can’t accept it. It’s too expensive! It’s something only idols like you and G-Dragon should wear. I mean, how am I going to wear this out?! Keep it for yourself,”I tried to put it back into the box.

But Myeolchi oppa placed his hand on mine to stop me from doing it.

“Take it. It’s a present from me,”he patted my hand.

I opened my mouth to argue but he shut me off again.

“Or this will be the last time we’re going out,”he shot me a firm glance.

“WHAT? We’re supposed to be close friends!”I pouted.

“Exactly. So, keep the ring. It’s a symbol of our friendship,”he grinned as he parked the car.

“Thank you so much. It’s so pretty,”I giggled as I surveyed the ring.

The whole day, we just sat in the car chatting like how we always do on the phone. Being with him made me so comfortable and I liked his presence. Myeolchi oppa was so down to earth in person yet he exudes the charm of an idol. As we laughed, I found myself staring at him. He was really handsome in person as well and having him as a close friend, I couldn’t be any happier. Myeolchi oppa stopped laughing when he realised I was staring. Under his stare, I felt heat creep my cheeks. My phone rang all of a sudden and I heard him clear his throat.

“Haemin, I need you to be back home for dinner, you hear me?”my mum said into the phone.

I sighed as she just ruined such a perfect moment.

“Okay,”I replied as she kept nagging on the other side.

Seeing that it was about to be dinner time and that he has some schedules to go to, he sent me home and at the driveway, we looked at each other. I didn’t want it to end and I was dead sure that he felt the same way.

“So, I better get going now…,”he spoke up.

“Right. Thank you again for the ring,”I smiled.

“You’re welcome. Bye…,”he tried to smile.

I waved and he signaled for me to go into my house first. I nodded my head and slowly walked towards my front door. I sighed for it ended and I wasn’t even sure when is the next time we were going to meet.

“Haemin!”

I lifted up my head and turned around, wondering why he was shouting for me. Before I could do anything, I had to take a few steps back from the impact caused by Myeolchi oppa who ran up my driveway to hug me.

“Take care, alright?”he slowly let go and ruffled my hair.

“I will. You too. Don’t practice too hard, understand?”I smiled shyly.

“Go in,”he nodded his head.

That night, I wanted to tell Soobin all about it but couldn’t bring myself to. What was I supposed to say? It was just a friendly hug. It wasn’t a big deal. Besides, Soobin will think that I’m over-reacting again. The next day, in school, she told me about how she had met Donghae. I was about to get really pissed off when she told me about the fan meeting tickets that he gave her.

“HE GAVE YOU THAT?!”I squealed.

“He says we should go together,”she simply said.

“OF COURSE WE SHOULD! Oh my god, see! Donghae is the nicest guy on earth!”I couldn’t help but spazz.

Together, we made our way to the fanmeeting venue. Soobin was about to start complaining about the crazy fangirls beside us who wouldn’t stop screaming over nothing when the ticket master told us to follow a security guard. I looked at Soobin who was as clueless as me. After opening a door for us, I realised that we were back stage and I reached out for Soobin’s hand immediately.

“What?”she hissed.

“We’re going to meet Super Junior personally,”I squeaked.

All she did was roll her eyes. I was about to start blabbering about how I was underdressed to meet them when the guard knocked on a door. I shut my mouth when he opened the door to reveal the pretty boys all dressed up and talking really loudly. The first person to notice us was of course the ever meticulous leader, Leeteuk.

“Oh, who are these pretty girls?”he stood up.

“HAEMIN!”Myeolchi oppa grinned and waved.

I chuckled as I waved back.

“You two really made it,”Donghae who was beside him spoke up.

From the way he smiled, it seemed as if he was truly happy to see us and I couldn’t help but smile back.

“Yah, you two have got to introduce us to them!”Shindong motioned for us to go nearer.

“Eh, you two hyungs are really players. Not telling us when you meet pretty girls,”Ryeowook joked.

“You wouldn’t even believe how we got to know them,”Donghae laughed.

“Do you want anything to drink?”Myeolchi oppa asked as he came up towards me.

“Just water,”I smiled.

“Water for you as well, Soobin?”he asked.

Soobin nodded her head and when he walked away, she couldn’t stop looking at him. Does she like him? I swear the two of them has feelings for each other but are not saying anything. I nudged her and she turned her attention to me.

“Why do you keep looking at him, huh? You like him?”I whispered.

“No. Just thinking of how rude he is,”she replied in a matter-of-fact tone.

“What? How is he rude?!”I raised an eyebrow.

“Firstly, he didn’t even greet me. Second, he didn’t ask for my choice of beverage like how he asked you,”Soobin answered.

“He’s just shy around you!! Don’t take it to heart! Or are you jealous?”I laughed.

Soobin looked at me as if I was insane and I stopped laughing immediately.

“Kim Haemin, you need to live beyond your own world,”was all she said.

“Huh?”I didn’t understand.

“Here you go, ladies! Haemin, come sit over here!”Myeolchi oppa gave us a bottle of water each.

“Soobin, right here,”Donghae pointed to another seat.

“Nevermind, Kim Haemin. Just enjoy yourself,”Soobin smiled as she shook her head.
