Give Me A Smile
2 years later……..
Narrator’s POV
“Someone told me you were busy.” Jooyoung chimed as she peeked on the door. Kris smiled and placed his pen down. He opened his arms to her.
“Not busy?” She blinked. Kris shook his head waved her over. Jooyoung smiled and sat on his lap.
“How are you doing?” He asked while fiddling with the ring on her finger.
“I don’t have work today, so I decided to bother you.” She chuckled lightly and pulled her hand away.
“People are still talking about us.” She commented as she saw the newspapers.
“Should I get you a bigger diamond then?” Kris teased. Jooyoung rolled her eyes and stood up.
“Don’t you think we should have hidden our engagement?”
Kris shook his head stubbornly.
“Anyway, I’m just dropping by, I still have lunch~”
“I know, I’m coming too.”
Narrator’s POV
“Good thing you two came. Noona, you forgot this.” Tao handed her mobile phone to her.
“Thanks.” She said as she sat down. Jungah smiled at her and went back talking to Chen.
“What are you eating?” Kris asked.
“I’m not~”
“Oh, it’s our newly engaged couple.” Lay grinned as he plopped down on his seat. Jooyoung smiled at him.
“Both of you are on the news, daebak! Even China is happy.”
Kris chuckled.
“Oh, right, unnie, congratulations, Kris-ssi too.” Jungah said. Jooyoung thanked her.
The group decided to walk around a nature park after the meal. Jooyoung was walking with Lay and Xiumin, while Chen was with Tao, Luhan and Jungah. Kris walked while looking around. Occasionally he would check on Jooyoung or look over her.
Tao was smiling in public now, unlike before. Jooyoung was thankful he met her, Tao needed someone to help him open up and not be the scary grouch that he was.
Jooyoung glanced at her fiancé, then she smiled. She excused herself from Lay and Xiumin.
“Shim shim hae(Are you bored)?” She asked as she stopped in front of him and wrapped her arms around his neck gently. Kris grinned and kissed her forehead.
“I was.” He replied and squeezed her waist lightly. Jooyoung grinned, Kris bent down and leaned his forehead on her briefly.
“People are watching.” She fidgeted a little. Kris grinned.
“Let them take more photos.” He grinned and lightly kissed her on the lips. Jooyoung let go. Kris grinned and wrapped one arm around her waist.
“Besides, its to let them now, you’re my fiancé.” Kris said. Jooyoung rolled her eyes.
“And Jooyoung?”
“What is it Wu Yifan?”
“Saranghae.”
Jooyoung smiled and leaned on him.
“I love you too, ice giant.”
Kris laughed and kissed her cheek.
