Narrator’s POV

Kris slammed the leather file on his table. He shut his eyes briefly. He stood up by his glass windows and crossed his arms.

Apparently, the recent BOD meeting didn’t go well, most of the directors weren’t prepared and the meeting resulted nothing. And it made the Wu Yi Fan mad. His secretary stayed glued outside in her desk.

Then a knock was heard. Kris didn’t reply.

Behind the door, Jooyoung grinned. She heard about what had happened. Kris’s secretary was so tensed on her seat.

“Kris?” She said as she slipped in the room. Kris looked at her.

“Bad mood?” She asked as she placed her bag on the leather seat. Kris didn’t say anything but he just opened his arms to her. Jooyoung smiled and hugged him.

“You and your temper.” She chuckled lightly as she kissed his cheek. Kris’s eyes softened a bit.

“I brought coffee.” She said as she let go and handed him a cup of iced coffee.

“Perfect for the ice prince.” She giggled as she sat on his office chair.

“You’re not busy?” He asked. Jooyoung shook her head. She felt the tension coming from the giant. She smiled lightly and stood up.

“You’re so stiff. Loosen up, I’m sure they’d come up with a better report next week.” She said as she tilted her head and nudged him. Kris looked at he briefly and sighed.

“They had a whole month to prepare it~”

“I know, but you have to relax, come to think of it, I rarely visit you here.” She smiled as she wrapped her arms around his waist. Kris smiled.

“What do you want to do?” He asked. Jooyoung let go of him.

“Actually, I came here because I’m flying to China this afternoon.” She said. Kris looked confused.

“Why?”

“Tao needs some help there, some business investors are quite…….difficult to handle. But don’t worry we’ll be back~”

“I’m coming with you.”

Jooyoung smiled.

“Arent you busy?” She asked. He just shrugged.

“Should we have lunch before heading to the airport then?” He asked.

“Arent you a little too excited for this, Wu Yi Fan?”

He just smiled and pulled her out of the office.

Kris’s POV

We went inside the restaurant. I saw Jooyoung grin as we sat down.

“What is it again?” I asked.

“You tend to scare people off.” She chuckled and picked up the menu.

“Let’s go?” I asked. Jooyoung stood up and slung her bag on her shoulder.

“What did Tao say?” She asked as I took her hand as we walked to the tarmac.

“He says you and him are going shopping after the meeting.”

She laughed. I looked at her as she smiled. Beautiful, like always

Your POV

“Edison?” I asked as we entered his office. I found my brother glaring at me.

“What is it?” I asked as I leaned in and gave him a hug. I heard Kris close the doot behind me.

“Everything here is so…….” He sighed.

“Buing, buing.” I chuckled and stood up.

“Don’t worry, I’ll try to talk to them.”

He gave me a nod and shook Kris’s hands.

“Good thing you didn’t fly alone, jie.”

“Trust me, flying alone was a good idea, he was in a bad mood earlier.” I commented dryly and sat on the chair. I saw Kris smile.

“Well, not anymore….I guess.”

Tao stuck his tongue at me.
