Mir’s P.O.V
Today’s Friday and it’s the second day of your new school life. What should I wear? Dress up or down? Too many choices, so little time.
“Bang CheolYong get down here right now, you’re not skipping breakfast today young man!”
“Coming omma”
Mir trudged down the stairs still in his pajamas and sat at the table.
“Why aren’t you dressed yet?”
“I’m wearing my pajamas to school, problem?”
“It’s your life not mine sweetie.” Said your mom putting a plate of pancakes in front of you
“When are you coming home tonight?” you asked shoving a forkful of pancakes in your mouth
“I’ll be gone all weekend remember I have that company meeting?”
“Nope”
“I told you about it at least 20 times.”
“Mom I can’t even remember what I had for dinner.” Your mom just laughed and ruffled your hair. “Mooom, don’t do that”
“Or what?”
“I, I, I don’t know.”
“Aigoo my son is so cute.”
“So I’m staying here all weekend?”
“You know you can go to your aunts house.”
“I don’t like her.”
“You don’t have to go it was just a thought.”
“I know, I know.” You said as you got up from the table and stretched “I’m gonna go get dressed.”
“Alright tell me if you want me to give you a ride.” She called out before you headed up the stairs.
I wonder how other people dress. What if I’m to dressed up? Who cares its not like I’m trying to impress anyone. After that thought Joon flashed through your mind. Those beautiful dark eyes, stylish messy hair, great body- You ruffled your own hair. What’s wrong with me, I don’t even know the guy.
After about ten minutes of going through the boxes in your room, you finally decided on a pair of black jeans, a black shirt with a white cardigan over it and a pair of army boots. You left your hair in a stylish messy way, grabbed your back pack and walked down the stairs.
“Omma, I’m leaving! Good luck at your company meeting.” You called before heading out the door.
Joon’s P.O.V
You woke up to the sun hitting your eyes, after lazily rubbing your eyes you got up and took a shower. When you came out you noticed your father wasn’t home.
“Great way to start off the day.” Joon said to himself while pouring himself a bowl of cereal.
After he finished eating he got dressed and headed to school. While he was walking he saw the new kid was walking to school as well. If he sees me he might trry to talk to me again. Thought Joon and started walking a little faster but was caught by Mir.
“Joon wait up!”he yelled and ran up to you. “Good morning!”
“Morning”
“Do you want to hang out today?”
“I can’t.”
“Why not?”
“Because.”
“Fine. What do you want to do after you graduate?”
“I’m going to America.”
“Really? I’ve been there once.”
“That’s nice”
“do you have a girlfriend? What’s your favorite color? Can you sing? What about dance?”
“You talk a lot.”
“Only because you won’t talk so I’m talking for two.” Replied the younger boy making you laugh
“Hey you laughed! That’s great!” he said clapping his hands.
“Uh yeah, to answer your questions I don’t have a girlfriend, black, yes and yes.” You said answering his questions from before. He looked so excited as he heard your answers and it made you smile.
“Wow you’re so cool!”
“No.”
You noticed you had reached the school gates and people were staring at you.
“Hey Joon why are they staring?” asked the confused boy.
“I don’t socialize with people much less smile.” Its not like I grew two heads and a tail. People are so stupid sometimes.
“I’ll be going now.”
“Wait but we have the same class.” Called out Mir but you didn’t pay attention and went to the music room before class started.
“Here I can finally be myself.” You whispered and started playing the piano whilst singing your heart out. This is a safe place, somewhere no can find and hurt me. Thought Joon as he finished playing the piano piece. He looked at the clock and ran to class. When he walked in he saw Mir sitting with a crowd of people. I used to be like that. You took out a notebook and started scribbling some things down. After a few minutes Mir saw you and came to sit down next to you.
“What are writing?”
“Something.”
“Can I see?”
“No.”
“Alright. You should come hang out with us after school.” Said Mir looking down at you.
“I can’t.” you said and ignored for the rest of the day.
Mir’s P.O.V
I wonder what’s wrong with him, he looks hurt and lonely.Thought Mir when Joon rejected his offer to hang out with him and some other people. He tried asking around to see if anyone knew anything about Joon, but all he came up with was more questions.
“Hey Mir we’re leaving, meet you in front of the school gate?” asked one of the guys that you were going to hang out with.
“Nope, sorry I have to go home, I just got a text from my mom.” You replied and watched the group of guys walk away, then you turned to Joon.
“Hyung let’s go eat ice cream.” You said and pulled him out the door.
“h-hey let me go.” Cried the older guy and tried to get his hand off of your grasp.
“It’s just ice cream, it won’t kill you.” You said when he wouldn’t stop struggling.
When your orders came you and Joon ate in silence, until you couldn’t take it anymore.
“How come you don’t talk to anyone?” you asked feeling even more curious now. He was good looking, smart and he seemed kind.
“I have reasons.”
“And those are…?”
“Personal.” He stated and put more ice cream in his mouth.
“I’ll hear if you want to talk about it.”
“Don’t bother trying to get close it won’t happen.” Said Joon when he got up from the table and left.
“What is wrong with him?!” you said exasperated. When you went to pay for the ice cream you found he had already paid for it. SEE! He IS nice so why won’t he getting along with people? You questioned yourself while rubbing your chin.
