Narrator’s POV

Jooyoung walked with her brother as they passed by the shore.  The siblings were chatting about random stuff; Tao had his usual expression on, a cold and intense glare. Jooyoung was just prattling on.

Kris was behind the group. Luhan grinned and walked with the two Huangs.

“Jooyoung-ah, do you want to jet ski?”

“I cant swim oppa.”

“It’s okay noona, it’s safe. You wont fall.” Xiumin joined in.

“You can try jie, if you want. I think its safe.” Tao nodded.

“Good, she rides with me, come on.” Luhan pulled her away to the dock.

Kris stood beside his friends.

“We’re jet skiing hyung, let’s go.” Chen said.

“I’m fine, you guys go.” Kris nodded as he walked to a bench.

Lay just rolled his eyes and went with his friends.

Jooyoung was just wearing her bikini top and her shorts. Tao nodded as she wore her life vest. More coverage. Jooyoung sat behind Luhan and they sped away.

“Oppa.”

“Yes?”

“Does Kris have a bad temper too?”

“Not really, but he doesn’t express that much. Honestly~”

Jooyoung yelped a little as the jet ski jumped over a wave. Luhan grinned.

“We were quite shocked last night.”

“Wae?”

“Kris got angry.”

“He doesn’t get angry~”

“Ani, he does but not in that way. He never got mad at us before. But last night he yelled at Lay.”

“Ah.”

Luhan grinned. Jooyoung didn’t get it. Finally when they came back to the dock, her legs were a little wobbly.

“How was it?” Lay asked. Jooyoung nodded and smiled at him. Luhan poked her cheek once.

“Lu-Lu oppa knows how~”

Tao appeared with her shirt. Jooyoung placed it over her head and wore it.

“Thank you, Tao. Let’s go, I want to eat clams!” She grinned.

“Aigoo, she also has aegyo.” Lay grinned and wrapped her arm around his.

“Let’s go and find clams, our only girl is hungry.”

Kris watched her as she and Luhan talked while on skiing. She would occasionally laugh at something then held tightly onto Luhan. Unconsciously a small smile would tug on his lips.

And of course, he didn’t know why he was smiling. But when she smiled, he liked it. When she talks, he liked it.

Then he snapped out of his revelry as soon as he noticed that she was walking towards him.

“Kris, let’s go eat.” Jooyoung tilted her head to the side and nodded at him. Kris blinked and stood up.

Your POV

I know, I have to fix this awkward atmosphere between Lay and Kris. I waited for him to stand.

“What do you guys plan on eating?” He asked.

HE TALKS!

“We’re heading out for some seafood.” I replied. He nodded.

“Are you okay?”

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“About last night.” He looked at me once.

“I’m fine. Thanks for helping me.”

“You’re welcome.” He smiled back and looked ahead.
