“Haraboji!” I gave my grandfather a hug, I felt him pat my back comfortingly.

“What did you want to talk about?” Tao asked, I looked at the helicopter behind my grandfather, he must be leaving.

“I know, with what just happened the two of you are stressed and worried, but I talked with the doctor, your father will be fine, he just needs rest and hopefully he’ll wake up soon.”

I nodded and pulled away.

“Now, this is something urgent, without your father at the company, I cant manage it well, Zitao is already busy here.”

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“Fushan I need you to take over also.

“But noona is work~”

“Arasso.” I gave Tao a look and he closed his mouth.

“I know this must be abrupt but I need your help, thank you for understanding me, Fushan.”

I nodded.

“I still need to go back to Shenzhen, you two take care. I’ll have Director Go prepare your office and don’t worry about the press, I already sent a statement.”

Narrator’s POV

The siblings watched the helicopter fly away.

“Noona, what about your job? Are you really resigning?”

Jooyoung nodded.

“This isn’t about what I want to do anymore, Tao. Appa needs me, the company needs me and the employees need me. And….I think its time I help you too.”

“You’re not doing this just to avoid Kris hyung, right?”

“He’s……technically your boss, noona.”

“Ya, think about it. If I resign, I’d be in Korea the whole year round, how is that avoiding Kris?”

Tao nodded while smiling.

“Wait a minute….why are you bringing him up?”

“Maybe because I know things.”

Jooyoung looked away.

“He likes you…or I think its more than that.” Tao nodded.

“Do…..you feel the same way for him too, noona?”

Jooyoung smiled and looked at her brother.

“If I tell you now………” She sighed.

“What?”

“He keeps on appearing in my thoughts….what do~”

Tao chuckled.

“You like him back and yet….you’re making him wait, don’t tell him yet, I want to piss him off!”

Jooyoung hit the back of his head and left her brother.

“Let’s go Edison, and remember to shut your mouth.”

Four days passed, Jooyoung already took over the company with Tao. Their grandfather was the one managing the China branch.

Before heading to work, she would visit her father for an hour and talk to him. Her mind has been so full of the things she had to learn, there were even times she would forget about meals which made her secretary worry.

Jooyoung sat back on her desk she checked the time. It was already almost 12 noon, then her phone beeped.

Lunch out, ppali! –LuLu oppa

Jooyoung smiled a little as she stood up. She got her bag and went out.

Kris’s POV

“What’s the event?” A voice asked as she sat down on the chair next to Luhan and mine.

“It’s a…..take a break from work lunch.” Lay nodded. Jooyoung chuckled.

“How are you doing?” I asked.

“Stressed but….alive.” She smiled back.

“Good, now don’t go back to the office this afternoon, we’re…going out.” Lay said.

“I have~”

Tao raised one palm up to quiet her.

“Noona, you need to take a break. I’m sure we already covered a lot.”

She slumped down on her seat and grabbed the menu.

“Is uncle getting better?” I asked. I heard her sigh.

“His wounds are healing, but…..I don’t know. I don’t know when….he’ll wake up.” She replied.

“He’ll wake up, I’m sure about that.” I patted her hand. Then she looked at me.

“What?”

“We need to talk later.”
