I sat down beside Suho oppa and Chen. Tao was sitting in front of Suho oppa and he was glaring at me.

“Mwo?”

He rolled his eyes at me.

“Oppa, try this.” I said as I pointed to the beef dish. He nodded.

“Jooyoung-ah, next week, you’ll come right? The school reunion.”

“Yeah, I told you I’m not busy.” I grinned as I placed some meat on his plate.

“That’s good, the guys are looking for you.”

“What guys?!”

I saw Suho oppa smile.

“Some friends from college, now Edison, eat properly.” I said as I handed him a tissue. Then, butler Pyo came in and handed me my cellphone.

“It’s an emergency.” He whispered. I nodded and got the phone.

“Yes?” I asked as I stood up.

“Jooyoung-ah, it’s me.”

I heard fast and heavy footsteps on the other line.

“Minah?”

“Yes, I don’t know what to do……I just got out of my unit and this man keeps on following me, I’m really sorry I don’t know who to contact~”

“It’s okay. I’ll be there in a few.”

Kris’s POV

I saw her back tense as she talked on the phone. Then she turned to us.

“I need to go.”

Suho looked up.

“Wae?”

She bit her lip and said,

“I’ll……..give you a call later. Does anyone know how to get to Idae?”

“I do.” I said. They all looked at me.

“Great, can you tell me the directions~”

“Just drive her there Kris, its not that far anyway.” Luhan interjected.

What?!

“No, it’s fine really, he just needs to tell~”

“Noona, just go with hyung.”

I didn’t even say anything!

Lay kicked my foot under the table. I stood up.

“Arasso, let’s go.”

I stood up and put on my coat.

“Jooyoung-ah, I can drive you.” Suho said while holding on to her wrist.

“It’s okay oppa, I’ll be back soon. Eat well. I’ll make it up to you at the reunion.” She smiled and kissed his cheek. I felt my grip on my car keys tighten again. I shook my head and nodded at her.

Narrator’s POV

Chen smiled as he saw his hyung’s expression changed when Jooyoung kissed Suho on the cheek. Kris frowned and shook his head. Suho smiled and watched her leave.

As soon as Jooyoung and Kris were out of sight, Tao spoke,

“When did you meet noona?”

“At Kyung Hee University, she’s a hoobae.”

“Ah, so did my noona ever have a boyfriend?”

Xiumin chuckled.

The two got in Kris’s Murcielago quietly.

“Is Idae that far?” Jooyoung asked.

“Ani, just a few minutes away.”

“Okay, let me tell you the truth.” Jooyoung faced him as soon as they were on the road. Kris looked at her briefly, but he was shocked that her face was so near his.

“My friend called me earlier, she’s being followed by this man. And I’m scared for her, that’s why~”

“And you wanted to go alone?” Kris said with icily. Jooyoung blinked.

“I’m sorry, I’m just~”

“I know, you must hate me now, you were forced to drive me~”

“No, driving for you is okay, but what were you thinking by going alone? What if that man would hurt you?” Kris lectured.

And again, there goes his maximum of 10 sentences a day.

“I just wanted to get there as soon as I can.”

With that, Kris stepped on the gas.

“I understand.” He said tightly.

He didn’t know why he got so worked up. But the thought of her going alone and confronting a man that was stalking her friend angered him.

The two finally arrived in front of Minah’s condo building. She wasn’t there. Jooyoung went out of the car and Kris followed her as she went around the area. She sighed and took out her phone.

Minah wouldn’t pick up. Jooyoung bit her lip.

“She wont pick up?”

She nodded at Kris, and then she heard someone scream loud. Jooyoung closed her eyes to trace the sound.

“It’s coming from that alley, let’s go.” Kris grabbed her hand and began pulling her.

They saw Minah cornered to the wall by a heavyset man. Minah had her hands raised to stop the man from coming closer.

“Don’t go nearer, I’ll scream!”

“No one will hear you, young lady.”

“Someone will, my friend’s coming over.”

The man just chuckled. Kris and Jooyoung were hiding behind a brick wall. Jooyoung was about to step out but Kris pulled her back.

“We should call the police instead.”

“It’s fine, trust me.” She gently pried off his hand and went to the man. Kris tensed and followed her.

“Screw this.” He muttered.
