Narrator’s POV

Kris sat beside Chen and assessed the attendance. Only six heads including his. Xiumin and Tao began ordering what they want.

“Jooyoung?” Lay voiced what Kris wanted to ask.

“Oh? Noona’s in China.”

Kris looked up.

“Why?” He asked. Lay grinned and looked at Tao.

“She said she wanted to rest there for a while, I think its her cold.”

Kris frowned and looked away with his jaw flexed.

“If she’s sick, shouldn’t she be here instead? I heard it is freezing in Beijing right now.” Chen said.

“I don’t know. But she’ll be home next week.” Tao said. Luhan tapped his fingers thoughtfully, something was not right. He looked at Kris, his expression changed. Kris looked worried at the same time hurt.

“Hyung, are you okay?” Chen asked. Kris just gave him a nod. Lay looked down with a troubled expression. Something wasn’t right, and he can feel it.

After lunch, Lay followed Kris to his office.

“Something happened, huh ge?”

Kris sighed and sat down.

“I told her.”

“About what?”

“I told her I like her, and now she’s running away from me.”

Lay’s brows furrowed and he sat down.

“She’s not, isn’t she sick? Don’t think like that.”

“She’s avoiding me, Yixing, cant you see? She has a cold, why would she go home there when her family is here?”

“Hyung, maybe she has a reason for staying there, didn’t you give her time?”

Kris nodded.

“Maybe that’s why, she needs some space to think, if she comes here, all of us are always together, so…don’t lose hope.”

“And, I’m sure she’ll be back before the week ends, Tao says that she cut her schedule short this week.”

Kris didn’t say anything but he just looked at the window.

Your POV

I went to Zhongshan Park earlier and I decided to stop by a strip mall. It’s been a long time since I walked around the city. And the road signs and other billboards are giving me a headache. Maybe I should have brought butler Yi with me, I cannot understand the characters!

Luckily, I made my way to my car.

“I heard you’re here.”

I spun and found Moli facing me.

“Oh, nice to see you again.”

She shook her head at me.

“I hope you’re happy, Kris ge threw me away because of you.”

“What?”

“We were supposed to be married, but you came in the picture.” She spat as she turned away.

Married? Moli and him?
