Mir’s P.O.V

             “I got it omma, I won’t get in trouble…yeah I’ll eat…aish I told you I’m no-…OMMA!” I wish my mom was as quiet as Joon. “I said I got it! Bye love you to.” Mir hung up the phone and dangled his hands on either side of his bed. Maybe if I go for a walk I’ll see Joon. Thought Mir and walked out the door. Where would Joon be? It’s been an hour of random walking through the city and still no signs of him. I’m giving up. You walked into a convenience store. Your eyes roamed all over the place but there was no one there but you and the man at the register.

“I’ll just buy some ramyun and eat that on the way home then I don’t have to worry about cooking.” You mumbled to yourself and grabbed a bag of ramen from the shelf. As you got closer to the register you over heard the man talking to someone.

“You need to get out of there, it’s not good for you. How many times has it been this week?”

“Eight.” Is that Joon? Mir got curious and decided to eavesdrop a little longer wanting to know what was wrong with Joon.

“That isn’t healthy Joonie fight back or get out of there. What happened isn’t your fault.”

“I know hyung but he’s still my father. I can’t leave him alone.”

“You know you’ll always have a home with me.”

“Thanks Seung Ho hyung, you’re the best. How much is it going to be?”

“Just take it, you already suffer enough.” Joon suffers?

Mir came out from his hiding place, just as he walked up to the register  Joon turned around and Mir gasped in shock.

“J-j-joon?  Are you okay?” you asked when you saw the bruises on the side of his perfect face. This is what that guy meant by fighting back.

“Mir what are you doing here?” asked Joon trying to turn around to hide his face.

“I was taking a walk what happened to you? Are you okay?”

“Nothing happened. I got to go.” He said and walked out of the store following him.

“Joon tell me what’s wrong, I know I’ve only known you for two days but I know that you’re a good person and seeing you hurt like this is wrong.” You said without stopping for air.

“I’m a good person?” you nod and he hangs his head low.

“Joon tell me what’s wrong.”

“Nothing’s wrong, leave me alone.” He said starting to walk again.

“I’m not giving up Lee Changsun just watch me, I’ll make you tell me.” You screamed and stomped off in the other direction. Who does he think he is? I just want to know so I can help him. Why do I even care, I don’t even know him.

Joon’s P.O.V

                     After leaving Mir in the ice cream shop, you went back home to find your father drunk in the living room.This isn’t good. Joon tried to tip toe to his bedroom so he wouldn’t wake up his dad but failed when he felt a hand land on his back.

“Where the hell have you been? I’m hungry, make me some food.” Yelled your dad and shoved you to the kitchen. “Better not think of doing anything stupid or you’ll get it.” He threatened and walked out to the living room. Joon rubbed his aching back and got the utensils with ingredients ready. When the food was almost done cooking your dad came back into the kitchen.

“What’s this ?” he screamed and threw the pan towards your head, you ducked to avoid it.

“You think you’re so smart by ducking it huh?” he said and kicked you in the stomach causing you to double over in pain.

“I’m sorry I’ll make you something else.” You said and got up to make something else but he grabbed you by the collar and punched your face.

“I’m not hungry anymore you stupid boy.” He spat and kept punching you. You just laid there and took the hits without even flinching. After he got tired he walked out the house. For an hour you just lied there not knowing what to do. What can I do? After cleaning up the mess and washing your face you walked down to the convenience store close to your house to buy some more make-up and gauzes for your wounds. When you arrived you noticed it was Seung Ho hyung who was working. Great now he’s going to be worried less again. You thought when you walked to the register.

“Joon really?”

“I don’t want to talk about it hyung.”

“This isn’t good Joonie”

“You need to get out of there, it’s not good for you. How many times has it been this week?”

“Eight.” You replied absent mindedly.

“That isn’t healthy Joonie fight back or get out of there. What happened isn’t your fault.”

“I know hyung but he’s still my father. I can’t leave him alone.”

“You know you’ll always have a home with me.”

“Thanks Seung Ho hyung, you’re the best. How much is it going to be?”

“Just take it, you already suffer enough.” I owe you a lot.

         As you were to walk out of the store, you hear Mir’s voice and freeze. What is he doing here? After talking to him, more like ignoring him after he followed you out, you arrived at your house and got to work on your face. No one can ever find out about this, I’ve got to find a way to make Mir not say anything.

            It’s been two weeks and you haven’t been to school, why? Because your dad decided that locking you in the basement was hilarious. All you could think about that whole time was whether Mir had said anything to anyone.  During that you thought about leaving to America even before graduating, it didn’t matter if you didn’t know anyone as long as you were gone from this place, the only thing stopping you was your conscience. What’s going to happen to him? Even though you hated him with everything you had, you still cared for his well being. That’s the only you were staying.

          After being let out at last on Saturday, you got everything ready. Joon decided on waiting for the next two months until school ended, to leave. When the weekend ended Joon went back to school. Nobody questioned where he had been or if he was ok. That was until Mir walked in class.

“Joon where have you been? Are you okay? Are you hurt? Here drink this.” He paused long enough to put a straw in your mouth and made you sip some orange juice then his questions began again “I need to talk to you, I didn’t tell anyone anything and if you tell me what’s wrong I’ll keep your secret. Do you want to eat lunch with me? Should we ditch school and go talk? No if we get caught we’ll be in trouble, how ab-”

“Mir be quiet. Let’s go eat something after school.” You said and he was literally jumping in his seat. Why does he care so much? He looks so cute, the way his bangs fall over his eyes, that little pout in his lip, his breath taking smi- AGH! Joon what the hell are you thinking about, his just a normal guy like everyone else. With those thoughts in your mind all day school ended and you waited for Mir by the school gates.

A/N: HEY GUYS!!! HERE'S AN UPDATE! Sorry it took me so long but my dad took my laptop away at first  I thought he was lying:  but then he was like: so then I'm all:  but atlast he actually took it so I was all sad:  and started crying 

after a couple days with no laptop I got it back and now I'm all like:
